Make A Bounty Board In The Plains

What the title says.

The bounty board outside of Cetus would also be of much help to people who want to go into a bounty immediately after finishing one. Let's be real, if someone wants to do a lot of bounty runs, they don't run back to Cetus to visit the vendors or run around the settlement: most of the time people go to Konzu and head right back. So why not cut the process of loading and transitioning short and just allow players to start a new bounty just as they finished one? Other players can stil diconnect, so I doubt they will be forced to play with people who want to have a couple more runs.

You shouldn't lose your gems, fish, or bounty rewards since they are saved when you get them. The end of mission screen may bug out, but even when it shows nothing earned I've still had what was saved.

Ran through the update notes. Completely forgot that resources are handled this way on the Plains. Kudos!

Yeah, it's not made obvious in-game, and it can be frustrating thinking you've lost everything obtained.

As for the other point with Bounties, another user also mentioned  something similar. My thought is to have a Bounty selection screen that occurs similar to Relic selection. Players can pick any Bounty to do, and the ones that pick the same Bounty remain grouped together and start their own matchmaking session.

Another way to reduce annoyance with Bounties would be to have traveling missions (like the hostage or drone escort) be used as connecting paths to different Bounty locations instead of traveling hundreds of meters for every mission with none connected.

The areas where the Bounty takes place have enemies change from their normal state, vaults that don't open because they are part of a Defense section, the entire Plains have breakables that change with the level of the Bounty.

As far as I know, this cannot be done piecemeal. This has to be done all at once, like you're loading into any other mission, this is just a Very Big tile. There will be a loading screen that puts you "somewhere" while a new Plains instance is loaded on the Host and any players. The loading screens aren't there to punish you, they are telling you there is stuff going on behind the scenes.

I wouldn't really think that this would be the problem since resource caches, crates, vaults and other sources reset after a certain distance from the player. It can definitely be doable, either by refreshing the values in one big injection, or by gradually resetting them as the player approaches.

I’d love to see bounties from the planes, but how to deal with 4 players all triggering different bounties?

Host should be squad lead and choose, but I don’t think DE’s engine has that mechanic in their system.

Separating squad-mates is a system that's already used when you open the Esc menu and select "Leave Squad" beneath your profile glyph.
