"WHAT explosives?! I only just got here this morning when this ship crashed looking for valuables when you and your trigger finger turned me into an ice cube for the second time!"

The girl/woman brings her swatted hand back up front and starts jabbing the Frost's chest.

"And when I got free and tried trailing you again, some BONEHEAD tries to kill me in the vents with enough fireworks to fill a house, then break my neck, then slit my throat when that didn't work either! In *that* order! I mean look at me!"

The girl waves around her arms in clear exasperation. "Do you see me lugging ANY of kind of stuff needed to blow ships apart?! And why would I blow up a ship when there's still loot to be found, that's just nuts!"

(jealous of our -10 degree evenings and continuous snow starting wednesday up to 25cm till sunday? to each their own, though I'm pretty sure the arctic front isn't hitting *just* BC, myself :x)

The armor clad kavat pays no mind to the radiation spewing pistol aimed at it nor the cold temperatures around it, content to huddle up in between the girl's legs for now. That said, it's body language is one of readiness should someone's hand decides to twitch in the wrong direction.

"Oh, and survivors too, not that you're making my life any easier." The girl grumbles, directing her line towards the soldiers behind the frost, treating the aimed weapons with equal indifference.

"Seriously, noise pollution IS a thing you know! My head is still throbbing from barely escaping the vent death trap, and your round of bombs is *not* helping..."

"Don't get mad at ME for YOU FOLLOWING US AROUND AND PULLING ALL KINDS OF BS AND--" he stopped, leaning back slightly. "Wait. Someone tried to kill you in the vents? I mean, I'm not surprised, but...did you get a good look at them?"

He glanced at the operatives. "Listen, you bet I'm pissed that you're scavenging the supplies we need to stay alive in this frozen hellhole. But there's something really nasty causing problems for us, and it seems like you too. So will you lay off before we all get ourselves killed? PLEASE?"

Helmet-cam footage was hastily linked, it was clear Leveret was in the middle of yelling at someone. The signal was choppy, and some of the text that usually appeared along the sides of the transmission were, momentarily, in the grineer language, and Leveret only seemed to notice and adjust the input once another operative spoke up.
<SORRY ABOUT TECHNICAL DIFFICULTY THERE, A BIT OCCUPIED AT THE MOMENT. GOT OURSELVES AN UNWELCOME SCAVENGER.> is what the text said.

"I need you to stay here for now." Clogori explained. "If Tarnas gets in here, I don't think I can beat him myself. They can handle whatever's going on. However, we need to think how we'll survive the next three days of the oncoming storm, and protecting our center of operations is the main priority."

Clogori walked back to the window  (I seriously need more poetic names for it) and stared out at the mass of dark clouds heading their direction. The next few days would almost definitely be harsh, to say the least.

The wings on Chegar's Elytron folded back up. Chegar began to inspect the hull of the bridge, noting every hole that would need to be patched. The Vauban then produced a Tesla mine, striping it of its outer casing.
"You wouldn't happen to have some copper wire around would you?" Chegar asked Clogori, inspecting the mine he was cannibalizing.

On Chegar's PDA, Leveret's Helmet Cam Footage was still playing, some of the audio bleeding through so Clogori could keep tabs on it.

Clogori walked over to a nearby unattended console, entered the Rift for a moment, stuck his hand in the console, and it came out a moment later, holding a bunch of wires.

"Gunner seat. The associated gun was 'removed' in the crash." Clogori said, handing the wire to Chegar. "That isn't fairly much, but it should be a good start."

Chegar nimbly coiled the wires, hooking them into the disassembled Tesla mine as each coil became red hot. Chegar set the mass on a pile of debris, letting the heat melt some of the ice near by.

”It isn’t much, but we should have a few hours of heat before I have to replace the core.”

"Can you work to make it easily portable? If we can give those to salvage teams, it'll make things significantly easier." Clogori asked.

