i don't understand the whole thing with shotgun razorwing honestly

rifles gives better dps with crit build + primed shred

Bear in mind that not everyone has Primed Shred whereas all of the shotty mods required are easily attainable and affordable.

There are additional base damage mods for shotguns and Dex Pixia is weighted towards status (25% base) rather than crit (15% base) so multi-shot mods further boosts status in addition to extra DPS.  Combine that with the fact that 80% of her damage is weighted towards slash means that a status build causes consistent mayhem.

Admittedly this is my preferred build after much fiddling an obviously I'm biased, but from my testing a while back in the Simulacrum, I found that this coupled with radiation and viral damage was the fastest way to shred mobs.  It comes down as much to personal preference as anything else, I just hope they allow us the same amount of freedom that we've had with her up until now.

The problem is that Dex Pixia relies on using a shotgun as it's base, due to all of the powerful shotgun damage mods. If the new exalted weapon mod tab drops, and Dex Pixia is locked into using rifle mods, she'd lose a lot of potential DPS

To be honest I love the idea of the separate exalted weapons (despite the increased forma cost which isn't really that big an issue because I have literally hundreds of relics just waiting for me to get BPs from them.  Granted it may take some time, but I'm happy to do it so no prob, for me anyway can't speak for others) however the ONE big worry I had was this!

I use Tigris Prime on Titania specifically because the shotgun has more pure damage mods then rifles, bows etc which means if you build Titania right you can destroy everything with much more ease then if you run her carrying a rifle.  Now for other frames, the exalted weapons are pretty clear, bow for Ivara, Melee for Excal, Secondary for Mesa and so on.

My hope is that they either l.eave this open ended for her, in other words simply "Primary" mods or make it shotgun specific otherwise she is going to take a significant damage knock.  My fear however is that they change her exalted to dual pistols (which if we're honest is what they actually look like) which will make her best weapons very wishy washy (unless they significantly boost the stats).

Tried the other options and had some fast flickering until I turned off Adaptive Exposure.

No more flicker even with the others back on.

    Case closed

Tried this and it's fixed (for now...) thanks very much.  Only problem is now everything is either very dark or too bright, but still better than the nausea inducing strobe!!!

  4. I've noticed this increasing massively since Plague Star (and the new update) dropped.

I was in the caves near the Geyser pool last night and actually ended up with a splitting headache because of it.  The flickering was so bad that in some instances the screen blacked out for nearly a full second and it is pretty much impossible to navigate anywhere in that cave system by strobe light so my squad and I just bailed.  Another thing to mention is that all members of the squad suffered the same issues at the same time so it's not isolated to me and which could possibly be fixed by powercycling my XBox (which I've tried).

Also noticed this seems to happen a lot on the left hand side of the large lake in PoE as well.

I'll have to give it a try, if I ever finish making Nekros. I mean, I can solo Lephantis with my Nidus by building up my Mutation stacks before facing off with him/it. It's just something I've been too lazy to do lately.

I've heard good things about Hydroid and Nekros farming. Maybe bring in an Ivara as well. Can others pick up Ivara's "pickpocketed items"?

I don't think so as they don't really "drop".  That being said I've never really paid attention to that aspect of Ivara as I normally just use her for stealth stuff and my build is completely focused on efficiency and energy pool.

Never really run a Hydroid/Nekro combo because most of my clan REALLY find Hydroid's slappy tentacles too frustrating but what we do do is make sure that everyone running can slash the hell out of everything so Nekro has more to work with.  Bring along Hall of Mirrors mirage and a Panthera with punch through for tons of fun, Maim Equinox also works.

Yeah, that and the Razorback Armada event- but reduce the cost of the ciphers immensely.

Not all of us have a steady supply of Polymer Bundles, lol.

Edit: yes, I'm aware the Razorback Armada event was just here- but dagnabbit, I could only run it a few times. *sigh*

If I'm running low on Poly, my go to spot for farming (solo or otherwise) is Ophelia on Uranus.

I just take Nekros and do 2 or 3, 25 minute runs which should net you around 15k poly, more if you drag a few friends with as long as everyone stays together.  I normally get double that because I generally always have a booster running.

Alternatively- Stalker's Acolytes, Ambulas Reborn, Tethra's Doom, Operation Breeding Grounds, etc.

Although personally, I'd like to see the Pacifism Defect return- but this time give everyone, whether they're in the top percentage or not, a chance at adding the Blueprint for Ignis Wraith to their Clan Dojo.

Complete it 5 times or something. Though of course, then they'd have to add more rewards, perhaps from other events? To make it worthwhile.

