Cross Gifting?

I was just wondering if there was a way to send a gift from PC to an XBOX ONE account.

Im expecting the answer to be "you cant" but i thought id just ask :)

I think if they added this it would violate their agreements with the console companies. Plus there was a brief period of time where people could copy their pre-existing PC account to consoles. Theoretically they would just be able to duplicate their account and gift themselves stuff. Good Q tho
