Skill tree: The difference from Sicarus? The first shot goes straight on, and the second one on a set height above. Damage: 50 Clip Capacity: 12 Fire Rate: 10 Reload Speed: 1.0 (It's kind of slow.) Sometimes when you reload, the gun automatically fires after it has finished. Wastes bullets, nothing more really. I can now tell you the Purpose and origin of Kraken. The Kraken is a Lex created using the Sicarus model to be half as efficant as Lex at long distances, but more effective than Sicarus, since the first shot is so accurate. Sicarus Burst is better close, but Kraken still can hold up, even if not as damageful. Kraken is in the middle between Lex and Sicarus, or at least supposed to be. Ryme Posted February 14, 2013 Share Posted February 14, 2013 When you reload it sometimes fires a burst. The bug seems to occur because the weapon fires in a burst of 3 rounds. Since the sclip upgrades do not scale in intervals of 3, sometimes you will end up with only 1 or 2 shots in the clip when firing off your last burst. Your weapon will then fire off the remainding rounds in the clip and automatically go into reload. When it finishes reloading, it will immediately fire off another burst to make up for the missing shots of the previous burst. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Is it less accurate, have a slower firing burst, or some other drawback compared to the Sicarus where the alternate might be more feasible/comfortable in certain situations (like accuracy at range, or followup shot speed)? You mean it costs 45 plat to speed up the 24 hours build time, i assume. Despite that, there's always the 20 plat cost for the potato so... anyway, better craft it.
