Can't Mastery Rank Up?

So I recently got a friend to try the game and he has enough XP to go up to mastery rank 1. His bar is flashing and full, as it should be, but for some reason there's absolutely no option for mastery rank up; nothing. Anyone know how to fix this?

Did he relog or restart the game ?

another option is to go to the relay on mercury and head to Cephalon Simaris.  When you get to his room, turn right. all the tests are available there. if that doesnt work, open a ticket with support.

it is also important to note that your friend will continue to earn mastery points even when they are ready for the next test.  This is important because they can continue to play while the issue is being looked at (if my suggestion doesnt work) and they will still progress with their MR.

None of the relays are available for MR0+ folk until they access a planet with one that is not destroyed.  DE shot themselves in the foot by $&*^ing up something that was useful for newbies.  It's silly that one can be rank 20 in WF and equip and still not have access to a relay -- a lot of new players are not rushing through the story and thus not unlocking things they don't even know exist.  It's completely stupid to obfuscate S#&$ from potential customers.

Welp maybe you just haven't earned it yet. Are you a begining player? After the I think 3rd mission you can Mastery Rank up.

try to do some missions maybe you havent done enough I dont know to be honest. If that doesnt work try contacting warframe support goodluck hopefully this doesnt happen again.

Mercury is easy to get to though and if they are playing together, it shouldnt be difficult.  At MR1 if they were following the quests/working toward opening the junctions, it shouldnt be much more to get to the Mercury relay

at MR0 they can be taxied to the first relay.... however it is always better if they just play through and unlock the path themselves...

on that note blame de and new players for thinking the plains is where it is at and ignoring the rest of the star chart.

so much fun to troll  these players when they cry in region chat and doing nothing but complain how they cant do anything in the plains but take dirt naps  with their unranked frames and mk-1 weapons, even more so when they dont like the reg mission nodes and want everything to happen on the palins

Thank you all so much for your help, but after we played one or two games it finally let him rank up. not sure what the problem was, but it fixed itself.
