  1. I played a significant amount of Conclave a few months ago to get the skins, and my opinion is that the game is at its best when you have a full server of people to play with, and it's genuinely fun to play.

Unfortunately, when you do manage to find a game, it's usually with the same group of players who have 200 hours on Conclave that can kill you 20-0, and that doesn't feel very good, especially when your standing gain is based on your K/D. The feeling that other players are winning because they have better mods than you is also pretty discouraging. This means that most players play one game of Conclave, get completely destroyed, then never touch the game mode again.

    - Conclave definitely needs a balance pass, and there are a few weapons that are just plain unfun to play against like the Ignis Wraith. Apparently Melee 3.0 broke some stuff too.

    - The Simulacrum needs a Conclave testing mode, since weapons and warframe abilities can vary significantly from the main game.

    - I feel that Mods shouldn't give power, and instead impact customization stuff like zoom levels. Getting one-shot because the enemy has Spring-Loaded Broadhead doesn't feel good. Also, I feel that players should have easier access to mods, and shouldn't have to grind for them.

    - There should also be a tutorial explaining features such as knockdown cooldowns, energy regeneration rates, and weapon sidegrades. The notion that Mk-1 weapons do more damage than their primed counterparts in Conclave is so backward that there's no way most players could figure it out without looking it up.

    - A server browser is needed so you can actually find populated games

    - Better rewards wouldn't hurt. Adding potatos to the Conclave store, or maybe have monthly missions that rewards your choice of a catalyst/reactor could get more people playing.

    - And finally, a Conclave event is needed to kickstart the Conclave playerbase. When I first joined the game, there was a conclave event where everyone only had a bow, and it was super fun. Everyone was on a level playing field, and every death felt fair because your killer had the same loadout as you, no mod advantage.

So far I can't stand the tedious murmur farming, especially the third tier.    I do feel this system does have potential though.

I kinda like it in theory. Having a delay on the third murmur unlock gives you a chance to figure out the last requiem yourself. Unfortunately, the only way to figure it out yourself is by hoping your lich shows up and brute forcing every combination. It would be nice if there a way to narrow down the possibilities other than brute forcing.

  3. The process of finding the requiem weakness is a bit grindy and monotonous. While building up a player's personal enemy should take time to make it feel like it's more than just another Grineer minion, I'd like a bit more variety as to how we can progress with finding the Lich's requiem weakness. I have a few ideas to make the grind a bit more interesting:

-Display feedback on all three requiem mod slots on a kill attempt instead of just the leftmost slot

-Display feedback on whether we have a correct mod in the wrong order by displaying it as yellow on the kill attempt

    - Give us more frequent but less impactful hints (i.e. There is no Fass Requiem mod in the solution, etc.)

             - Maybe minor hints can be gained from killing some sort of Thrall miniboss

-Give us murmurs by completing Kuva Lich node objectives

             - Also, it would be neat if the mission flavor text changed on kuva lich missions. For example, on spy missions you could be looking for data on the Lich's weakness, Capture could be going after a high ranking Thrall, Exterminate could be taking out the Lich's elite guard, etc.

    - Give us rare mission nodes with a high concentration of Thralls, or powerful Thralls with large amounts of Murmurs

    - Give some sort of completion bonus for clearing an entire planet of Lich influence (it could be a large amount of Murmurs, or a Requiem hint or something)

  4. This didn't happen to me personally, but it's possible to consume a Grendel mission key without getting the reward.

If the key user runs out of revives while the rest of the team completes the mission, the key user's key will be consumed and will not receive the Grendel part.

  5. Having a help request in the form of a linkable chat command sounds like a pretty good idea. It would also be neat if there was a color code signifying whether the group is full or not. That'll definitely help with situations when you want to form a group and get 10 PMs and you need to sort through them all.

gotta love how both this thread and the "stealing loot will be bad no matter what" thread exist on the same page at the same time.

Just goes to show that you can't please everyone.

I personally like the idea, letting the Lich take a bunch a loot that you usually don't care about, so you can break the piggy bank later and get a big payout.

So, just like void fissures are tracked? Sounds good, just an extra tab or two up top right.

Exactly what I was thinking. If a few new tabs clutter the UI too much, then just add a "custom" tab where the players can track what they want.

  8. With Kuva missions getting new functionality, it would be cool if we could get an alert list of active Kuva missions.

If we take this idea further, there could be a custom alerts tab where the player can choose to track kuva missions, nightmare missions, lich missions, etc.

  9. I feel like this, along with a Conclave-centric event/update, is needed to kickstart Conclave again. Conclave is pretty fun if you get matched with people around your skill level. Unfortunately, what usually happens is people join a match, get killed 0-20 by someone who plays conclave nonstop, then never touches Conclave again. Bots can at least let people play the game long enough to decide if they actually like the game mode or not.

As someone who played though Conclave for this skins, I can say that conclave has the potential to be fun under the right conditions. Heck, when I was really new, there were conclave events where everyone had the same loadout and it was a blast, so there is definitely potential for new players to get into conclave. Unfortunately, there are too many barriers to entry for a new player to get into the main conclave game mode.
