  1. Just do not touch the enemies that are captured by the dome. These enemies generate aggression, which is good for defense. Just let Khora do its job with this and kill enemy with whip. Dome will kill enemies on a small level on its own. At a high level, protection will not hurt. And if Khora is not good, this is the same thing as the person who takes the slowing nova against level 5.

By the way, if the opponent is captured by 1 control, you cannot use another. This is the mechanics of the game and very few things ignore it.

im with you here. this is why i said it was a bit messed up protea got something titania would have benefited from. dispensary is amazing.

Yes, I agree with that. If we had a dispenser, we would be strong. On the other hand, even if Titania isn't revised any time soon, I think we could get something like this with a Tribute augment. There really is a place for it.

only alternative i would find acceptable is to give extra keybindings for them. im not into busy work in a game that is already filled to the brim with chores. it isnt excusable that they pile drive frames with more abilities than they should have just to give the illusion of interactivity.

This may be a problem for console players. This we have 105 keys on the keyboard and 3-7 keys on the mouse, but they don't have this. Therefore, DE have to get out of this situation. But again, I don't mind getting a simple but effective skill without a wheel, and I don't mind good mechanics for a wheel. But now it looks just awful and not as much fun as Ivara arrows or Wisp buffs. This literally annoys me because it's actually 7 button clicks for the sake of 4 knockdowns and 4 buffs that are meh in themselves, except for Thorns, although if they didn't add DR, Thorns is meh too. There was a suggestion above about getting a random buff instead of a wheel, but I'm afraid of it only because buffs are not equally strong and useful. At the same time, I don't mind a strong random buff, even if we can only use 1 of them at the same time and 2 buff will exclude the first one.

i think its a bit messed up that they turned tribute into busy work, then released protea with dispensary. they could have easily changed tribute to this. the worst part of titanias kit imo is how clunky they've made tribute. not saying other parts couldnt be improved but ability wheel garbage needs to go.

I can say here again that this is due to what bad mechanics tribute has. I have already spoken above about Wisp, Vauban and Ivara. They could leave the wheel, but change the mechanics of the Tribute so that it is really convenient or makes some sense, and then improve the system of the wheel itself for all frames. Or at least provide an alternative wheel control system so that we can play on the new system, but those who like the wheel now could enable the old system in the settings.

I just really think that a combo system where we press an ability and then press 1-4 for a certain period of time to select an effect would be more appropriate.

  5. @nooneyouknow13 Yes, you are right. Now, the sentients really don't adapt the way they used to, and it's much better for Dex Pixia. But I can still point out that you still need a good build just to compete with normal weapons. You use the razorwing blitz, I abuse the arcane avenger. At the same time, any frame with adequate protection can take a good weapon and be at the same level. And I think that's a problem. Why can't I take a normal weapon and be better if I use an ability, a special build, and spend my energy on it? And Yes, also Adarza Kavat is a thing that raises the group's damage and that we can't use. But this is a companion problem for which I have no solution.

But Yes, I am now confident that I can use Titania in a new war. Here is the test record.

    I liked her old tribute

maybe instead of the choose which buff u get and holding the button on an enemy (they move alot and it feels clunky), its just a tap again and u get a random buff that u dont have yet

and if u have all the buffs, then it drops whichever one is on the lowest duration at the moment so its like a quick refresh!

i hate the current cycle wheel thingy for it rn

Unfortunately, this looks like a less flexible system where you never know how much energy you will spend to get the desired buff. This would be fine if buffs were equivalently strong, but right now 1 is super useful, while the others are meh. I just think they need a system that really justifies the wheel. I understand that some people might disagree, but it really works well for me on Khora/WIsp/voban/Ivara. But OK, I can't really say this about Khora, but I think it works well for these three.

I'm sorry to say, but that's a you problem. Brachiolysts provided for easy Arcane Pistoleer uptime, and Blitz'd Dex Pixia break half a million dps. As long as you were modding for corrosive to deal with their ferrite armor, you should have had no problems at all mowing things down. Especially since being in Razorwing doesn't block transference anymore, and you could have easily reset the adaptations on the higher level ones.

