    If the 3 is intended to remain a movement ability .. And that everyone complains about its cost .. and that to be simple, it is a dash of vombalyst, accomplished by a eidolon warframe .. Why not move that on his roll ?
    In the same way that Limbo has his dash to get in and out of the rift ?
    This would give the opportunity to rework the speed of the power activation, because it will have to become very fluid to be performed during the jump, and this will release the 3 for the introduction of a whole new power ..?

  5. The new energy cost is not really bad.
    It is even rather well chosen.
    This 4 has monstrous damage ability, it is normal not to be able to hold it for a long time.
    And anyway there are plenty of ways in the game to have a lot of energy.
    Make sure you have 175% efficiency, and it will cost 5 / s

    This can prevent us from remembering how much charges we had before enter operator mode .. So, that sometimes makes us take big risks without knowing it.

  8. I'm back again, to repeat all the love I have for you, DE, and for Revenant.
    I just realized something very important to me..
    The existence, of an obvious connection, between Revenant, and the hero of my childhood, Raziel, of the Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver serie.

    Forget the notion of vampire.
    There was never any intention to make him a vampiric warframe.

    It is in the lore, the eidolons are cursed to some fate, prisoner of a state that forces them to be nocturnal if I resume very roughly.
    The life steal passive may have been misleading, and that may be why it has been changed.

    All his powers have a relation with the eidolons, there is no doubt for me.
    He only misses the spectral shape of the vombalyst that I would like to see happen in a rework of Reave.

  10. After spending the day .. rereading the completeness, or almost, of this megathread,
    ( yes I have nothing better to do with my life .. xD )
    Here is the list of what I think is necessary, in priority, as adjustment of the powers of Revenant.

    Enthrall
    - The cap of 4. If this cap is not changed, I understand, but it's imperative that the usage is never blocked by this cap.
    That the oldest target among our 4 is released if we want to control a 5th.

    When you rush a area, you may use this power on some ennemies, and then you arrive in a room with a heavy unit, and you cannot control him
    " °-° where are my 4 little friends, I want to kill them >.< "  we think at this moment..

    Optional: force the new thrall to stay in place 1 or 2 seconds before leaving to attack what it can. It looks for distant targets without moving during these first moments,
    because we may want to use the power just to quickly have 4 thralls to cross with the Reave, or kill with the 4 for the overshield.

    Optionnal: The counter of thralls must be in evidence. Currently it is in the middle of all the possible buff. This would not matter if we could always use the power as suggested.

    (very) Optionnal: I suggest that if we keep the key pressed, we bring our thralls around us by teleportation.
    That the cost in energy depend on their number if you want.

    Mesmer Skin
    - Correct the bug that completely makes disapear the counter.
    - Add a sound and visual indicator when an enemy is stunned. (a small ripple of energy in his direction will suffice)
    - Add a sound and visual indicator when the armor disappears.

    Optional: review the list of types of damage that we can endure.
    It happens very often that completely crazy damage falls on us without knowing where it came from while we thought invincible for another 10 charges...

    Optional: Consider changing cast time.

    (very) Optional: Consider modifying the animation.

    Reave
    - Change this 2D gif into a real aura of energy similar to the vombalyst dash.

    The other negative opinions and proposals I have seen for this power seem uninteresting to me. This power is actually good enough as it is.
    Be careful, however, its use in  mid-air is strange, if we fly over a slope our altitude changes .. which is not really logical, we are supposed to go straight from where we started the power.

    Optional: Consider a rework of this skill.
    A spectral shape similar to the vombalyst, the dash would be easier to chained, with the roll key.
    The complete idea is visible in my previous feedback.

    Danse Macabre:
    I didn't see much negative opinion, but I saw a certain suggestion several times.
    So, optional:
    - To be able to raise us a little higher if we maintains space key, in order to pass over some small obstacles.

    Warning, I do not know if it's wanted, if we trigger the power while we are squatting, our speed will be greatly reduced '-'

    The passive:
    I saw a lot of negative opinion on this.
    It seems really useless, and even having found that we can easily destroy ourselves with the Phantasma, this tiny shock wave is just ridiculous.
    You have gone from life steal, potentially Op, to ridiculous shock wave.
    It's Revenant, give him something worthy of his prestige.