I'd like to obtain the Infested Zaw components, being a Nidus main, so this would be more than welcome as well. When I saw the Ghoul Purge event cycle I was thinking exactly this myself- like "really? again? so soon?"

Totally with you on Ambulas!  Just missed it on console and love Supra Vandal on PC but don't play PC anymore because I shifted focus to build up my clan and dojo on console.

Depends entirely on your definition of leech.

To me a leech is someone whom afks at spawn and never bothers to lift a finger.

Someone whom is lagging behind a bit or might be a bit undergeared isn't a leech as long as they're trying to contribute, some frames are just ridiculously fast for instance and there's no way in heck the slower frames are going to be able to keep up with them so they come off looking like leechers.

imho they just need to add an inactivity timer to the starting area, if you're in the area for more than a minute, the game boots that person back to space, this would encourage the majority to actually play the game and only the most persistent to keep trying to afk at that point.

    My definition of leech:

    • Sortie T1 exterm
      • MR5 L20 Frost
      • 3 kills in mission
      • is "meditating" on the top of a Grineer locker from the start of the mission and I'm not talking about being glitched, I'm talking about Meditate emote so not by accident
    • Sortie T2 def
      • MR5 L20 Frost
      • 0 kills in mission
      • is "meditating" behind the objective... except it's sortie so the defense objective is the guy wandering around not the cryopod which is pretty obvious, but hey Meditating while other people do the work is funny right?
    •   Sortie T3 Assassination
      • squadmate and I drop squad, then rejoin and just do duo on invite only after that to avoid any more idiots.

You can read the full list of changes coming for Ash, Atlas, Banshee, Chroma, Ember, Gara, Hydroid, Rhino, Volt, and Zephyr along with the 100+ weapon changes (excluding Beam weapons - these will come in a later update) in the PC notes: https://forums.warframe.com/topic/918482-shrine-of-the-eidolon-update-22120/

Aaaaaw was really hoping for beam weapons to be included, but then again there is SO much content in this update so thanks once again DE for all the work you guys put in.  Looking forward to it!

  10. Recently my clan mates and I have been running a lot of Kuva Siphons and Kuva Floods because we have a few Rivens for our favorite weapons with terrible rolls.

The issue that has come to the fore is that, especially in the past two weeks, every single time we run a Kuva Siphon or Flood the braids end up getting bugged, often so much so that we end up completing the mission and giving up on the Kuva.

To date this has happened on pretty much every tileset (well at least on every planet, I doubt that we've run a Kuva mission on every single node yet), regardless of faction.  We have tried running with different warframes, squad combinations and weapon set ups.  We have also tried using only primary or secondary fire options on multiple amp configs and the only commonality we can find is that this happens every time.

The main things that go wrong are:

    1. Kuva gets stuck in/under the map and it is not possible to shoot it from any angle.  This can sometimes be solved by going between 150m - 200m away from the siphon and then returning.  This sometimes results in the Queen's repeating the dreamer speech, losing one of the Kuva "points" and then the process resets.
    2. The Kuva trail gets hit but instead of destroying a braid as it should, just stops dead and then disappears after a few seconds.  This sometimes results in one of the braids getting stuck in the up position.  With a little luck this sometimes doesn't cost a Kuva point and after a minute it resets and continues as normal.  More often than not however, especially if it's the final braid, this usually means that we won't be able to complete the Kuva part of the mission as it remains bugged and we can't seem to reset it no matter how far we go from the Siphon.
    3. The Siphon starts filling up Kuva "points" in quick succession (every 10-20 seconds) without the Kuva trail actually being visible (this often happens after point 1 and normally occurs when two braids are up at the same time)
    4. Pretty much 7 out of 10 Kuva missions bug out on the final braid (if we make it that far) with Kuva either getting stuck inside the map where we can't reach it or the braid just being in the up position, but no Kuva actually coming (the sound that signifies the Kuva is on its way also doesn't play).  I tested this last night and a Spy mission and waited 45 minutes for the final Kuva to appear before finally giving up, completing the 3 Spy nodes and extracting with no Kuva.

While I understand that you guys are breaking your backs getting new content out to us (for which we will always be eternally grateful, 'cos you guys ARE awesome), it is very disheartening to brave the RNG gods and get rewarded only to get stuck behind bugs when attempting to farm the only reliable (non-RNG) source of the resource that is required to perfect what the RNG gods have granted us.

