Sentient cores question for PC players

We are expecting the update soon on XBOX, and i was wondering do we still need all the sentient cores and the brilliant shard after that?

currently i have over 200 shards (after building all the items in the foundry), around 50 brilliant after unbinding all the powers in the focus system and maxed everything (converted a lot of brilliant into focus points)

and i am left with over a million of quills points after buying almost everything (missing 1 arcane set, waiting for my daily cap)

So in short, with the coming of the update, would i need all these shards and cores, or should i stop hunting the eidolon?

barely anything will change in the quills. The brilliant shards are a good way to get focus. You have plenty of cores. Just keep using em for arcanes. Not sure if those things are tradable. You should find out so you can make plat with them if you don't want to use em.

Yes they are tradable if you build them in the foundry, already sold few sets

Well you have everything from Focus and Quills and you won't need anything till new 2 Sentients come , maybe more amps and arcanes come with them.

You can take a break from hunting for now :D
