Some things that can make a dojo interesting 1. THIS IS A MUST!!!! Training virtual room (allows us to choose a faction we want to fight against and lets us choose the level of the enemies we want to fight, so that we can test our new weapons and see which weapon is best against a faction and worth keeping). 2. The barracks only purpose is to upgrade the clan to next level and nothing more. How about letting us use the barracks as a storage area for our frames. Give us 1 free slot to store 1 frame and rest of the slots need to be bought by plats. 3. Need a vault where we can store weapons. Again give us 2 free weapon slots and rest must be bought with PLATS in order to store more weapons in the vault. 4. Clan vault where we can store misc. materials so that when the warlord or a high ranked officer builds multiple rooms at the same time so it automatically takes materials out of vault. Also show a marker on the minimap, that shows which new room is being added and built so its easier for clan members to enter and go straight there to donate resource. 5. Yes i know DE wants to make money but 150 PLATS for Clan Emblem is too much, unless the emblem will show on flags, on doors of the dojo. Make it meaningful and last an impression of proud clan. 6. Please allow a beast in the dojo according to clan ranks starting with ghost clan gets 1 beast, shadow clan gets 2 and so on. Beast requires 100k credits, and other materials to build. Beast roams around the dojo and when you enter the dojo and find the beast roaming, where-ever it is in dojo, can ride it by pressing X and control it the same they control their frames for movement. 7. Create a new room that has a virtual map of our solar system so that if we wish to do a mission we can join right from there instead of exiting clan and joining again. 8. GET RID OF CONCLAVES, WE HAVE A DUEL ROOM AND THATS ENOUGH!!!!! Create a new obstacle or training room in dojo where we can play (Each of these matches can have 1vs1. 2vs.2 or 4vs.4) team deathmatch, team protect the Pod (requires 8 tenno players 4vs.4 who protect their own pods from each other) and team Kill Strike between our clan members. If DE reads this then please add something cool and interesting to the dojo in U11. Oates_ Posted November 6, 2013 Share Posted November 6, 2013 (edited) I believe that dojos are already on the 'plate', as DE has often mentioned that they wish to make it more of a clan hub and less of a ghost town. These are some fun ideas though. However, if you use your imagination a bit or have read the numerous suggestions already given (which may be the reason of your witty response), you can do things like: - Choose the type of enemy (Napalm for instance) to test against, their level and most importantly, their behavior, such as aggressive/alerted (will shoot at you), unalerted/unaware (allows you to test stealthy approaches), completely immobile (damage testing). --- This is very close to fighting game's Training, which are deep and practical. - Choose whether or not you receive damage (no damage in order to test your own damage/powers; damage-on to test your resistances, such as how long you can last with maxed vitality + steel fiber against a Corpus Tech), or to test your Quick Return + Rage synergy. If you "die" from damage received, it will be like a loss in duel, where you fall and get back up. --- As opposed to a regular mission, you have better accessibility to test stuff, and you don't need to find specific units scattered around the map, nor would you need to die/add a mission quit to your stats (if you care about that). - Choose obstacles courses (more precise parkour training, as well as testing puncture weapons) - Choose to play Mastery Tests you've already done before, or even one that you failed and have to wait 24 hours. This is to practice and understand what the test is (only unlocked if you failed it once), since sometimes it can be confusing at first. I could go on, but you should get the point. This is a DOJO after all, a place where you train and hone your skills/spirit. Instead we have a labyrinth to stroke our e-peen and buy BPs of researches for the most part. In some rarer cases, it's used for hangouts, but again, there's not enough actual interactions, and not enough "dojo" materials.
