senmurai
Insulting and sad waste of time. Who comes up with this kind of rewards and percentages? Do you even care DE?
(PSN)CrimsonAxure
I know they want you to grind but Thats a little bit overkill, don't you think?
Kimimoto
If it takes you 30 minutes to escort 8 squads, then it's not the games fault. That shouldn't take you more than 10-12 minutes. Also the 7% drop chance is only for Tier 1 Defection, Tier 2/3 have an 11.28% Chance which is significantly higher. Since they share a reward spot with random mods like Life Strike, I'd argue that those mods could be decreased in chance while the Systems are increased in chance. Taking 4% from life strike would bring it down to 7.28% chance while boosting the Systems to 15.28% chance which feels a lot more fair.
Jeon-Rammbo
I do that mission about once a week - I figure I'll have Harrow in a couple of months. And I'm totally fine with that. If you did the mission once a day, you'd most likely have Harrow in two weeks or so - so not a huge grind, either way.
sixmille
Wait until you're at the neuroptics part. It's in theory possible to do it with a group except that in practice it's not so it gets extremely tedious quickly. I have all of the other parts, defection isn't the best thing ever but at least there's a variety of experiences to be had there. In spy? No. It's just the exact same thing over and over, and it's not really difficult, it's just insanely time consuming alone. I gave up on the neuro parts after a few tries, it's just too mind-numbing, and I say that as a traditional MMO player. I personally don't mind spy, as long as I have to do it exactly once for something like an alert or kuva. And all this makes sense, we all know Ivara is the most popular and used warframe, that most players love spy so much, and that Harrow makes sense as a reward from a spy mission because it's so stealthy. throwaway987654321
Why make it so players can get something out of real skill, when instead you can make it borderline impossible for anyone to get a required component so you can frustrate them into giving you money to buy the frame outright? The kind of cancer "free-to-play games" (lol) love to dish out.
