  1. ...and that is your first post? Are you greedy or something? Loki is not even vaulted yet, and you are already in a hurry to know next one? Are you that desperate for plat? :P

Seriously, it is several months away. It doesn't really make much of a difference what you "farm" for now. The rumours will start about a month in advance anyway, giving you plenty of time.

  2. I'd just say even the distilling Extractors produce way too much detonites, mutagens and fieldrons, from 4 possible results. I would rather even take nanospores and ferrite than those.

Sure, the "rare" resource can stay rare, but it would be nice to not get completely useless junk every time.

A cat could skin a person. A dog could rip out a person's throat. Yet in modern days (through centuries of domestication) people don't associate them with fear because most people have no reason to.

Well, there is still one thing mankind just flees from in terror.

Actually, that would scare most of the players too. Maybe not.

A frame based on HER? ... well, she did essentially create a Shadow Demon, so... YES.

Well, there is nothing quite so scary than the flickering lights, and then darkness, and complete, dead silence. Or is it the darkness? Or is it what we can't see?

How about a mother frame that have her powers created around mothering everything around her?

A helicopter parent? D: NOOOOOOOOOO! *flees in terror*

Hmm... How about a warframe based on a magical odd-toed ungulate that has the power to create nightmares? That should be absolutely terrifying. ;)

But if I may input my 2 bits, let's just say that to me it seems DE has always struggled with balancing the content. What I have seen their balance changes keep alternating between making weapons/frames/enemies either "complete and utter garbage" or "OMGWTFBBQKTHXBAI OP!!!111". I think DE should try making gradual adjustments to the content and fine-tune it instead of making massive, game-changing changes that just feel like completely arbitrary and exaggerated knee-jerk reactions to realising they just broke something. But that is just my opinion in the matter.

that part is very rare......just buy it

Are the parts tradable then? I don't think they are, but I might be wrong.

Anyway, I got my receiver long before the barrel. But what really shocked me was how terrible some public players are at archwing. Basically I was doing the mission with a practically unmodded Odonata, nearly unmodded Imperator and nearly unmodded Veritux and I end up with nearly 75% of the damage somehow, even though the random pugs I was with activated the Disruptor when I was still outside the Fomorian.

    What does that mean?

Are you talking about endless missions?  If so, then it's working as intended; damage is becoming excessive in order to to pressure you to extract.

The problem comes when level 70+ becomes accepted as a standard of normal gameplay, leading to a stale slog of non-gameplay where we just cheat with excessively powerful weapons and exploitable powers instead of playing an exciting action game with at least the illusion of a challenge.

I do agree that the excessive damage encourages "cheesing" all the content. That is why I said that the Sapping Osprey sapper mechanics and the effect indicator need some tweaks, in other words turning it to either "Ow ow hot hot! The floor is lava!" or "It hurts inside the damage bubble, stay out!". And I did also say their damage should be capped to a level where it will not be instagibbing everything. Their fire rate should also be capped to have a cooldown between bombs. But if they won't nerf anything,  I'd be happy with just turning them into proximity mines that explode when entering the circle and disappear after that. Then you could at least have a chance to go revive the rest of your team who just "lemming-trained" into one while you were still loading into mission. Because it seems no-one ever focuses their fire on the sapper bombs when they are downed by one...

  8. A suggestion that I have been thinking about for a while now.

Give us a Hand Grenade or a Flashbang consumable so that we can make them in the Foundry. Give us a use for those thousands of Mutagen Samples, Fieldron Samples and Detonite Ampules we have laying around in our inventories. These new Grenades should be Clan Research only and have a reasonable Mastery Requirement.

Bio Lab: Toxic Gas Grenade (Toxin damage, 100% status) using Mutagen Samples in construction.
Chem Lab: Incendiary Grenade (Fire Damage, 100% status) using Detonite Ampules.
Energy Lab: Stun Grenade (Electric Damage, 100% status) using Fieldron Samples.
Tenno Labs could have a Smoke Bomb/Flashbang that blinds enemies for a short duration in a small radius but deals no damage.

Maybe make it possible to upgrade into different elemental combinations (Corrosive, Blast, Magnetic) later on by improving the original Blueprints and adding some Cryotic into building materials?

