it's already "fixed". Players are 3/sec, and non Players are 1/sec. reduced cost since it isn't a Player.

you weren't draining 186 Energy/sec like you say, not even close to it. if you were draining quite fast, it was.... more likely to do with Energy Leech Eximus, not that there was a few extra targets. with any sort of reasonable Mod Loadout, you would still be draining <10/sec even when covering all Players, 7 Shadows, and 4 Companions. assuming that all of them needed Healing simultaneously, because Energy is only drained for targets that actually need the Healing(the Shadows obviously need the Healing at all times but if it's only them then you're looking at <3/sec).

    sounds more like user error.

Eh, no, it was the summons.  When I ran the hell well away from the kuva objective(Where the Nekros was), my energy went down normally.  When I went near it, and laid out my carpets to defend and CC the enemies, it triggered the buffs and healing on the Nekros summons and boop, gone.....700 energy, gone in only a few seconds.  It counted down as fast as a void energy orb counts up......just drained it right away in a matter of seconds.

And the whole thing is, that the shadows shouldnt have healing applied to them AT ALL, since they can simply be resummoned.  So, why would they need the healing?

As for my efficiency, it is at 95%, and my drain is like 2.56/s per target, or something about a 2.

They don't want the gameto be better.... they want it to be Grindy...

In any case I think a better fix would be to remove the Health Drain from Nekros's Zombie army. That way it would still drain Obeon's Energy but only if they take damage...

In the case of the infested, Oberon mighy actually want the Ancient Healer Zombies to stick around for the damage reduction...

Would that make Nekros too OP ?

well yes and no.... yes it would be OP for him to have scaling Body Guards but ultimately its not going to make people say: "Oh wow... This Hydrolyst tough... I should have brought Nekros."

No, draining energy only if they take damage?  Thing is Damage is completely irrelevant on them, since Nekros can recast and resummon new pets at will.  The drain just invalidates Oberon and prevents him from being able to even play the game really.  I cant CC, I cant strip armor, I cant heal, I cant buff, I cant do jack.  I found this to be an incredibly annoying issue in that 100m+ kuva survival last night.  Enemies started to get tough and I needed Dance floors and armor stripping balls, as well as the CC effect and couldnt as I had no energy.  Also needed the healing to heal me.....

  3. Yet another thing ive long wished we could get in this game.  I mean, while DE is busy power creeping us with Umbra mods and Tenno abilities and Rivens and Prime this and Prime that, hell, let us make use of the useless little utility mods.

Mods like: Ammo Drum, Magazine Warp, Speed Trigger, Ammo Scavenger and other mods like those should absolutely be Exilus mods, so we can give certain weapons little utility boosts without sacrificing damage.

I for one would certainly find great use in an Ammo Drum on my Soma Prime, or maybe Magazine Warp.  30% more ammo reserves after my Riven sapped 36% of it. Or like the Kohm, put Ammo Scav on that, without losing a damage mod slot.  Kohm, a great gun that runs out of ammo inside of 5 minutes. Braton Prime, same thing, great gun, but runs out of ammo to damn quick.

  4. Seriously, why is this still a thing?  It literally would take 5 minutes to change and would alter nothing within the balance of the game.  The only thing it would fix is not making Oberon players hate every Nekros they ever meet.

I mean, there is absolutely 0 logic to why Nekros pets should drain energy.  Nekros pets are able to be recast at will, and they wither away and die anyway, sooooo, this non-sense with Oberons energy being sapped cuz Nekros pets are up is beyond crap.  It should absolutely be changed.  That, or change Oberons heal energy drain to a flat rate, instead of per target.  Honestly, id rather take that.  Remove the per target energy drain per target.

I did a Kuva Survival last night and I got basically invalidated into the 100+ minutes we were in there. 744 Energy with 85% Dmg to energy drained in like 4 seconds flat from the Nekros crap ass drain mechanic....I mean, not that we lost or died alot, but I did get downed ALOT cuz I had no energy to heal and had to first cast my heal after raging energy from the enemies.  It was just incredibly annoying and there is simply no logical reason that this 'feature' should still be a thing.

Seriously DE, fix this issue, your game will be better for it.

Don't take this the wrong way but...