Just try. This really looks bad, compared to you taking a couple of shots from Redeemer without using an operator. There are a lot of weapons that are really good against sentients, but the problem is that they are mostly slow weapons, while Dex Pixia is a fast weapon that causes rapid adaptation.

  7. 2 minutes ago, Richeatue said:
Yea Dex Pixie is extremely bad against sentients, possibly one of the worst exhaled against them even. I tried them in SS against level 100+ enemies, couldn't even kill one. Also, I'm surprised you run her in arbis well, since she can't damage drones at all in razorwing.

I just use razorwing as a means of protecting and killing single targets, but I also use Aero Vantage to stay in the air and shoot large groups and drones, or when energy runs out, because I use equilibrium, since for some reason arcane energyze doesn't work well after level 200. I know that equilibrium sounds strange for Titania, but it's really the kind of thing that helps to quickly replenish energy. The new mod is very specific and there is now a Protea specter, so I gave it up, although it helps a lot.

  8. 5 minutes ago, Richeatue said:

Titania is fine atm, the only thing she could use is a change to how her exhaled melee works, but that would require DE to rework archwing melee altogether so I don't think that'll be happening any time soon.

To be honest, I really don't think people will use Divata because it will be weak due to how all Exalted melee is weak now. I mean, even if given that I hate Dex Pixia, I still won't use Divata for the reason that it only does what Dex Pixia does, but Dex Pixia is a range weapon. Although, it is possible that Divata could be a good critical weapon and could be useful where a large crit DPS is needed, which Dex Pixia cannot provide.

On the other hand, as it turns out, Titania is fine, because razorwing exists and if you mentally remove it, you will find a lot of problems with the fact that you will feel like Inaros, only without a huge hp. And then there is the problem that Titania will not work where razorwing does not work, but any frame with a personal weapon and good protection works. I was very surprised to find that the DPS Dex Pixie is very slow to kill a Sentient when my normal weapon does it in a couple of shots. And this scares me in the sense that Titania may be useless in the missions of the new war. Well, it's about the same as it is now with arbitrages. I can go to arbitrage and get to level 500, but this is not because Titania works, but because it can actually be done on any frame now, you know, shieldgate.

Well, there are bugs with QoL. Disconnecting from the game is not a good thing. At the very least, we could resurrect our allies without using an operator or getting out of razorwing, because this is literally not a painful thing for archwing to do.

  9. Just now, Caidezes said:
Not playing right now, but her default Razorwing speed never seemed that crazy to me. Certainly not faster than Gauss. Maybe it's because I don't play her without the augment anymore.

I will tell you a little theory about the archwing change. Previously, archwing had 3 types of speed. Standard. Shift. Shift + space. Titania had only two types of speed - Standard and Shift. DE decided to abandon 3 types of speed on normal archwing, leaving the standard speed, but making shift faster and removing shift + space. But since Titania didn't have shift + space, it just got a shift speed buff. This is one of the reasons why razorwing blitz is unplayable now. It's just too much speed.

  10. But, again, speed is not so important in this game. It's just in the minds of those who are constantly trying to pass something quickly in order to save time, although it's pointless because we play games to waste time.

  11. 2 minutes ago, Caidezes said:
Said fairy requires a special mod to be fast. The rest can do it naturally.

Check it. I think Titania with shift without mods can quite compete with Gauss without mods. Remember, archwing got a new control scheme.

  12. Guys. You seem to be starting to forget that all these frames are slow turtles compared to a fairy. Now let's ask ourselves, is it really just speed that should affect the popularity of the frame? I mean, most people don't even worry about speedrun. At the same time, Volt and Gauss are quite different frames. And I prefer volt, because it will also make my party hurry up. And it also has a very positive effect on allied AI.

  13. I'll tell you one thing, all archwings are useless because there are literally no missions where they could be important. It doesn't even matter if you use Amesha on realjeck or not, because shield gate now exists.

