  1. i just had this happen. could not find the thing after 25 minutes so i had to abandon the mission
  2. the level 1 thing is probably just arbitrary and for ease of balance. they could have balanced it to be level 100 sentients and made kahl appropriately strong but why bother?
  3. Hi! I think there is a ton of potential in a kind of Kahl-type cooperative mode. players choosing and playing various grineer or corpus fighting narmer. or.. the infested or whichever not only would it be sweet as heck to customise a lady grineer or corpus tech i think there's potential there to "add onto" the currently available narmer missions. currently most game design stuff for warframe has to take warframes and ridiculous player abilities, mobility and such into account. there's the option for a new and challenging kind of cooperativ experience a cooperative experience of playing grineer or corpus fellahs who go and fight the real bad stuff and do like, potentially quite difficult missions. naturally this kind of thing would take a bit of work, making up missions for that kind of mode alone. however, UI is already done for Corpus or grineer type characters. there is a kahl customisation so maybe customising a scorpion, a tech or whichever wouldn't be too outlandish. and uh, maybe this would make the kahl type gameplay less of a content island and more of a thing with depth and player choices and decisions and what-have-you. players do get a nice ol' camp of friends in the drifter camp. maybe the unlocked "classes" or "characters" could hang out there bunch of stuff that'd be necessary for this is kindof already done and in the game so i hope this isn't too outlandish.
  4. I'm going to try and be very succinct in what i would like dress kahl up in orokin era grinner armor stuffs the sort of armor from the "official cinematic opening trailer" maybe even try and make him use the gotva we got from tennocon. shiny kahl. i like shiny things
  5. Hi the ballistica prime is one of my favourite secondaries. and that is not because of its stats or anything. if anything the weapon is really rather underwhelming no, the reason i am using it is because of its unique feature. which is ghosts appear. as in: you kill an enemy and a spectral version of this enemy appears for like 5 seconds this is so awesome and cool that i use it semi frequently. hoooowever. the ghosts hardly last long enough to really ever do much of anything. like, they walk around or just stand around confused often enough and then they just kind of dissapear without doing anything. now it is noteworthy that they do not deal any more damage than their living precursors so even when they manage to attack enemies (which also alarms them which makes ballistica prime a silent not silent weapon) their damage output is rather sad. now, the low damage output is fine but i would like the duration of the effect to be longer. so the ghosts can serve as some kind of distraction or support / "meat" shields which would be a functionality unique and quite special to the ballistica prime. (it is a bit strange this weapon can do this in the first place if anything) one idea i had was to tie it to ability duration somehow. would be a first that a weapon effect is tied to warframe mods? unless status effect duration on the weapon itself impacts the ghost duration furthermore while i am unsure how the weapon ought to have some kind of synergy with nekros. nekros is all about ghosts and the dead and making ghosts fight for him. to me it only makes sense there'd be some kind of synergy with him or his abilities. additionally the way the ghosts expire could be changed, you would not want permanent ghosts, as funny as that might be, cause a hundred ghosts at the same time would probably be problematic. though, if they had health drain like the nekros ghosts and would take bonus damage from enemies that might keep them dying before players flood a level with ghosts. which would still be awesome by the way. a tide of undead spectres slaugthering enemies. bit weird to tie that awesome mechanic to a random prime secondary though rather than a nekros ability or something. also, a ballistica incarnon would be quite sweet. it has no secondary fire, at least the prime variant doesn't so there'd be no problem there right?
  6. i think DE has to choose between "throwing people who bought it under the bus" but maintaining their integrity. or keeping the exclusive FOMO stuff and loosing some respect and integrity. honestly i think that in the long run the first option is preferable. a bad precedent for future content i believe will have a more harmful impact than the unfairness to the people who bought your product (a situation for which DE is at fault for in the first place). to compensate those who bought the pack under the threat of FOMO DE could just shower those players in forma, equipment slots or some other universally useful stuff. that does not make up for FOMO'ing people into buying it of course. i suppose a token effort is better than no effort at all. maybe give them a hundred roller floofs. i'd like a hundred roller floofs how many of the people who bought the pack really want the pack to stay time exclusive anyway? it seems like a logical fallacy to stick to something bad because people used to have it bad so people in the future should continue to experience bad for it would be unfair for those who had it bad before. any of that make sense? i feel quite tired
  7. i feel like you could have preserved exclusivity without making these permanently unavailable. could have made them a yearly or even less common aniversarry pack. plenty stuff ingame shows up perhaps once a year and some content only every few years permanently gone away content FOMO cosmetics or not is really bad. it could be an ugly sticker, the fact that it is permanently gone after some time will pressure some people in genuinely stressing about buying it.
  8. In the zariman void armageddon mission the turret called "mazuka" (the one that looks like a non rotary gatling gun) has following issue: the muzzle flash is floating somewhere in front of the gun instead of appearing where the gun actually fires from i haven't really this anywhere other than a solo "squad"
  9. Now, i am not entirely sure if this is a good idea but it sounded neat in my head. see, void armageddon has these turrets you can place. pretty neat but i am not sure how popular they are overall. they are a little redundant if you can nuke everything but you also cannot be everywhere so having something to cover an area you aren't can be nice they do offer some crowd control and damage anyway. not 100% sure if they'd really work well in the circuit or only specific mission types or tilesets in the circuit though. duviri and the undercroft have some zariman stuff going on so having turrets wouldn't be the greatest leap i don't think.
  10. ah, i adjusted my hud size and position a bit. it is better now though i would still prefer extra indicators around the aiming..reticule? like how the incarnon ammo is displayed. i was thinking more of vertical bars but that one is pretty much what i had in mind
  11. Hi! i am not sure what they'd be called in "the buisness" however i would much like a setting to enable additional displays at the centre of the screen next to the crosshair-aim dot thingy like, a bar (can be curved) that is full at 100% ammo supply and empties as the "magazine" gets emptied. on the opposite side another that displays current health and shields. i mostly just have problems moving my eyes to the corners of the screen to find out how my health, energy or ammo are doing if there is already a solution ingame that i missed i would appreciate that there was a setting for "ultrakill" if i am not mistaken for a minimalist hud. which displays all the important hud elements as parts of the actual crosshair. i do look at what i am shooting at, where i am going and such a lot of course so having a less detailed (probably no space for numbers) indicator of current supplies would be great
  12. Hi! i'll try to keep it brief i would like to have some more active animation with the wing ephemeras. the eros wings, sanguinax and the nyctalus what i'd like them to do is to fold (as far as that is possible) when crouching or rolling. i would also like them to flap when double jumping (or perhaps during an aimglide) the way they are now they are super static look more like prop wings glued on (which i guess they are to some extent)
  13. Hi. i didn't think this qualified as a bug but it is bugging me i have two items in mind, the soma prime and the "the stranger's hood" which have visual oddities that annoy me So, the hood is to be quick about it too bright. it is also a bit too shiny i think. the issue is that it does not really fit with any other suits, sleeves ETC just because it is often enough brighter and shinier than them. The soma prime is a long lasting grievance of mine. First off, the accents which are the golden bits on every other prime thing ever are instead the plastic-looking body. the shiny golden bits are instead shared between primary and secondary and are a really scratched up texture. comparing it to all the other primes the materials don't look quite as pristine i also have an issue with its flimsy sound but that is not relevant to this thread
  14. do the words "unreal tournament" mean anything to you?
  15. The Corinth is a pump action shotgun that fires hitscan pellets. it does not fire ricochet projectiles. the explosive secondary fire mode is a remotely detonated blast rocket. not an arcing projectile that explodes and releases some ricochet projectiles when it does