Already, the operatives on the bridge looked more comfortable, with the constant threat of hypothermia gone. They got back to work moments later.

"Can you be quiet?" The Supra operative asked, sounding nervous. "It might hear us.

The rest of the operatives stopped upon hearing this, realizing that he could be right. Maybe it can hear their argument. None of them wanted to deal with Tarnas, and they were all sure they would die in the event of being found. Efahz peered around a nearby corner, using his scope to search the corridor.

Realizing how loud he was being, Leveret immediately quieted down to a low speaking voice. "You're right," he muttered, "I can probably hold that thing off if I need to, but it's definitely a better idea to keep him away completely."

"Oh, well sorry for not paying attention to the giant glowing sign over a downed *two kilometer freighter* that says 'Do not touch, private property'. In case you haven't noticed," the girl clicks, her furs definitely ruffled. "There's not exactly a convenience store within walking distanced here, and morals don't fill a hungry belly."

"And I didn't see anything." The girl quietly continues. "Blast in the vents and elevator shaft robbed most of my senses. Sounded like..." the girl lifts up a gloved hand and starts raising fingers one by one. "...two horns though?"

Leveret clenched his fists, but managed to avoid yelling again. "I don't think you quite understand. That thing is a mutated warframe. It's...messed up in more ways than we have time to explain. Now if you don't want to get killed, by me OR Big Ugly, you need to stop f-cking around anywhere near this wreck, understand?"

"And I don't think *you* quite understand just how far I'm (and every other player in existence) going to go to live another day and for loot. You and hornhead aren't the first frames I've dealt with, and you certainly won't be the last. So don't be throwing death threats at me because that's NOT the way to get regular folks to cooperate."

The girl's hands are on her hips, elbows extended out to the side and feet spread out like someone who's had enough of being treated without an inkling of decency, the last few events not doing wonders to her mood.

And from what I've heard," the girl motions her head at the blasted door. "I've done less of what you call *f-cking around* all day than you have within the last five minutes."

"What, you want me to thaw the damn door with ICE? HE WAS DYING, FOR F-CK'S SAKE." he yelled, motioning to Efahz.
Realizing he had raised his voice again, he clenched his fists and took a breath.
"Fine! You know what, fine. We could use the extra set of eyes anyway. Just..." he sighed in frustration, a puff of mist emerging from the front of his helmet. "Just trust that I'm actually trying to warn you here. That's no normal warframe. You don't fight that thing. You run and hope for the best. You're really annoying but I can tell you're not stupid, you wouldn't be alive here if you were. So if you want to live another day as much as you said, stop f-cking yelling at me!"

"Hmmm..." Chegar looked over the various bits of scrap metal. He twisted some scrap around Tesla core. He then proceeded to bend another bit of scrap metal into a small box, clamping it to the heater with the twisted scrap. Finally, he punched two small hole in the top of the box, threading some of the remaining scrap through it to form a ridged handle. The Vauban began inspecting the heat=lantern, holding it by its improvised handle.
"This should be a bit safer for the crew to carry around." Chegar said, setting it down again as he summoned another mine to cannibalize.

"Sorry, but we need to get to the medbay ASAP. The longer we're out here, the more likely that thing finds us, and the longer we have to deal with the cold." Said the Supra operative, backing away from the rather mysterious new arrival.

The dimly lit corridor didn't provide much visibility, and only served to make everything feel quite unnerving. Ice was already forming on the door again, and had begun appearing on the helmets of the Corpus uniforms the Perrin operatives wore.

Clogori continued pacing back and forth, occasionally looking at the incoming storm. He had no idea if Tarnas or the cold would kill them first, but he hoped they'd last long enough to get off this moon. He didn't want everything to go to waste, because of the Grineer.

"If we do find Tarnas, I have no idea how we'll subdue him, to be honest. The only way I got him before was when I had every advantage." Clogori explained. "Now that the Infested has taken over and I have to worry about keeping the crew alive, he has the upper hand. If you have any ideas, I'd love to hear them."

