xSephrone
I was told the amount of blast damage you have increases the effect of that particular proc. If so how does it work (with numbers and source if possible) and how does it work with other status procs?
0 redeyedtreefrog
I've never heard of such a thing, and I'm pretty sure I've read the entire wiki page relating to damage 2.0. As far as I can tell, a knockdown is a knockdown where blast is concerned. However, I can say that status duration will make one of the effects of blast last longer(there's 2 actual blast statuses, one is the knockdown, and the other is a 'blast' state, which doesn't do much until you get condition overload). However, I think it affects the UI element of the blast state, and not the actual knockdown.

Maybe what you heard / read / otherwise assimilated was referring to how, with multiple elements - including Impact / Puncture / Slash - present on a weapon, increasing one element makes it more likely to be picked when the weapon happens to proc. Let's say you have a Braton with Corrosive and Blast, both at equal strength. If you do get a (non-IPS) proc, it's 50 / 50 whether that'll be a Corrosive or Blast proc. Increase the Blast damage though, and now you'll get Blast procs more often than Corrosive ones.
