  1. Achievements systems were suggested a few times already - I even created a thread about it myself. Although I think that Steam exclusive achievements  would be discriminating - an in-game system that could be projected to Steam account would be much more appealing IMHO.

  2. This topic showed up a few times already. Once a player even made some interesting designs. Back to the point - it is surely needed feature: summary screen should show gathered materials and picked-up blueprint. Also some slider would be nice because currently amount of displayed pick-ups is limited.

    Stealthy warframe is already covered by Loki and (supposedly) Banshee.

    I'm not much of fan when it comes to water-themed or earth-themed warframe simply because warframes are not sorcerers - they suppose to control environment not create conditions out of the blue and there is not much water or earth to control on spaceships (although there are open sources of water/earth in asteroid/planet outpost tile sets).

  4. I finished my Mag a few days ago so I'm still getting used to it but I think that main problem is that people would like to see Mag as a offensive caster while she is rather support-oriented. Still a creative player can make use out of all of her abilities even Pull (many thanks to all the Mags that pulled me out when i got stuck). Shield Polarize could be quite useful skill as far as it would be easier to use. And of course Death Combo is ultimate weapon of destruction sadly not every Excalibur and Mag knows it.

    Anyway: Brace yourselves, Mag remake is coming (in update 9).

  5. I totally agree that increasing ability pool to 6-8 frame-specific as well as adding universal ability pool would greatly increase customization possibilities. Actually incoming grappling hooks will most likely be universal power.

  6. Have you ever wander what is your Tenno doing while you're off-line? Well I did and I came up with idea of Activities.
     

    Activities would be a separate interface option that would allow you to pick one of many possible, well... activities. Each of them would have a varying success rate (partially based on player mastery rank) and require a certain amount of time. However timer would only go down while player is off-line. Of course only one activity could be selected at time. Those would include (but would not be limited to):
     

    - Mod Hunting - depending on chosen criteria and player mastery rank game would calculate success chance and required time. Player would be able to:

      - pick a specific mod  to look for (only from "known ones" i.e. player would need to find mod in conventional way first to be able to pick it) or mod rarity and/or type (warframe/primary/secondary/melee/sentinel) - this would mainly influence search time (searching for specific mod would require most time, rarity-based search would be proportional to selected rarity tier; additionally selecting desired type would increase required time however even searching for e.g. rare warframe mod would take less time then searching for Continuity; searching for a certain type only would take as long as searching for unspecified common mod).

      - choose a place for search (from unlocked missions) - this would greatly influence success chance as specific mods/mod types would be easier to find in certain places while location difficulty would affect rarity.
     

    - Resource Farming - player would pick specific resource (lower success chance) or its rarity (higher success chance) as well as location to search - matching resource type and locations would increase odds of success however certain locations would have higher chance for certain rarity tier.
     

    - Credits Farming - player would be able to choose search location solely - the higher location level the higher possible reward however the lower success chance at the same time. Players mastery rank would increase success probability.

     

    - Equipment Training - player would be able to pick weapon to train and location - based on this criteria game would reward player with affinity after finishing activity.

  7. Morphics are required for Cronus - that's why Vor drops them. IMHO the way to stop rushers would be by making all bosses like Jackal - inactive until ALL players enter boss room.

  8. Not bad at all. But the price should be steep. Not one Morphic, maybe BP from market that cost 100k.

    One quick suggestion maybe adamant skin can reflect x% of incoming damage. Sorta like a mirror or something.

    First of all - thank you for positive feedback.

    Secondly - the more I think of it the more I'm convinced that 1 Morphics is actually really low price. Making a special item that could be brought with Pt or crafted from high priced blueprint with resource requirements similar to Orokin Reactor/Orokin Catalyst/Forma would make evolved skills more elite and open another source of income for DE.

    And last but not least Bladed Skin already works sorta the way you suggested for Adamant Skin.

  9. Actually grappling hooks from last livestream were  defined as "universal mobility powers" so this could be right track.

    Now imagine that you could pick 4 out of 6 basic frame-specific abilities each with two possible evolutionary paths and alternatively some abilities from universal pool - now that's real customization heaven.

