Ammisro
Doesn't look much like a proper warframe fanart or concept. I guess it could be? Story behind this picture : Before PoE was released, I was thinking about Kavor defection how a grineer defector who refused to join Steel Meridian and rather choose a civillian life could be an NPC in the town. This has gone quite far enough to the point of 'What if Steel Meridian or someone has gone on a sabotage mission of cloning facility, found a fetal clone in a tube with a possibly defector gene? and decide to do some experiment. Raising him just as a colonist. Since this is not happening in Cetus now, Mars seem like a good candidate where a small, rural open area with emphasis on colonist could happen along with the whole grineer deal. Rather than accerelated growth, the kid grew up with the Mars colonists. He is still a bit sickly, but more healthier than soldiers we fought (Although remember that the colony might not have the access to advanced cybernetics). He could be an NPC trinkets trader like Nakak, or a gunsmith apprentice. Also slight inspired by Teadude This fanart of Cetus Clem Spoiler https://imgur.com/NlQMmvD Edited May 15, 2018 by Yhtmahyll

Unus
I tried to build a "native born" Martian Grineer a fair ways back, had it end up looking like a skin-suited from Dune, especially with it's gringineered creature, the Skate-derived Kwos drone. Interesting to see a different direction here, makes me think "Stranded Grineer", buncha troopers left behind on Martian deployment who have no records to show they lived on the Grin side, meaning they are loyal to the Kweens, but also targeted by Grin and Corp alike. Wandering gun-smith works just as well, kudos to you.

Your ideas are interesting as well, we usually see Grineer as a unified faction but incidents as such could happens, Is it possible that some would end up being a mercenary of their own? and it raises a lot of question what defines a human. This little guy might not be much into wandering, since he couldn't even walk properly or comfortably to begin with. While being actually healthier than most Grineer, he does not have the aid of cybernetics like the soldiers. But perhaps there would be something that important enough for him to risk his life doing so. It'd be interesting if he'd be subjected by both Grineer and sometimes colonists alike, along with the implications of childhood the clones don't usually have. Hm. . . hm. . . sickly "fetus" flushed from the tanks early perhaps? They seem to gestate your average Grins to full age 23 completion given what we see in the Tube Labs, so, if he got spat out early and, say, got taken in by some fresh slaves who coulda got loose (Corpus raid, faulty frontier security, fested meatwall, etc), perhaps he could have very well had a childhood, something that drives an absolutely massive wedge between him and Grin resocialization, but having at least some pre-programmed (mighta been made to be an artificer, but, they got the legs almost as wrong as the female template's.) splits him from the indie colonials. Just my two cents acourse, a habit of mine I've put to use over in the Pit.

My ideas for the guy is that he is very normal mentally as he's got the 'defector' gene, although the decay or some other traits are still there. Although how someone with pre-programmed grineer 'loyal to the queen' trait would communicate with outsiders is an interesting scenario, is that going to hinder socialisation much? [DE]Skree
What a great piece! Very serene, just sitting back enjoying the Martian afternoon. I love the care you've given to his outfit especially! I can almost hear him greeting the player and offering a quest.

OH, well. . . uh. . . usually my tangents tend to scare folks off, so. . . uh. . . sure, I can try a bit. Well, if he has both the defector gene AND retains the grinic behavioral programming, the fellow might latch onto any female figure in power to serve as a typical servant of. Could be the Kweens, Mrs. Lotus, could be Madam Tal, the list goes on quite a ways. By serving you as a vendor, for example, he might be trying to serve the Lotus, yet he could easily serve the Kweens if they would not try to kill him on sight for not being registered. Beyond this "quest for a big female master" ingrained into him via crisscrossed priorities, could still be quite functional in a variety of ways. Hey, hey, hey! Lookit you and your recognition by Boss S! Congrats on making a splash suh.

Thanks Skree, I don't know how grateful am I to have my work recognised by DE staff. His nose oxygen tube is in fact largely inspired on your voice performance on Sargas Ruk and Shik Tal too, It's a subtle details that takes Grineer conditions seriously, breathy and painful. Some may found that annoying but I love it. 4 hours ago, Unus said: OH, well. . . uh. . . usually my tangents tend to scare folks off, so. . . uh. . . sure, I can try a bit. God.. why now I start to imagine a neckbeard grineer trying to please his M'lady That was NOT what I had in mind, but, saying it now, I can't help but picture a disheveled looking Tyl Regor, helmet askew to reveal a stubble-bearing chin, showing his computer screen to a significantly non-plussed worm-queen depicting over-muscled Tyl-Regor clones in various Japanese Animation poses. "Haven't made much progress lately my Kween, but, here is a glimpse of the future!"
