  1. Not two rails, just two mission options - like you choose between Nightmare mode and regular gameplay on a planet mission.

I'm personally not a fan of this. The whole point of solar rails is **player conflict**. Why are we removing the player conflict from player conflict?

Solar rails is content that originally (and rightfully should still be so) content that is for more hardcore gamers, vets, and competitive players. The ENTIRE game is soft core, so why are we taking the ONLY hardcore content, and catering it to the soft core community?

  2. I've pretty much acquired almost everything in the game.. Been on a pretty long break, logging in maybe once a week to ensure the clan doesn't kick me for awhile now.

There is nothing to do. I've even mastered Conclave 2.0. I really feel like they either need to make U18 amazing as to attract back the hardcore and competitive players, or they need to deliver a solid and sound Solar Rail.

  3. Perma-blind Mesa (23% duration with Shooting Gallery Augment and 4 players). This is probably my most favorite build to run. Forget about Mirriage for blinding, this build takes blinding explosions to the next level. Best used on small tile set defense missions, especially if you are with an organized team who stays on 4 sides of the pod. Basically the entire room gets blinded with one simple cast and is incredibly spam able.

Immortal Legion of the Undead Nekros. Nothing feels more secure than when you have an army of undead between you and your enemy. Only tricky part is when you can't get the kills fast enough, and your next cast is a small army.

    Decisive strike (teleport) Ash.

  4. Lol Mesa is better than ever now!

Obviously she's not the farmer she used to be, but now she can actually deal significant FOCUSED dps where it counts, especially in long and hard mission types.

But you wouldn't know anything about that would you? You're just mad that you can't hold a button and win anymore now are you?

Go play FarmVille or something if you want to farm. If you want to play, join the real ranks who are mastering these reworked frames and being more deadly than ever with them.

Same with Saryn.. Adapt or die

  5. 1.) I don't know if Consoles got it yet, but PC had an update introducing quite a harsh AFK system. 1 minute of inactivity = automatic boot. Even to the point that standing still and shooting out of a Frost bubble can register a boot.

2.) Try avoiding playing with pubs. If you do play with randoms, understand that there is nothing that can be done about the type of players you will encounter. Leachers and trolls have existed since the beginning of multiplayer experiences, and always will.

3.) Always friend up mature and skilled players. Hell you don't even have to talk to them or play with them. It's just always nice to have someone you know can handle their salt, and send them a message like "T4S - you in?"

  6. A lot of players are casual players. Being casual isn't a bad thing, but this usually indicates that these players aren't nearly as good as more frequent or hardcore players. If you want to see this, hop into lower and mid tier planet nodes and join randoms. Watch how lvl 22 heavy gunners can down people.

The issue is that Warframe is balanced fairly well for the masses, but truly lacks endgame content for vets. You take a casual into a 40 minute T4S, and you will quickly find out how hard the game is for a lot of people, while some of us can get to 60 minutes in our sleep.

I present to you - U18 and end game content (hopefully). The sentient is supposed to be end game orientated content, so now we just have to keep our fingers crossed that the devs deliver something epic. If they don't, then I think this post will hold more validly

  7. Here is what the Halloween drop table should have looked like:

    1% chance - Rift Sigil

1% chance evenly split between ALL Day of the Dead Packs

1% chance - Nabarus Shoulder Armor

    1% chance - Mantis parts

    1% chance - Event mods

20% chance split between Orokin Reactor, Orokin Catalist, Exilus Adapter, and Forma

5% chance - Of any booster type

20% chance of spy and Aurora mods

10% chance of Nightmare and Derilect mods

40% chance at either 1 pack or 3 pack gold cores, with a lottery system to determine 3 pack or 1 pack

1% drop rate keeps the market and rare items from being too flooded, but high drop rates on other items makes the alert still worthwhile to do as a good source of mods, gear, and cores.

I would call this fair as it usually takes 10+ minutes to complete the caches and the boss

  8. Alright - So you need to gain new Warframe and weapon slots which can only be acquired with platinum. BUT! 2 weapon slots is 12 platinum and 1 Warframe slot is 20 platinum.

You can aquire platinum without spending real world money on it. Trade Prime parts from the void with other players for platinum. Or sell fusion cores, or farm syndicate reputation to sell Syndicate weapons and mods. Hell, now that PVP mods are becoming usable in PVE, you could make platinum off of playing against other players!

So yes - this game is very diverse and very much so free. Did you ever play Runescape? Well, remember how when you first started, you were pretty much limited to killing chickens and goblins, and you basically had to train your way up? Well, Warframe is like that as well. Start small, and expand your way outwards. All that platinum does is it provides a platform for you to essentially 'skip' the grind. Platinum is by no means required at all when acquiring new Warframes and weapons, with the exception of the slots.

It is worthwhile to mention that slots are permenant. Meaning if you buy a slot and sell the weapon that you filled the slot with, the slot will remain and you will not have to rebuy it.

12 platinum is 12 gold fusion cores. 12 gold fusion cores can be acquired pretty rapidly, like 10 minutes tops, once you know the location and have the stuff needed for it (Triton, Neptune). But in the meantime, those broken mods you get (the one with cracked screens), are actually collectors mods, as they can only ever be acquired by new players. So sell those broken suckers off for 50 platinum.

  9. What percentage of the player base are pvp? 10? 20? Seriously, should such a minority be in such a position of trade strength?

Forcing players to either pvp or pay is bad, end of.

I believe that's a bit of an exaggerated low number, but if the PVP population is truly as low as you say it is on PS4... Then I'll gladly trade off Plenty of PVP mods for people on Xbox. I own every PVP mod and do every challenge every day. Now I've gotten to the point that I just buy bulk numbers of the commonly most wanted PVP mods and sell them off to new PVP'ers.

Keep in mind PVP mods cost 15,000 and players can get 21k rep a day (MR20), and at least 6k, up to 12k extra per day via challenges.

  10. I knew I was going to like the new Peacemaker, however, it was a kick in the teeth in the grind time to level things up.

Which is why I went from MR13 to MR18 in a two week span, that way I don't have to worry about that pesky "non-Mesa grind" post patch >:).

Now that all I have left are two Warframes, AW gear, and most melee weapons, I can actually enjoy Mesa for some real gameplay! I believe this update makes her much more viable with end game, as her focus fire allows us to actually take down priority targets, such as Ancient Healers.

  11. Problem: PVE players have to play PVP to get these

Solution: PVE player trades PVE syndicate mods for the PVP mods from a player who plays PVP.

If you don't want to do that - well, then those players are out of luck.. They can either drop plat on them or PVP themselves. Although they might encounter Lock N Loaded or CFE, who has no mercy for the weak >:)
