Then maybe they should change how defense rounds work, since waiting around for mind control or parasitic to wear off in order to go to the next round is kinda dumb.

I really want to use my kavat, but vacuum saves me so much time! It really should be built-in somehow. EVEN IF vacuum was available when running a kavat/kubrow, it would still be a trade-off of not getting Guardian/Medi-Ray heals. In other words, I find vacuum essential, and at the same time there are plenty of trade-off factors with choosing companions.

In the simulacrum I am no longer being respawned on death, simply stuck on the floor with no option to revive or do anything.

When I got my orvius I realized that (just like all thrown weapons) it gets completely folded up so as not to be visible when sheathed. Shouldn't we be able to sheathe it visibly on our backs like Teshin? Cause that's the imagery I was looking forward to. In the very least having it visible and unfolded under our arms, like it used to be before the change, would be welcome. We have all sorts of sheathing options for other melee but not for glaives!

So I lost credits due to being disconnected from host immediately upon the match starting (and the mission simply ending). I haven't gotten the credits refunded, even after restarting the client! :( I haven't even had enough to do another attempt yet (yeah I'm that credit poor).

Had this happen too, though I didn't see whether one fell. I'm alt-tabbed, been waiting 5+ minutes checking each corner and the entire floor, no bursas. Razorback has like 10% hp left, so I feel like I completely wasted my time since I came this far to simply not be able to complete it.

I was fighting, and downed, the acolyte Violence, however I was unable to use any abilities -warframe nor focus- well into the mission. Being downed and revived, I still could not cast abilities. However, dying then reviving myself, did reset/wipe the debuff finally.

So should I /not/ forma anything I have a greater lens on? I.. need to forma stuff but I don't wanna lose plat. It would also be a shame to lose out on my affinity booster just because I'd trigger a lens-degrade if I made use of it.

Is the Hema to expensive, or were past research items in general to cheap?

I don't think the two cases in OP are mutually exclusive. There could be an argument made for prior research being too cheap, yet at the same time, the Hema cost is like a magnitude off. In other words it's all a matter of degree and there's a lot of room in between those.
I have 300 samples after a couple years. Other members have far less than that. Something like 500 is doable but would either deplete people's stocks, or require only some farming. The current Hema cost on the other hand is far out of reach. Without a doubt, a better use of my time would be to farm prime parts to sell, and buy the thing for plat.
