Anthraxicus Posted June 29, 2018 Share Posted June 29, 2018 Interesting enough, I've managed to find a workaround by accident. I had tried to use the optimize function before, but the launcher tried to update anyway and it would give the error message before the optimization could finish. So, I was dowloading a patch for another game right now, which "stole" all the bandwidth. So, the launcher couldn't even try to update, allowing the optimize function to finish its job and it worked.