You should read to the end of a book before judging the story... and should play further into the game before judging it, as well.  If you've not yet made it to Sorties, you've still got ALOT to experience.

Ive made it to sorties, I just opt to not play sorties most the time, since for the most part, the rewards are not worth the effort.  Though, to be fair, ive gotten a riven in my last 4, guess they changed something.  Ive got like 850 hours in this game, or something around there.

I think there's room for a different primary that fills a similar roll. Always liked guns with a big rotary mechanism. Like Cestras big primary bother. Or hek, make it a Arch gun. Whatever.

I honestly would LOVE a Cestra machinegun, always wanted one, the Cestras dont quite cut it, being tiny little pistols and such.  Now that I think of it, if I was to redesign the Supra, thats the overall design id follow.

My problem is the energy color.

Doesn't matter what you choose, it ends up looking like you bleached it.

Yeah, the only tracer I can even see is red, the rest look like barely visible white lights.

Like I said though, a Supra redesign, that would be great.

  8. Seriously, this is a weapon that ive long since felt needed a redesign to better match the Corpus faction.  We now have multiple Corpus guns, shotties, snipers, lasers, and they kinda have a mechanical appearance, while the Supra looks like a giant block of steel, or a car battery, just a solid block of bleh.  Its a pretty decent gun, quirky and annoying to use with its slow velocity and stuff, but not bad.  I literally dont use it more simply because of how hideous it is.  Go ahead DE, spice that gun up, give it a new Corpus LMG look.

    Then I feel for you.

I for one will enjoy the new game mode. Hope something you'd like eventually comes your way.

Id like Railjack more if it was about coordinating fire and accomplishing a mission by use of the Railjack itself, and not simply using the ship as a means of transportation to get to a normal sabotage mission.

Like, IDK, a defense type mission, where your tasked with protecting a relay from invading Corpus ships, attacking from multiple angles.  As you spawn in your told about incoming Corpus, and your Railjack is deployed, your then given 3 waypoints to protect, probably shield generators for the Relay.  Then if those get breached, the 2nd line is the relay's turret defense grid and its power supply. Your force wins if you defeat 30 waves, complete with attacking Corpus mid sized ships, like the ones we see in Vallis.

    Price of imperator rivens increases!

In all seriousness, I am hoping on Railjack to fix a lot of what Archwing is.

And Railjack has improved to what?  The reveal gameplay bit I saw awhile back was alot of fighting inside a corpus ship while the Railjack sat outside waiting for the Tenno to finish planting a bomb and then escaping in like 2 minutes.......it wasnt so much fighting with our own Tenno battleship, so much as it was a standard archwing mission followed by waiting around......wasnt honestly that impressive.

Between Time, CC immunity, Status immunity and a DPS + eHP weighted fight they've essentially made the choice for me.

That kinda stuff I hate in games.  They give you the illusion of choice, but in the end, you really only have 1 option, if you want to succeed without losing all your sanity.  If games want you to meta so hard, they should just give  you the meta for free and that be the only choice.

That's still way less than all high level armor. No matter how you put it!

Oh, no damn doubt, DE fell asleep on the keyboard when they were entering in armor amounts for enemies.....

Im just wondering why armor matters at all, cuz I dont notice any difference, not only in the miniscule little bit I did in the simulacrum, but in general battle field conditions.  I either cant die and enemies do like 2-5 points of dmg per hit, or I evaporate and im dead before I can even register what happened....

  13. You met someone who is no life-ing the game.  Your fine.  Take it slow, learn it well, actually take time to become a 'good tenno'.  The Bad ones are the ones who rush it through and get to high MR, but cant even tell you the name of the frame they are in, never mind how to use it, and how to play the game, much beyond WASD....if they even know that much.  Besides, you will find out MR means little more than squat.  Its good up to like MR14 or 18 depending on Rivens you get later on, but past that.....MR is just a 'I have no life, look how much I play Warframe' type of thing.  Dont focus on it to much.

Shwaak/Shrak/Lohrin - decent all around amp that works great if you're just getting into farming Eidolons.  Can pop Voms with ease, and still alt-fire shields.  It doesn't require high standings.  As he said, even a tier 1 set will be an upgrade over the dumpster that is the mote amp. A little bit of focus farming and you're operator will stop flopping harder than an NBA player, and actually take some hits.

