The Armor demands clean lines from the frame it’s on to work. It might also work with the Volt Arrester Helm and certain Nova aesthetics. I love the shoulder armor on Nova. OoKeNnEtHoO
I think they are meant to feel like wings or car spoilers from the back. They do feel too unprotective from the front and sides to be called armor but from the back, especially if you have other spiky protrusions on the back either via syandana or frame skin, it does give the wings or car spoilers feel and look rather good. I put it on my Excalibur with the Dexcalibur skin. The spiky spine area plus 2 of the shoulder plates seem ok from the back. For this shoulder plates, definitely need 2. It's a little hard to pull off wearing only 1 side, except with the Proto-Excal skin. The Proto-Excal has a lotus symbol on the left arm and this shoulder plates have a lotusy text symbol on it too. So, the combination of both on just the left shoulder matches pretty well. Edited April 5, 2018 by OoKeNnEtHoO

Nottezio
Depends on your taste, for me it fits on every frame except the one with organic texture, like Oberon feyarch
Valiant
Have yet to try loads of other frames but as people have mentioned it works well on Volt, Harrow (definitely here as it almost looks part of him) and zephyr prime so far. I find the leg places slightly lacking though.
jsnforce
Honestly, you get the coloring down and they look good on a few. Excal and Ash especially. Though, they are a bit smooth, considering how lumpy most frames look.