These would be equipped and accessed from Gear just like a Codex scanner and could be used as proximity mines (hold down aim while clicking mouse button/Primary fire) or thrown like conventional grenades that explode after a delay (4 seconds, can be "cooked" by holding down mouse) or on impact using mouse click/primary fire.

These would have some utility and they would augment our firepower at a material and a credit cost.

  9. I wouldn't say the 70+ level is unreasonable, it is the level when you need to start thinking about risk vs. reward.

But about Sapping Osprey mines, I do agree they are a little bit ridiculous at high levels, and there should be some changes in their mechanics. I'd be happy with their AOE ring effecting the ground inside the ring. If they are really meant to cause damage midair then I would like to see a "bubble" to show us the effect volume so that we know to avoid it. And most definitely I would like to see their ridiculous instakill damage capped so that it won't instagib everything in a sortie. The squishier frames have the same right to play the Sorties as the "Press a key for permanent invulnerability" frames. In fact, I'd like to see more variety in the sorties but that is often not possible due to damage and armour scaling rendering many frames useless, leaving only a handful to choose from.

  10. Too late  乁( ◔ ౪◔)ㄏ

But in all seriousness, I hope  DE will make sure they won't give the control of the game to a third party.(Think of what happened to Everquest games and Firefall, Those two have been unmitigated disasters, but in latter one the devs were mostly to blame *cough-spent-millions-of-dollars-of-backers-money-on-a-party-bus-cough*.).

  11. Lvl 80-100 Corpus Excavation, Excavate 1000 Cryotic, Eximus stronghold.

It took me several tries and several hours to complete this, but my squadmates were ragequitting left and right and center. Then I finally got a squad that co-operated and was able to beat it.

I really think I deserve something better than 25 cores.

The level of difficulty of this sortie mission was way disproportionate to the final reward of 25 cores. I put a lot of time and effort to plow trough the flood combas, bursas, sapping ospreys, mine ospreys, nullifiers and the eximus variants of every Corpus unit imaginable and defending an excavator so flimsy it might as well be made of 1-ply toilet paper, only to be rewarded with some credits and cores I don't really have use for... Needless to say I was quite disappointed.

My little face when I saw my reward:

I feel you.  When I read serious posts about people doing stealth runs without Loki or Ash, I know they're liars.

I have done it with some of my frames, just for the lulz. It is not hard to stealth trough the mission if you keep your eyes and ears open and take your time advancing. Wait for an enemy to turn their backs to each other and walk away long enough distance before taking them out one by one. If you can't kill an enemy without alarming the rest of the group, avoid it. Sometimes alarming the group is unavoidable and you lose your stealth multiplier but it is not the end of the world. You can always regain and recover. A non-invisible stealth player has to know his frame and abilities. Excalibur Radial Blind for example does not alert enemies but blinds them so you can pass or stealth-execute them. A player with some intelligence and patience will adapt to his surroundings and find a way to outwit his enemies. In other words, it takes skill. But this takes a lot of practise and discipline.

Also, equip Enemy Sense, Enemy Radar or Stealth Drift, REMOVE your kubrow or sentinel (because both are dumases who will alert the whole world) and equip a one-shot capable silent weapon. Presto, you can stealth with or without invisibility.

You don't actually need to remove your sentinel. You can have your carrier or shade with you without any problems if you take its weapon out and still get their utility benefits. I have not tried Huras Kubrow but I would assume it can still be useful if you remove your attack mods and only leave Prowl on.

  13. I completed Ivara alert once, progress didn't save, got logged out and back to login screen.

Logged in again, started the Ivara helmet alert with 3 minutes on the clock. Had a host migration 5 waves in, but it timed out and I got booted to login.

Now I can't log in anymore.

Could you please stop renting your server capacity form third parties and invest into some proper infrastructure please? Or figure out how to increase bandwidth or defend yourselves from DDoS attacks. This is just getting completely ridiculous now. This really has a negative impact on our gaming experience.

I can almost guarantee that this has something to do with Baro appearing soon

     DINGDINGDING we have a winner!