What focus increases his health?  I looked in the Madurai school, everything is about lighting my void trail on fire.....

Do we get the bonuses from multiple focus schools at once or something?

    Alt Fire shields?

  15. PLayers cheese difficulty because the enemies are so full of cheese the only way to fight cheese is cheese.  What they need to do is make the enemies better, smarter, more tactical with more abilities, like us, in the Warframes.  Not just pack of armor, hitpoints, damage, more armor, a bit more health, a touch of damage and when they get done, add more armor and health.  Oh?  You want more difficulty?  Ok, 100% immunity to all your skills to boot, plus, make sure you dont forget to add armor and hitpoints to the enemy......when your done, now were gunna add enemies teleport you to them so you cant escape....

THAT is honestly the biggest flaw with this game, and what makes it ALOT more boring than it otherwise could be. DE needs to seriously take the time to put more effort into their enemy units and the AI controlling them.

More bullets into the enemy doesnt constitute challenge, its not ultimately more enjoyable in the long run and it wont keep people that long.  Eventually, someone will trivialize it by simply min maxing to the max and then all your extra 10,000% buffs to the enemies are pointless.  Then DE goes and does things like adds Rivens and Arcanes to make US even more powerful and able to trivialize the enemies further.  Cuz 75% crit isnt enough, here is a Riven and an Arcane and a Cat so you can get like 220% Crit chance.....and then 6x crit dmg, that isnt enough, your Riven also increases that to 9x.  With my Soma Riven, I can get a 124% Crit chance and like 12.8x crit mult.  Granted, its not a terribly good build, and its not even remotely close to as high as you can get it, but still....

I think DE needs to put the brakes on all the power creep.

Yeah, you tested on the worst kind of enemy. Most Corpus weaponsdo puncture damage, which means they were the Tech was doing bonus damage to you cause of the Ferrite armor.

I did it with them cuz I know they do alot of dmg.  I wanted to do it against a unit that would actually move my health bar.

I think if I do it again, ill do it against a Grineer Sniper chick, though I think imma have to go peeping tom them and get them in my simulacrum first...then I can actually see the difference, with hopefully high, single shot bursts of damage.

  17. 4 minutes ago, (XB1)Skiller115 said:

Because we have barely any armor compared to the AI. You only have 1108 armor with your setup while a level 100 corrupted heavy gunner has 7,332.33 of it! Also the supera is mostly puncture which ignores 25% of Ferrite Armor and does 25% more damage to it.

    https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Corrupted_Heavy_Gunner

My normal setup is 508 from Oberons dance floor, 600 from Arcane and 225, thats a bit more than 1108. Steelfiber is another 110%.

That's a nice start. But what we're saying is that you need to work on all of the schools and if you dump the focus into all of the right places you will notice vast improvement across the board. You need a LOT of focus.

What you have right now is like a monitor that only shows green. It's giving you something, but it's not anything close to the full picture.

He's referring to them by tier for each part instead of name.

You can't upgrade your amps other than gliding. Chipputer is correct that you can technically use a 111 amp which is a huge improvement over the mote, and a 222 is an even better option (which you should have available to you at this point) but the 223 used to be widely preferred to either one and requires a part one level higher than where you are now.

If you have any amp at all, just tag along in some public eidolon hunts. A good high rad sniper rifle will help you to contribute once the shields go down, and in a single "night" you can often get several days worth of stuff to turn in for standing. (Not to mention possibly a lot of potential focus....)

Good luck and good hunting, Tenno.

When the Eidolons shields go down and Facemask McTalksalot says "Energy spike, run!!" thats when we can shoot it with regular weapons?

Eidolon fights dont make much sense to me.  I just shoot it in the bulging grill looking spots where the biceps and thighs are on a human.   That between shooting all the little Vomvalysts, and respawning my kid cuz the Eidolons should be reported for child abuse.

And why have I heard that Oberon and his magic carpet is a good frame for Eidolon hunting?  What does his magic carpet do?  And how dang many lures do we need and what do they actually do?  Where hte crap is the instruction manual on Eidolon hunting?  Or what most the crap in POE does....

  19. Armor.....that is a video id love to see an indepth video showing the different levels of damage based on armor amounts.