    I saw a few remarks about the functionality of the overshield, which seems useless to some, because our thralls are killed too quickly by the allies.

    Personally I didn't have a problem like this.
    I quickly capture 4 targets and I cast the 4 without wasting time, I increase my overshield easily, although it seems too random sometimes ..
    I managed once to have 2000 shield, but I do not have still not managed to do it again ..
    In any case the overshield is very useful for defense when the armor of the 2 goes away, and we need time to reactivate.

    Overall, the warframe is very good, and we see very well what he is intended to do.
    But you may have made it available slightly too early.
    But it could be intentional ..
    After all, it's Rebecca's baby, isn't it ?
    It would be more than logical that the warframe of the community manager receive a lot of influence from the community thanks to the feedback ^^

    I return play with him, I love him so much and cannot wait the tweaks of all this little details xD

  11. After having made my little feedback earlier, and supported some suggestions that I could see afterwards, I come back to present an idea ..

    I saw a lot of negative opinion on Reave .. and thinking of it, I have a suggestion ..
    Make it a toggle ability, with a fairly short duration.
    This would be his (emergency) spectral mode, as it is when he comes out of the earth in the quest, but with more aura of energy.
    In this mode:
    - He enters this mode by a shout, which briefly stun ennemies nearby
    - He's invulnerable ( and maybe uses the incomming damage to boost his own )
    - Moves a little faster.
    - Doesn't use his weapons anymore.
    - He can't use Mesmer Skin
    - He can't use Dance Macabre.
    - He has a number of charges. (maybe 5 or 10) ( To keep the balance, and encourage people to leave this mode even before the short duration comes to an end.)
    - These charges are used to shoot big single lasers with his left arm, by the firing key.
    - Every kill with these lasers give us some energy (like a Limbo kill in the rift)
    - The rolling key makes a long dash similar to that of the vombalyst, with the current effects of Reave.
    - He has 3 free dash, the third will force him to return to his physical form. ( Again, to keep the balance )

    Of course, if we are using Danse Macabre, the 3 remains the long dash, but it must really be reworked to be similar to that of the vombalyst.

    This way, we have:
    - An ability perfectly in his theme, which gives him a second possibility of damage, to vary and not to have only the spin2win..
    - A ability that is played in the emergency, the duration would be just long enough to use our charges.
    - We are safe thanks to the spectral form to take our time to use the dash effectively.

    Please, take the time to consider it.
    That removes nothing of him, and I think all the negative opinion on Reave come from players who want it to be more controllable and useful.
    And that adds the final eidolon aspect..
    You already almost have the model ( in the quest ) <.<

    I propose this because, anyway, currently, he pauses between each dash, it does not chained fluidly.
    You have designed this ability to give him an escape move, that regenerates, synergizes, and is similar to the vombalyst dash.
    These conditions are all respected in this suggestion, which brings you in addition, a spectral form that will give him even more eidolon charisma and a second laser attack, more simple and direct, which will delight everyone.
    If you are afraid of the invincible aspect, I remind you that you already have some warframes that have this available, and that I specified that the duration should be short, because it remains an ability to escape, or rush.

    Of course, I know it's very rare that you change a skill just right after you release the warframe. I do not really know how it happened .. but it seems to me that there was big late changes with Khora, no ? 😛

  13. Well, for start, I'd like to say a big thank you to DE, it's a very well done Warframe.

    But since this post of feedback exists, it is that you wait our opinions in order to regulate the last detail isn't it ?
    So, here is the list, in all objectivity, of the remarks that I made to myself while doing the quest, and using Revenant up to the lvl 30.

    The Warframe:

    His appearence: He is beautiful +.+ The set of armor is perfect, nothing to complain about.