  10. The idea is to implement a new system called Morphing - basically it would allow to evolve Rank 3 ability mod in one of few possible ways at cost of 1 Morphics a specific item that could be:
    - brought for 20 Pt from market OR
    - crafted from a high priced blueprint available at market (e.g. 25k Cr for BP; 12h and 25k Cr to craft; resources required: 1 Morphics, 1 Gallium, 1 Control Module, 1 Orokin Cell)
    (Alternatively it could simply require Forma).

    Morphed ability would be returned to rank 0 and posses additional effect.

    Examples:
    ASH: Smoke Bomb

    Smoke Cloud - cloud of smoke created by basic ability now lasts <RANK> seconds. Players are invisible while within the cloud. Attacking or using abilities reveals them for 1 second.
     OR
    Blinding Bomb - cloud of smoke created by basic ability now lasts <RANK> seconds. Enemies within the cloud are blinded.

     

     

    EMBER: Overheat

     Hyperthermia - Embers powers deal <RANK>% more damage and her attacks are converted to fire damage while ability is active.

    OR

     Superheat - Ember absorbs <RANK>% fire damage [e.g. fire hazards and Grineer Scorch attack; up to 100% at rank 3] and converts it to Energy while ability is active.

     

     

    FROST: Freeze
     Blast Freeze - now explodes on hit slowing all enemies in <RANK> in-game metres radius around primary target.

    OR

     Deep Freeze - target can now suffer <RANK> damage before ability effect breaks. [currently Freeze breaks immediately after target receives damage]

     

    FROST: Ice Wave

     Ice Wall - ice crystals now remain in place, providing crystalline obstacle tat will last for <RANK> seconds or until <RANK> damage cap is reached. [enemies are moved aside]

    OR

     Ice Prison - enemies caught within ability are incapacitated for <RANK> seconds.  
     

     

    RHINO: Iron Skin [i'm not familiar with Iron Skin mechanics but:]
     Adamant Skin - All incoming damage is affected by <RANK>% of Rhinos armor while ability is active. [if Iron Skin receives 100% - like shields]
                             - Rhinos armor is increased by <RANK>% while ability is active. [if received damage is affected by armor]
    OR
     Bladed Skin - Rhino returns <RANK>% of received damage while ability is active.

    OR

     Adaptive Skin - if Rhino enters friendly stationary elemental effect [snow Globe, Fire Blast, Electric Shield] his skin becomes imbued and enemies will suffer <RANK> damage from corresponding element on each attack against Rhino for the remaining time of this ability. Only one element can be active at time.*

     

    TRINITY: Link

     Blessed Link - alternatively can target squad member. Damage suffered by target is spread even between all squad members.

    OR

     Sinister Link - instead of redirecting damage to single target now returns it as <RANK> in-game meters width area effect around Trinity.

     

    VOLT: Shock

     Circuit Shock - when aimed at closed locker ability have <RANK>% chance to open it. [only one try - in case of failure locker lights becomes grey to indicate that it's inactive]

    OR

     Chain Shock - on hit jumps to nearest enemy within <RANK> in-game metres. Affects <RANK> total targets.

    OR

     Neural Shock - additionally stuns organic targets for <RANK> sec.

     

    VOLT: Speed

     Acceleration - while ability is active Volt's fire rate is increased by <RANK>%.

    OR

     Rush - while ability is active Volt ignores unit collision. Every enemy that is passed through suffers <RANK> electric damage.
     

    VOLT: Electric Shield
     Electric Dome - ability effect now takes form of dome of <RANK> in-game metres radius. Additional every enemy that cross dome boundaries receives <RANK> electric damage.

    OR

     Charged Shield - every shot that passes through shield now explodes on impact dealing <RANK> electric damage to all targets in <RANK> in-game metres radius.

    Of course there could be more than two evolutionary paths for every ability. Passive components could be also permanent (although effect would be diminished) instead of activating along with ability (e.g. Adamant Skin granting increased armor as long as ability is equipped).