On the other hand, the old archwings will not exist in the future, because they will be completely replaced by modular archwings.

I think 25% starting point for entangle is fine, assuming it's modable. If it's not modable, I'd set it at 40%. Titania's kit is already very strong overall.

Honestly, Thorns aside I wouldn't mind the auras all being thrown in the trash. But people like the idea of them, so my suggestion was a way to keep them without cycling through Tribute. I want to make tribute a pickpocket skill, because fae are known for stealing shiny objects as much as stealing away children, and I like the idea for the queen of the fae forcing mortals to pay her tribute.

In fact, I would have been happy with the old Tribute, where you got a buff depending on the enemy, which you had to fold 5 times if the buff were useful. This is literally the only reason why I don't want to touch this button outside of 50% DR.

Stealing items may be a good thing. Even if the farmer's abilities are removed in the future, we might well leave it to steal health, energy, and ammo, maybe even shields, armor or damage (because the infected have damage now) Maybe this would be a good mechanic where you use tribute to steal something and then use spellbind to spread it to your allies. Although this is more like what Grendel could do.

However, this will take us back to the mechanics with mob types, because you can't get shields from greneer, of course, unless it's all twisted so that greneer use their shields in soul and heart.

  15. 49 minutes ago, chaotea said:

Your not the centre though, you can, under your suggestion place 3, and maybe carry one.

Wouldn't wisps motes be over powered if they gave all 3 of her types in one mote?

My alternate suggestion would be a single lantern that has a small radius and gives 1 of these buffs randomally with a duration. Recasting applies another buff and refreshes the duration. It can be carried. Enemies dieing in its AoE gives it more range, and adds a small amount of duration.

I don't mind if it's one big buff on a Lantern with a small range (for example, 7 meters) and with the ability to install 3-4 lanterns for your allies for stationary missions like interception. Maybe this makes more sense, since your mobility and team coordination will play a bigger role.

I'm overall extremely happy with Titania now. So I'm going to toss in my suggestions to what I'd like to see happen now:

    • Dust - No change to functionality, this aura is activated for 2 minutes upon casting Spellbind
    • Thorns - No change to functionality, this aura is activated for 2 minutes upon casting Tribute
    • Entangle - Now slows action speed instead of just movement speed. Slow scales with power strength. Activated for 2 minutes upon casting Lantern
    • Full Moon - Companion Damage bonus now scales with power strength. Aura is active during Razorwing, and for 2 minutes after exiting Razorwing

Tribute - No change to actual skill. Souls collected now provide 1 item off the enemies drop table, just like Ivara's pickpocketing. Also creates one Razorfly, up to a maximum of 10, even if you aren't in Razorwing.

Razorwing - Heavy Weapons can be used in Razorwing with full animations, even if not the host.

New Razorwing Augment - Shrink Weapon: Titania's Primary and Secondary weapons shrink with her, and can now be used in Razorwing. Weapons gain a 5/10/15/20% base damage increase. Cannot be used with Razorwing Blitz

I only support the suggestions for augmentations for conventional weapons, but I don't really like the idea of distributing auras according to different abilities.

The fact is that Titania almost always looked as if we were being forced to use our abilities for something other than the effect of the ability. Razorwing blitz for example, where we use spellbind not because spellbind is good, but because we need stacks. Now a new augment for spellbind, which again forces us to use spellbind not because it is good, but to get energy. This is not very good in my opinion.

Entangle - again, 25% is too low. I would prefer a cold pack instead, because it won't look too strong, but will be very useful, especially if razorfly gets the setup and will distribute it.

Full Moon - I think the main problem with companions is their survival rate. At the moment, only dogs have good damage.

As for pickups, I think it will be good. But there is another opinion that such abilities should be removed from the game, so as not to force people to play for farm frames that they do not want.