    His powers:

    Enthrall:
    One thing disturbs me about this power, we need a visual indicator, on the icon of power, when we reached our limit.
    I noticed that there is a sound indicator, but a visual indicator would be complementary.
    I suggest that the icon goes red, much like simaris blocks us a skill in the sanctuary.
    Also, on the minimap, thrall are marked with small blue dot, like any allies, but, since their aren't numerous, and they tend to wander, would it be possible to make them more visible on the mini map?
    A blue dot slightly bigger, and bright?
    We have to look for them to kill them, so all means are good to find them as soon as possible.

    Mesmer Skin:
    The animation, I still do not understand it. And besides, it's really ridiculous when you do it in mid-air.
    A very short audible indicator would be welcome for every stunned enemy,
    and another when we no longer have our armor.

    Reave: As a lover of Revenant's look, I tell you frankly, I can not stand this 2D squared texture. <.< Really, it ruins everything.
    This skill is inspired from the vombalyst dash isn't it ?
    During their dash, they are fully enveloped in an aura of energy. Why not Revenant ?
    Please change that '-'

    I am very happy with the distance we can travel with, but I would like to suggest a possibility, that we can use it to go up, at least diagonally, at 45 °.
    The vombalyst are capable of it, I think..
    It would be convenient for example to go to a higher floor, on Akkad, Hydron, in the void, with class * - *
    Or to get closer to a ship in the plains, as I do with Nezha ..
     

    Dance of Death:
    I've already seen people predicting a nerf <.< No no no, don't touch that, it's perfect.
    I have no idea of the method of calculating the damage, but find them perfect.
    Heavy enemies resist just enough, the low level low are killed easily, it's perfect.
    I want to remind all those who already ask for a nerf on this skill that it is an End Game warframe

    You must have unlocked the quills syndicate, so have made the war within, and have fought eidolons.
    And more, that's what he's supposed to be, a powerful character, so no please, no nerf <.< Especially since it's his only damage ability.

    My suggestion on this power, totally optional:
    Maintain space, move the lasers upwards, up to 45 ° or a little more.

    The quest:
    The story is good, logical, well told.
    But it's a formality ° - °

    You have worked like crazy to do the plains of eidolon, and you do not use all their potential .. !

    So, I would like to suggest the addition of a second possibility of damage in his kit.
    Make Enthrall, a double ability.
    I know it's strange to put a possibility of damage on the same skill as the control, but there is no place elsewhere ..
    In the same way as the 1 of Gara.
    Simple use, the power just works as currently.
    If the key is a little held, the power projects a thick laser lasting more than one second, to the target, and damages everything in its path.

    I watch Twitch streams every day to see how the new ones are working out, and help them if need be, and they all, absolutely all, go through the same questions.
    Some more easily than others, and it's quite fascinating to study ^^
    Clearly, now that the game has really content, a serious content, especially compared to its beginnings, it is time for it to take the time to improve what is in place, in order.
    This passage of this interview, says a lot I think .. up to 34min 7
    (the whole interview is interesting to watch, to understand how we got to warframe in its current state, and how DE are incredible * - *)

    In the same way that the melee 3.0 comes, I think it would be necessary to assemble a small team on the project "global improvement"
    The game needs lots of little things to make it more immersive, more captivating, more alive. And it does not need much, it's already very close to giving the feeling of a "complete" game.

    I would like to talk about a little thing that I find strange ..

    Gem mining.
    Obviously, the more we succeed in mining, the more gems we get, it works for example with the crimzian.


    But what I find strange is the level of success of mining, does not seem to affect the number of gems obtained when it comes to Nyth and Sentirum.
    It does not matter, it's always 1.

    So I was wondering if it would be possible to review that?
    Personally I would appreciate getting 2 ( no more ) when the mining is 100% successful

  16. I am of the opinion that the charged abilities are good ideas, they are made to give a stratetic variant to the ability, and in that they are successful.
    However, this long loading in a circle is a horror for the dynamism of the game.
    I want to bring back a quote from Steve during the discovery of the eidolon plains, during the deployment of archwing.
    "Warframe is a game about speed and high mobility"

    For me, most of these charged abilities should be as fast as the one that exists for the 1 of Gara.
    An additional energy cost would not bother me and would be logical.

    I am also of the opinion that many augment mods could simply become charged versions of some ability.
    But that's an optional idea..

