I tried it again. I know what I did wrong. I clicked all the way thru the polarities and the last option is blank which just resets the frame/weapon. But I should have chosed the white option. Totally missed that years since I removed a polarization. Thanks for answering my question.

I just tried to reset a Zenurik polarization to be blank. But the game just reset my Warframe and nothing happened more than I wasted a forma. Is there no way to remove a polarization?