  16. On the contrary, I would like it to have the mechanics of ammunition instead of duration. I think that even if it fires 40 shots in 3 seconds it will be OK if it acts indefinitely as long as there are no enemies nearby, which will allow me to be away for a while .

total immunity is just so boring, I actually am totally in love with titania for her unique layers of defense that allow for SOME damage to be taken but avoid most of it. I dont know how you play, but I almost NEVER get hit.. I tried to use hunter adrenaline (just for fun to see if I get any energy from it..) and I most certainly did not.. you get hit SO rarely that I really dont see any reason to complain.. and I DO see and feel the effects of the accuracy reduction

and I dont think aviator is a good mod generally, BUT on titania it shines and I do consider it part of her kit, as she makes the most and best use out of it from any frame.

No, I don't want full immunity, especially since there is a shield gate now. That's why I'm offering this whole counter idea to encourage people who don't take any damage at all, because I like the idea of Titania as an evasion tank that tries to stay away from damage rather than getting it in the face.

On the other hand, a lot of people think they don't take damage because of the small HitBox, evasion, and reduced accuracy, but I got to level 500 and I can say that it's all due to razorfly. They are really strong because of the generation of aggression and sometimes when they kiss the walls, the opponents can't kill them and their AI breaks, as if you hid Loki decoy.

    15 minutes ago, SmokinDice said:

I dont know.. she is everything anyone could wish for honestly..

I won't convince you otherwise, it's good if you like the frame. The main thing is that it doesn't become useless in new content somewhere in the future.

I could be wrong. And I was really wrong about Titania about the fact that it would be useless for realjeck. Titania is really the frame I'm doing realtek missions for, because she's really the best boarder here. But I still get the Lantern error when mobs just ignore it kill me so I have to use the operator to hack the console. Although this is not a problem now, because the big reiljeck gun is in the meta, but it's still not very nice.

  18. 4 minutes ago, Birdframe_Prime said:

    Well... there's your problem.

I'm approaching this entire thing with only one thing clear in mind; archwing, unless you do everything that Titania does to compensate directly for its down-sides, is bad mobility.

You can't use archwing in regular missions without shrinking down. You can't shrink down and use regular weapons because those weapons often have direct exploits at that scale (I mean, even the Convectrix and Phage would be reasonably good if you could get them to headshot as easily as that...), so you have to have weapons that DE can balance independently of that system. The weapons have to be summoned and powerful enough to compete with regular weapons, while conforming to DE's rules, so they have to have a Drain attached to them.

You can see how the progression of thought goes.

Archwing, without shrinking, just doesn't work because the entire world of Warframe has doors, corridors and ceilings, often without direct line of sight to the other side of a room. Shrinking causes the other problems that come from Razorwing, they are the literal cost of it.

In fact, I would like to run a few tests with this to see if it will really be a problem, because Yes, I agree that it might be broken, but on the other hand, I think it might work a little differently in the game.

On the other hand, I would not mind if it was even just a normal archwing weapon, because it should not have such problems, since it is originally designed to fight with large targets. plus, at the moment we have very few archwing weapons, so they could balance it for razorwing Titania. It would be at least a bit of variety, but, archwing weapons don't have a sniper rifle I'm sad about it, but I would be fine with it, just expecting something similar in the future.

As for the other abilities, Yes, I would like them to be more useful than they are now.

    - 50% dodge chance

    - -50% enemy hit chance

50% evasion only has razorwing and at the moment I can't confirm that it works.

If it is a Tribute, it does not give 50% evasion or -50% chance that the opponent will miss. This gives a reduction in accuracy. If the enemy shoots at you close, they will not miss. If the enemy has a high-precision weapon, in most cases it will not miss. If the enemy has a homing weapon, it will not miss. The Aviator is not part of this. For me, this is just the protection that is given with mods, like armor. You basically don't need to play as Titania to use the Aviator, because it can be useful on any frame if you have an aimglide hold.

Again, this is about how its buffs work and why it is not in the place of good buffers.

