...at a high price. Again, a weapon on average is $15 which isn't really "cheap". And yes, you can get it for free, but that doesn't fix the market price.
And TBF, GM has the best plat per dollar, so it doesn't seem like much to you. (It's what, 8k plat? 8.5? Something around there.)
Hey. I don't buy weapons with platinum. I make them with resources and then rush the build time (if I really want it). The warframes are worth it, especially Banshee since I could never find her systems blueprint from defense. Well, (haha) yes I have more platinum than I can spend at the moment. But I wouldn't mind to buy more platinum the normal way. To me, it's just there, either I need it and get it or don't mind it at all.
P.S. I do plan to gain over 10,000 platinum and record it as an achievement one day.

Hm, well still, plat might be cheap, but what you can get for it is really next to nothing (again, looking at weapons, frames, and resources. Cosmetics and slots are fine overall)
Saves me time. It lets me enjoy new content sooner.

Errr no. Platinum might not be expensive, but what you get for it is (weapons/resources/frames wise) is next to nothing. Also, try taking the silver spoon out. Also, are you honestly gonna say/defend the fact that most weapons and frames are $15 or more? Because that's AWFUL pricing.
I'm not defending it, I don't mind it. I'm simply stating that platinum doesn't cost much. To me at least.

No... Because when you shoot a tank, you aim for the weak points. Rhino visibly has no breasts. Therefore enemies assume that Rhino is a man. Since nearly every part of his body is armored. They aim for his crown jewels.

I'm talking about mods that decrease one stat of a gun to increase the other. Yes. I want a mod that decreases fire rate to increase damage.
So that I can turn Soma into an old Kalashnikov.

Based on this common idea and amount of replies and views this thread has within one day, It's fair to say that there may be a small chance that DE would make platinum cheaper. However, doing may cost them.

You should definitely assume that people not buying platinum simply can't afford it and that you are god's gift to having money while simultaneously glossing over the conversation being about whether or not what you can buy with platinum is worth it when compared to other things that money can buy (like a new video game on steam, food, or a lovely night with a lady-friend).
Why are Bugatti Veyron's so expensive? They should lower the cost to $30, 000 and make it affordable to the public!
No... Platinum is a premium currency set by a DE. If you can't afford it, save up or find a job. If they do decide to change the price of platinum, they would have to make a choice to either do the right thing and compensate every person who has bought platinum before the change [which may cost a lot], or upset many by not providing compensation [which will cause many complaints].

I don't have a specific weapon for taking on certain factions. My builds for guns are multi-faction. They're great against Infested, Grineer, and Corpus. Currently ranking the Soma now that I've used forma on it. Back to topic. I'd use an automatic weapon with a frost element.

I've always treated the Braton Vandal as a novelty item. Great for everything below 40, because I don't forma it. If they buffed the crit rate, I'll consider using forma on it.

Not sure if it changes the attack animation since it's a rapier. I haven't gotten a single part for it. Then again according to your post. This seems like a bug.

Well than increse the droprate, but that makes the mod clutter only worse.
Well then why can't we have a gun shoots warframes, or sentinels as weapons? Why can't we just 1 hit kill everything in the game the moment we enter the map? It makes perfect sense since this is a game where one plays an alien mass-murdering humans.

Well, I'm pretty sure they found something good. So I treated it as good news and my time nearly getting killed by endless mobs was worth it.

I agree that the scythes need a unique stealth and finisher animation. Although, you have to remember that stealth kills are "Insta kills" and so you need to keep the animations into "ambiguously lethal" territory.
I would like to keep the knee kick, but then bringing the scythe across the neck and yanking real hard.
They are not insta-kills. There was a time I stabbed a Grineer in the back with my scythe, and it lived to warn its buddies.

i think some nub just want to make a limit to dps/rank >>Rank 1 max dps 100, rank 2 max dps 200.....Soma should not more then 300 dps....

Most players love it because it's easier to make, and it performs better than the hard-to-make Supra.

I do own both weapons. Why are you sure that I haven't owned both of them? I've build both of them to 30 before. Heck! I even put a potato onto Soma and created 3 builds for the rifle! One's a pure damage build based off conserving ammo, the second is a mob cleanser that fires at high speeds, and the third is pure DPS.

I think the easiest way to balance the weapon would be to set weapon rank to 6 and lower the crit multiplier a bit.