  11. I have tried multiple Zaw configurations and various mod setups (including no mods at all) so I am certain that the issue is directly related to Zaw's in general.  Bugs are as follows:

    1. Titania - After going into Razorwing mode melee speed decreases to the point of being utterly useless (comparison might be Captura with slo-mo on at its slowest setting).  You can still melee in Razorwing but in normal mode its simply broken.  The only fix is to die.  Getting revived by squadmates doesn't fix the bug.
    2. Mirage Prime (haven't tested with normal Mirage because I tend to sell the standard frames when I get my hands on a Prime variant) - When using a Zaw with Exodia Contagion installed while Hall of Mirrors is up, the weapon only sends out a single projectile, in much the same way that Exodia Epidemic only sends out a single wave.  I have tested with several other project based weapons and they all work as expected (not sure if this is the case with the Zenistar as I still have 85 days to go before I acquire that awesomeness).  I'm not sure if this is a bug or intentional but would have expected that, if intentional, it would have been done across all weapons.

I know compared to other bugs these may seem small but these are both frames I love to run with and impact quite significantly on how I (and my clan mates) I like to play them, so hopefully you guys can look into it relatively soon.  Number 1 has been around since Zaws and the Plains first landed but obviously 2 only relates to the newer operation content (which was great by the way, thanks very much for that!)

    • Tons of changes and fixes!

@[DE]Megan Thanks very much for pumping these updates out to us so fast, especially at this time of year!

    Do these fixes include:

    • Titania's Razorwing breaking Zaw melee speed to the point where it is completely unusable (only happens with Zaws not other melee, I have tested with different Zaw configs and mod set ups and the only common link is that I'm using a Zaw)
    • Mirage's Hall of Mirrors only throwing out a single projectile when using a Zaw equipped with Exodia Contagion arcane.  Not sure if this is/was intentional or just oversight, but all other weapons I've tested still seem to have multiple projectiles.  Haven't tried with Zenistar yet as I still have some time to go before I can claim that awesomeness (longest 90 days of my life!)

I hope you and the team at DE have a safe and relaxing festive season and are spoiled rotten by your loved ones.  You guys deserve it :satisfied:

  13. I have the same issue.

It ONLY happens with Zaw's (I have several of varying builds using both normal and infested Zaw parts). Any other melee weapon I use is fine.

Zaw works fine until I go Razorwing for the first time.  Melee works fine while in Razorwing mode but once I return to normal it slows down completely.  The effect is almost like being in Captura with slow motion turned on.  After that the only way I can melee (with a speed resembling normal) is in Razorwing.

The only thing that seems to fix this is death (getting revived by squad mate doesn't help, slo-mo is still in effect).  I haven't checked whether it happens for both PC and XBox, or whether it also happens outside of the Plains, but those will be my next tests.

This has been going on with me since Plains originally dropped probably because, well no Zaws before then.  I really hope DE will fix sometime soon but because it's only happening with Titania I'm not holding my breath because they probably have much bigger fish to fry (40kg Mortus Lungfish for example)

This would make sense, if not every piece of new content requires you to put an incredibly large amount of time in fishing just to make little progress in the game

And the fishing is just buggy as hell like other part of PoE, I've thrown 40 baits for Murkray and 39 of them spawned exactly nothing for me, now I suspect if the baits are even working or not, DUH

    I don't now about that.

I just dropped 5 Murkray bait and got 2 large ones 3 small and a medium in a few minutes.  I never have to wait more than a minute for fish to spawn I(I find that sometimes poking your spear in the water brings them, but that might be my imagination) but it all depends where you fish and what time of the day it is with regard to what fish appear.  I normally use the small ones and half my mediums for bait and the rest of the medium and the large for standing.

I find it very chilled but then again I'm not rushing to finish the content and get everything maxed and leveled as fast as possible.  I play daily for an hour or 3 in the evenings after work so I can shrug off the day so the fishing and stuff fits in with my pace.  Not for everyone I know, but good enough for me.

From what I can see, is that the cores/gems you got before the patch cannot be traded.  But Cores/Gems you got after the patch can be traded.

I had 9 Cores in my inventory, but could only trade 6/9.  The 3, not trading I got before the patch.

I had zero pre-patch. Got enough to level to max and then level quills just now but can't turn them in so don't think it's that.  Fish and gems work fine for me though.

  16. I actually don't mind the cache missions, but then again I'm using Titania so I just go up high and scout the area from above and they're pretty easy to find especially at dusk because their glow is really visible.

I'd suggest just try to get up as high as you can.  There are a lot of climbable outcrops that you can scale easily for a better view.  The area that they're normally in is small enough for you to Parkour around once you've spotted them.
