Mecha Warframes

So, I've been searching a lot in the net for fan-arts of Warframes as Mecha. But I haven't seen any. Maybe I haven't been searching hard enough.

Anyway. The thought of Warframes as gigantic mechas seemed really cool for me. Imagine Tennos as the pilots of these mechs.

I'm not really good at drawing mechas (or drawing anything), but I tried to make my favorite Warframe as a Mecha.

So here's Mecha Frost (Left) and Mecha Frost: Harka Skin (Right).

Note: The "002" number in the Harka skin denotes it as a Prime. I think Frost was the second Warframe to be Primed after Excalibur.

Not opposed to us having mechs, megaframes or something. Though I figure they would be controlled similar to warframes themselves with transference.

Yeah, their transference would be kind of redundant if they pilot it like in Gundam. A friend of mine actually suggested that the Cryopods be inside the Frames.

Id really rather warframes stay warframe like and not.. some other thing.. like. If that makes sense lol

I am no against mecha like frames if the frames could keep itself their biomechanical looks and visuals. There is somewhere a nice mecha frame concept which looked so good and I can imagine later they will add frames like that. My most wanted concept at moment is Flora the plant frame.

that actually looks like a cool optional appearence.. I mean people with VR headsets look mecha 0.o

I'm not exactly showing a concept for a new frame. I'm just reimagining Warframes as Mechas. And to do that I had to remove the biomechanical features.

Ah. So far I'm only able to make side-views of the heads. But yeah, I'll definitely try. I do hope some people also try making these types, don't see much anywhere.

But mechas don't have to be mechanical. It would be pretty cool if the frame is inside the mecha, like a cryopod. We can already control Golden Maws.

You mean like, the Warframes would be the pilot suits for the Tennos before they actually go inside the Mechs?

Nah, the warframes are the 'tenno' of the mech.
