An option to use an older version of Earth tile set

My settings were low enough as it is, it didn't help when the newer version of Earth got released and it just ends up screwing my frame rates.

Is there anything that can be done to accommodate for players with low-end PCs?

only thing that can be done is play in a lower resolution or get a upgrade, really the only options, though there are optimisations coming with PoE that may help

That's the thing, I already am playing at a lower resolution.

Using older earth tileset isn't really something they can do, since the two tilesets are similar but not completely identical.

This is not just a matter of low-end hardware. Earth map is very poorly optimized.

Volumetric Lightning

High Dynamic Range

Adaptive Exposure

all three options must be ON, unless you want to play in the dark forest.

All other maps look much better with these options off.
