Transfering Warframe files from "local dis"k C to "local disk D"

Hey, i would like to transfer my game files from the primary disk storage to the secondary one.

I've run out of space on main disk, and it's making it significantly slower.

BUT If i were to transfer to the second disk, would it force another download for me to wait for over 20GB?

Does optimisation help?

If running standalone versionn, just copy the  parent game folder . The next time you will start warframe from a new location it will prompt you to select the folder where warframe is . Once you do that it might download a few bit of small files , other that it should work fine , No need to redownload the game.

Idk how steam version works ,so if you're running that  , i cant help.

From your steam library : Right click on warframe > property > local files and see if it give you the option to transfer from one disk to another.

You can delete that and make a new shortcut from Warframe\downloaded\public\Warframe.x64.exe (NVM, warframe launcher is loaded from user\appdata\local\warframe\downloaded\public\tools\launcher.exe)

so after all that, am i supposed to choose the installation folder, which would be the parent file, right?

I might be getting confused myself but, if you've opened it from the launcher and it asks for an installation folder, then choosing the warframe folder that you moved should have everything sync up properly instead of it trying to redownload everything.