    The armor of Atlas has an accelerated deterioration in the bubble of nullifiers, so why not that of Inaros.. ?
    Also, I noticed that he lose his scarab armor when he uses the archwing (or a dargyn) on the plains, while nezha does not lose his halo for example..
    Would be nice to regularize that too ..

  18. Each focus school has its animation pack for the tenno.
    But this one is only visible when we are not on mission.
    Would it be possible for the tenno to use these animation packs during missions when he stands still ?
    Besides, would it be possible, when the Tenno is equipped with an amp, to disable / enable it with a key ?
    (attacking again would automatically re-enable the amp)
    This way the tenno could abandon his battle pose, to use his animation pack.

    I heard about the idea of the 3 appearance customization profile for the tenno, it is the proof that people want to take care of their tenno, and to be happy with them.
    So, the visible animation pack on mission, and the control of our fight pose would be a nice point I think..

    The game crash, sometimes, when you kill dargyn and their pilots, who have not yet taken off, with the secondary fire of the last amp, the disc.

    when you use your operator on Hydron, this tends to cause mission abandonment by team members, and most often the host.
    Even if you are a rank 23 who can kill everything in a few seconds, if you show an operator who comes to exp and thus "slow down the mission", you provoke .. I do not know, rage quit?
    It's .. hyper, frustrating .. ° - ° and yet very few things frustrate me in warframe xD

    Can we have an icon on the name of the host of the mission, especially visible when choosing to extract or continue?
    This way we could choose to leave the mission with him, and not take the risk of losing something that would not be preserved by the migration.


    Or when the host leaves, a choice to click to voluntarily become the new host ?

  21. It happened to me right now, ( again, because it's not the first time.)
    All affinity gained by my amp on hydron, lost, by host migration when he decided to leave at wave 15..
    I can understand a loss of this affinity when the host migration is sudden, but when it's the host, who leave like that, in a controlled process, why amp's affinity is not among the saved variables and transfered on the new host ?

    Also, in general, it is necessary to have more regular backup of what is acquired on mission.
    Yesterday I mined a dozen Nyth on the plains, and a crash occurred when I killed a dargyn with the new amp .. 10 nyth lost ..

    But, seconds later, my attention got blocked on one little detail..

    The chest part of his armor.
    The idea is very good, the door knocker, ( I don't know how it's called i'm french xD )
    But, the "head", i found it too elongated, prominent, and just a little too detached of his body.
    So, I wonder if it's possible to.. reexamine this part..? maybe make it more "flat"; shorter, more "breastplate", but keeping the door knocker, I love it '-'

    ( I base this feedback on the moment in the arsenal, where Rebecca prepare to go on the elite alert.)
    Anyway, even if it stay that way, I love it ^^

  23. I'm totally for the idea of not using our weapons when we use a K-drive, and that the combat aspect is essentially in the openings of fights, but I really hope that the fluidity of the transitions will be something important in all that.
    I'm hoping for propulsed jump, some shots in midair, and falling back on our board..Good luck to the programmers ( I trust you *-*) xD
    Also, if there must be an offensive possibility, without leaving our K-drive, I think it should be a melee attack, similar to our classic slided attack.

    An aoe knockdown when shields fall to 0 ?

    I think, if your shields drop to zero, with this warframe, it's because you have a serious ennemy around, i doubt that a little knockdown would do a signifiquant difference..
    I would prefer, a serious knockdown, with a 20 m range and a magnetic effect, even if it has a cooldown of 30 sec xD

  25. You scared me, I immediately went to find the passage.
    And I found it.
    When Rebecca says she has "a maximum of 4 right now", look at the icon on the top right, with a counter of 4 I think it's the counter of controled ennemies, it goes down to 3, then goes back to 4, then goes to 5. So the maximum is not 4.
    It would therefore be possible for the maximum to be dependent on something dynamic, such as the energy we have in reserve.
    His passive have changed, it's no longer a life steal proportional to the energy that we have, it has become a blast when our shields fall to 0, so the energy in reserve mechanics has maybe been taken to manage the maximum number of ennemies under our control.
    But I can be wrong on this..
