Critical chance on gun what?

Iam mastery 9 and everything seemed complicated at the start but i realized how things work quickly.

One thing i dont understand completely and had problem googling it is critical chance on guns for example machine gun.

Every time i shoot critical spot i get critical hitmarker so what is crit chance for?

Only thing i can think of is that with critical chance it increases your critical chance anywhere on the body.

So if i would have 100% critical chance i would score “headshots, critical shots” anywhere on the body? On leg etc? Is that right?

Thanks!

headshots are different from criticals. A critical is an increase in damage based on your critical multiplier that can happen any time (based on crit chance) anywhere you hit an enemy.

Thank you for very informative answer:).

So if i shoot with 100% critical chance to the head it does even more damage? 2x?

A critical headshot does the critical damage, only double. So, yes, it is like doing double damage.

Critical Headshot damage = Damage * Critical Multiplier (aka Critical Damage Multiplier of ur weapon) * Headshot Multiplier(Most mobs got x2 some x3) * Headcrit Multiplier (always x2)

So it's not double damage.

Ah. e-e Didn't realize there was three levels of multipliers on that.