"Right. Yeah. Let's go." Leveret said simply, motioning for the operatives to lead the way. He again drew his ack/brunt and activated the shielding, completely fed up with the mysterious newcomer. Despite his best efforts, he was starting to care about the operatives the same way he cared about his friends in Steel Meridian, and he wasn't looking forward to anything happening to them.

The Supra and Detron operatives went up front, and the other two stayed at the back. The Tetra operative seemed unusually twitchy at the mention of Tarnas, now looking around every time he heard the noise. This continued after they had set off.

Efahz's limp still slowed him down, and it was likely permanent. He did his best to keep up, but he still had difficulty. He stayed more toward the back as a result.

The fully wrapped girl(?) brings up the rear, seemingly content with walking at the limping crewman's pace and not making any overt aggressive actions at the moment. The armored kavat wades in and out of her legs like water, not making so much as a *clink* despite the bulky appearance. Every so often, the girl raps a nearby metal wall, clicks her tongue , or taps her thigh with a hand.

Leveret stayed qrumpily quiet as they continued towards the medbay. He was too busy keeping an eye on the operatives - especially Efahz - to come up with anything spiteful to say to the newest member of their little group.

He couldn't help but worry about Efahz's limp. He had no doubt it would slow them down, but there was nothing he could think to do about it. For a Meridian operative, it would be easy - a permanent injury would mean amputation and cybernetics for any grineer or ex-grineer. But obviously that's not an option here, he thought to himself. And so his train of thought kept circling around and around between the obvious issue and the solution he couldn't come up with.

((I tried to think of something more clever and subtle, but I got nothing.))

An incredibly damaged liset tore through the sky, its engines aflame and pieces of its hull peeling off as it buckled and groaned under the stress. It was losing altitude at a staggering rate, making the likelihood of the pilot pulling off any crash landings extremely small. No, this would simply be a crash.

And but a few seconds later, the ship collided with the packed ice and snow of the surface, exploding in violent fashion.

The nearby ice was already scarred before landing, and fell away easily to the Liset, padding the crash a little. No snow fell at the moment, so there was little risk of being buried. The surface of Europa was rather dim, as the sun set slowly. Jupiter was visible in the sky, and stars were visible on the horizon opposite to the sunset.

(Europa is tidally locked, so one side always faces Jupiter, giving it a surprisingly regular day/night cycle.)

Amid the wreckage, a mag stumbled out, her shields and some unconventional usage of her magnetic capabilities the only things that prevented her from being a charred smudge on the ground. The only item they had in their possession was an incredibly battered reaper prime. It was made entirely of bronze, and looked like the only thing keeping it in one piece was the mag's powers.

"Damn," the mag hissed, rubbing their head, "This is bad. Gotta find some way off this planet before they find out I survived."

The mag looked around, trying to figure out where to head next

There was a long scar along the surface, the sign of a much larger crash. In fact, there was the scrapped remains of a sizable Corpus cruiser directly north. Some smoke rose from it, but it contrasted with something the Mag only just now noticed. A massive storm was incoming, the mass of dark clouds consuming the northern horizon. It would be overhead soon, and would only bring more trouble with it.

The air was absolutely freezing, the bitter cold already dropping the temperature of the Liset. It was inescapable. The Warframe would be fine with it, but any normal person would be dead in minutes without the best cold protection available.

"Well, looks like I wasn't the only one to crash here. Now I don't feel quite as bad about my 'landing'." The mag muttered to herself. "Might as well head over and check out the other wreck. If nothing else, it'll provide some shelter for this storm.

Reaper prime in hand, she began to bullet jump towards the corpus vessel, covering the distance rapidly. Once she got in range, she began to magnetically pull on the vessel, only instead of dragging the ship to her, it sent her soaring towards the ship. With a loud clang, she landed on the side of the ship.