    19 minutes ago, SmokinDice said:

THEN you can expand on that with mods by using:

    - aerodynamics aura for 24% dr

    - aviator for 40% dr

    -adaptation for another 90% dr

I advise you not to use adaptation. 24% of the aerodynamics, 40% of the Aviator and 25% of the passive DR from the shields make 89% of the DR for the shields. I don't think Titania is good for health tank.

    20 minutes ago, SmokinDice said:

yes, if this where not the case, then the game would have a huge problem right? weapons should ALWAYS be better then exalted weapons.. exalted weapons provide an easy access to high end damage. but they cant be the end all be all.

thats why we had exalted blade been nerfed in the past.

this is warframe, small numbers differences do not matter.

This is really the most interesting argument I've heard. Maybe you're right about that.

    24 minutes ago, SmokinDice said:

self sufficient means that she does not need help from a team or from items or operator.. you can just hop into a mission and start doing what you are doing, you dont need extra energy, protection or anything else.. she can do any content by herself.

About self sufficient, depending on the situation. I think Titania can't be self-sufficient on arbitrages. On the other hand, self-sufficiency may conflict with the RPG component, and this may be a problem for many players. You got Titania, you made a build only with mods and arcanes, you passed the game, you don't need anything else.

    24 minutes ago, SmokinDice said:

power and class fantasy is the core concept of this game. you want a warframe to have a clear theme, a clear direction. TItania is a fairy bug, she turns enemys into stupid moth that fly towards the light, and swooshs through the air like a little insect really annoying to hit for the enemy (as is the fly in your room) and while doing this she FEELS powerful and REWARDING to play.. and this is the most importnant part for any warframe, and she does a excellent job at this.

The fantasy of power, fairies have a lot of concepts. For this reason, I can't tell what concept Titania is sticking to, because I'm looking at razorwing, which is a plot where fairies are forest spirits without magic who use animals and plants as intruders. On the other hand, I see a different concept where an Tribute is something that is a useless gift that fairies usually give in a different concept. But I would like it to be used against enemies, not against allies, as strange as it sounds.

I mean, sure... They're no Peace Makers but seriously, what in the game is? The only issue I have is things that are WF power immune are... Also immune to her Dex Pixia for some utterly retarded reason. I've only run into this once though on a Lua capture mission when the target is the nullifier guy. For some reason I couldnt hurt him with the Dex Pixia despite that I can collapse their shields.

There are two reasons why I fight for conventional weapons.

The first is that Dex PIxia is less useful in some places. And I can say that ESO and arbitrages are places where I would like to use a normal weapon, because it would help me a lot. And I ran into this problem on the scarlet lance, where the actual couldn't do anything with this big DPS when I had a large selection of normal weapons that make it easier. (300% strength + razorwing blitz dual nothing against normal gans, btw). But this may be the problem of missions, not Titania. I can admit it.

The second point is the mechanics of weapons. Everyone says that Titania is fun and I can't disagree with that, but I can't play razorwing build anymore because of how tired I am of Dex PIxia and how much I would like to use even less effective but more fun weapons like the sniper rifles or shotguns that birdman mentioned. I can admit that this is my problem. I can admit that maybe Titania might have a different build, but no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't do something that would be fun without razorwing, compared to a different frame. Yes, it's a whim, but I think it's also the reason why people prefer Wukong more than Titania.

I really don't mind if they released some augment for razorwing, where we would get mechanics that would allow us to give up mods for energy efficiency and disable Dex Pixia (even without the ability to turn it on on missions, I don't care, because if I want to play for Dex Pixia, I'll just take a different build), just fix the Lantern, where the opponents would not break out of control, create better control for spellbind, and at least replace full moon and entangle on something more substantial. It would be great and I would be happy with such minor changes, because now I can really be a good CC, people will love my buffs and I won't feel bad about the gun restrictions. But here as in the market, I ask for more and will be happy if at least some of it will be available in the game. For example, entangle gives cold prock. It's just a lot more useful than it is now.

But it can be so hard to actually explain it in a way that gets through to the people that just say 'but we have Umbral Health, why not Umbral Shields?'.
