Brimir
What to put there? Seems rather crappy for a melee weapon; I don't really have any funky mods for melee that share the polarity....
KvotheTheArcane1
The melee ice mod is a good mod to put there.
PsychedelicSnake
North Wind is what I primarily put there. If it isn't that, the only other option is Staggering Force.
Kracken
http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Fang there is ONE (good) melee mod with that polarity - north wind ( increases Ice damage on a melee weapon by 10% per rank for a maximum of 60% at rank 5.) Endrance
http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Fang there is ONE (good) melee mod with that polarity - north wind ( increases Ice damage on a melee weapon by 10% per rank for a maximum of 60% at rank 5.) Two. North Wind and Staggering Force, although, Fang has 0% base stun, so Staggering Force does not work with it.
agung.up
try this build https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/48591-what-else-should-i-equip-on-fang if you want.
X3Evanescence
Basically your question has been answered. The defence polarity is quite useful as a maxed North Wind can cost as much as 11 mod capacity. Reducing it to 6 will thus be a great way to conserve mod capacity. Good luck! Endrance
try this build https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/48591-what-else-should-i-equip-on-fang if you want. Just add Rendering Strike for extra Armor Pierce Damage (or Focus Energy for Shock) or even both if you want a "supportive" charge attack

Brimir
I don't really have the potato to spare (that's the term, right?) so I've only got 30 capacity. But yes, I realize now that North Wind fits - and Ice is by far my favourite element (the slow is uber!).

Brimir
Not so much that I don't want to, rather that I can't.
