Best Exalted Blade Weapon?

I recently went back and picked up excalibur. What would y'all consider the best melee weapon for an exalted blade build nowadays (I've seen cases for Destreza, Nikana, Jaw Sword, Dual Zoren, Broken War, etc.)?

Also, which mods would you recommend (slash dmg, elemental, crit, etc.)?

Exalted blade is not affected by which melee weapon you have equipped, only by it's mods.

Most blades, not just single handed swords give extra damage.
