zombiedeadhead
I ask you to reconsider/revert the change to the sound effect of slam attacks, which are now an overwhelming annoying BOOOMM every single time. This has been especially apparent to me using the block combo with Tempo Royale, which has gone from my favourite cmbo, to so damn irritating i just quit a 20 minute relic run. Is my best Zaw heavy blade and stance going to be totally unplayable from now on, and Galatine Prime?
Gweredith
Ah so there was a sound change. Though I was imagining things. Anyways, I like the change.
Hiyu144
Where was this change mentioned? I thought that it was a bug because the sounds of normal slam attacks and combos that end with a slam differ quite noticeably, and it's not just Tempo Royale, Flailing Branch and Blind Justice are affected as well. Anyway, it's also really annoying to me, you can't feel the weight of the attack at all.
[DE]George
We will be updating a lot of the melee sounds soon, so we will take another look at this.
(PSN)AbBaNdOn_IGN
Im on ps4 so I wont get new ground slams for another year but..... If the sound FX is annoying... how about it makes a noise based off what gets hit. Human/animal = death crys, armored/metal = screaching metal. Gore in this game is soooooo weak.... We need the visual/Audio gore cranked way up =P I need fountains of blood and death gurgles to truly enjoy my sci-fi violence. (thinking about it the only sounds that would be important for me in a ground slam would be the sound of blades sinking into different materials, or the thuds of blunt weapons smashing into soft/hard things, but most importantly I think the main sound I would expect to hear no matter what happens attack wise is my big fat beefy warframe crashing into the ground. And or not hearing my warframe since that would be kinda anti-ninja lol.....) Guess that is hard to figure out.