I dont see armor as doing jack diddly.  I ran a real basic test of my own in the Simulacrum, though it didnt go as well, because I couldnt fit the mods in.

I took my Oberon Prime, who has 225 armor, then put on Steel Fiber, then my 508 points of  buff armor and then an Arcane Guardians +600 armor and I let a Lvl 50 Corpus Supra gunner shoot me, and he basically dropped me in a matter of seconds, I barely noticed any difference between just 225 armor with nothing and 225 with all those armor buffs.

This game follows the vein that most seem to anymore:  Either the enemy cant hurt you and you basically cant die, or you get 1 shot.  I find that to be oh so true with this game.  There isnt really a gradual increase. Its tickle, tickle, tickle, tickle, tickle, then suddenly after 30 minutes of fighting Grineer, it goes from 5 dmg 5 dmg 5 dmg, 20 dmg from a bombard, to 400 dmg 400 dmg 400 dmg 400 dmg 1500 from a bombard.

Is this is your forum submission?

Forum submission?  Did I enter a sweep stakes?  But yes, it is.  Id love to see enemies become far more enjoyable and actually somewhat of a challenge to fight, through use of their own abilities and use of tactics.  Plus a return to US being forced to use brains, rather than stand in the middle of a hallway, ADS'd shooting enemies as they brainlessly round corners like complete turds....this game is literally no harder than Men of War editor, where I spam spawn 2,000 enemies and then surround them with tanks and shoot them all dead......

    Focus ≠ Quills standing.

Craft or trade for some lenses put them on your favourite gear, and just touch the glowing orbs when they're around. Every so often go spend the focus on whatever you want.

Ive done that, ive got a couple million Focus that ive spent, though its in 2 focus schools cuz the descriptions for focus was a LIE when I first chose mine when it was first introduced.

I chose Uniaru initially cuz it read as being the 'Defensive" school, to outlast your enemy, so I chose it thinking it would give me things like some mild health regen, or extra armor(which is about the only defensive thing it did).  Beyond that it was the "petrification" tree.  IDK what it is now, but its still pretty useless.  Id love to take all the focus I have in that school and put it in Madaurai which is the one I have now cuz it gives me a decent amount of passive +Dmg.

    43 minutes ago, -AS-Delimit said:

That's a focus issue, not a Quills issue.  (You also don't need to get rank 5 to upgrade your amp - you can use a 223 amp and be successful)

223 amp?  That literally means nothing to me lol. The only thing that comes to mind when I see 223 is a WWII German scout car and an M-16 or AR-15.

I looked at the different recipes, we need to be atleast rank 4 to get all the pieces.  If I can upgrade the base AMP, I sure as tits dont know how.  I talked to Quills, ive played lego with the different options in the Quills guy window and idk what im doing with it.  I got a couple of blueprints as rewards, im rank 2 with the guy now....I was reading the descriptions of the parts, I was putting together what I thought was an "LMG" type amp, it had like 100 rounds of ammo, 30% Crit chance and the like.....but I dont have the recipes.  I think I started to build one of the pieces I do have, a brace or something.

Okay so how many time this happened to you: "jezus pork buting christ 1 cant take no more of this grind a repetitiveness"

Well you are not alone a bunch of tenno like you are feeling burned-out  and it can be avoided slash rectified

    1)To avoid burnout

a)When you are playing warframe, remember, we have mission variation for a reason, so u don`t get bored, with that said make sure that you play a variety of missions

b)Don`t grind for too long, constant grinding can take the toll on any tenno heed my words,

how many ballisticca or whtvr prime limbs turns a man alcoholic? 35

    2)To cure burnout

a)Play something else, this is not a cliche answer it is the solution, and only comeback if you want to.

b)Don`t think about warframe, how many times you got tired of it, and 5 mins later u wanted to play again only to realize that u don`t actually want to play it and u just got in this constant limbo of love-hate relationship w/ warframe.

c)Content Drought, it exists make sure that u tell DE what u want, bc if we don`t communicate then we won`t have a change

    t

I get burnt out on this game regardless of mission type, since they are all largely the same.  Go in, shoot a bunch of braindead zombie enemies, repeat until I fall asleep at the keyboard.
