Maim+smite infusion? does it work?

Hiya!

 

As title says,

Im wondering if anyone knows if Oberons Smite infusion works on equinox (day form) Maim? Ability.

Aka adding the radiation procc to the dmg aura?

 

Currently a clanless tenno skoom so dont have anyone to test with xp

I do not believe so, as Maim deals no direct damage. It simply applies a Slash proc based on your power strength, then deals stored damage as a Slash proc based on damage stored. I don't see any way for Maim to have Smite Infusion add damage to it, as it has no damage stage outside of the procs.

It shouldn't, smite infusion only applies to weapon damage as far as I know.

I would assume ‘weapon’ abilities a la exalted blade etc

Wondered if there was a small 'hope' since rhino roar affects maim

Ok here we go based off the wiki roar works because it's a warframe damage multiplier and smite infusion only works on attacks and maim is classified as a damaging aura not a direct attack. If you want to up maim's damage I know I've seen maim trigger my resonance banshee spots when they're on the torso of an enemy. Hope this helps.
