Straxxes
So... Don't take me wrong I was thrilled that you guys changed the keys to relics...it's a really good idea and in some cases, I still prefer relics than keys. Gives you more control over what you would like to farm, even gives you a better chance to get what you want. BUT..... That map rotation is bloody annoying for gods sake... like seriously. The general idea behind that was: "Hey we have tons of interesting and nice tiles, let's make fissures rotating through the sol system so we can enjoy all the wonderful tiles" My conclusion: Yes, thank you for that and I like the idea. On the other hand: That above is almost THE ONLY THING WHAT I SEE!!!!!!! I personally, hate that tile and now I'm kinda forced to play it because Europa and Neptune endless missions almost never appear. Yet another problem of mine that connects to that... I love the new system, but the key system gave me the privilege to pick which type of mission I would like to run. Honestly DE give back some control to us! Seriously! What do I have in mind? Well... We can pick the tier level and mission type what we would like to run...That's it! No more...no less... what this would achieve? We get control of what mission we would like to play, because for example people love to do short, quick runs while doing fissures, it is beneficial but old veterans like me would really like to let us sink our teeth into some higher level content and we won't feel like we have to do baby steps to progress. And also you get your part of the bargain, all tiles will be used, properly as they should be. Random tiles (maybe even random enemies "question mark"). Imagine it something similar like Rifts in Diablo 3... it worked there you know. Please do something cause I really want to farm void fissures...but I look at the missions and either none what I'm looking for or if it is, the tile is nauseating and I just quit the game and wait. Is that normal? Best Regards, From a Veteran since day 1. Edited December 21, 2017 by Straxxes
CrazyCatLad
I don't care about tile, I can't about mission type and fissure tier - sometimes there are no endless missions, sometimes there are no Neo fissures. (for example) It's stupid RNG. Edited December 21, 2017 by Lanieu
Kuestenjung
I don´t hate any tileset, but nevertheless you have a point. And seeing Neo interception all the time on Uranus is just annoying. I mean it´s not like DE couldn´t make every tileset available for every relic, like nightmare or Kuva missions or Sorties.
Drasiel
Sounds more like a rotation issue than anything else. Maybe needs something like x location can't repeat more than y times in a 24 hour period.
Shifted
Full RNG is never a good idea for a system like this, and there should be some rules in place. There should always be: A mission of each Era A choice for short or endless mission
(PSN)HurricaneHugo76
There should be a standard rotation, so people can plan ahead and decide when they want to farm based upon where in the cycle it is, the rotation should offer a varried array of mission types. Honestly, they could make every relic type have all mission types available and just rotate the planet/level its on. The whole system of randomly changing fissure missions is just another of those weird grind mechanics the DE is in love with. My biggest issue with relics is the beginning and the end of the process, the fissure mission are in fact the only enjoyable part of the system. I hate the fact that when you farm for relic you only get random relics. And I hate that essentially you grind void point and pour them into a relic, but in the end it's still just a slot wheel rng chance to get one of FIVE items, with the hope that all those void point did anything. I have too many times where I have refined multiple relics and never saw what I wanted to drop once. Even when trying to optimize the chances ad have everyone bring the same radiant relic. I feel if there was way to find specific relics and then adjust the refining system so that you can select a specific reward and solely focus on that drop chance it would vastly improve the system and give players a more rational way to farm for primes. And I am not advocating removing grind for primes but instead changing the grind to something which guarantees the reward you are looking for, and technically you can still keep the loot RNG for those who want to take a chance at pressing their luck, but for people like me who hates gambling with their time, offer an alternative. Since relics I have not been able to acquire an entire prime set solely using relics. Ive had people either gift me the missing item or I had to buy plat for it. This is also the other issue, the RNG is whacked and some items I feel are exponentially harder to get than others. To me relics represents the biggest deficiency in this game, loot RNG. I think they need to stop relying on RNG as a mechanism to extend the grind time for items. It creates too much of a gambling environment, and on the whole most people experience the crushing hit of losing the dice roll than the thrill of winning the jckpot. And this is not subjective, it has to be a fact because DE would not allow too many people to acquire items too quickly, so like a casino they have skewed the odds in their favor. Meaning on the whole, players lose more times with relics than they gain. This is the gamblers reflex in all of us being manipulated to run that fissure mission just one more time because this time it'll drop, I just know it.....
