  1. This whole game is a grind.   So try to do as many different things as possible.   Because if you try to do one thing before moving onto the next it will literally take forever.  

    So the answer to your question is YES. 

    Yes gain mastery

    Yes unlock star chart

    Yes do missions

    Yes join syndicates

    Yes do Cetus/Fortuna grinds

    Yes start popping relics to get Forma BP and ALWAYS have one building.  

    Do it all!!!!!

  2. Im max rank with ventkids, have mastered all 4 boards,  have raced every race(achievement).  So I am experienced with K-drive.  

    I love all the races, (except maybe the ones in caves lol).  But can we just get some regular race tracks???  Going along the roads of Orb Vallis is EXTREMELY fulfilling.   You have a TON of racetracks built into the game that never get used.   Was this done for technical reasons?  You cant lay down 100 checkpoints or something??  I guess I will get a pic of the map and highlight some courses we could have.  

    I think cirquit races have some mechanics you could play around with to like laps, and doing the courses in reverse. 

    Multiplayer K-drive is non existant/broken..   If one person talks to a ventkid it should warp everyone to the starting line so everyone can run the race at the same time.  I have managed to do it a few times but usually it just locks the other player out of the race until the first person finishes.  (and then it breaks the ventkid and doesnt let you start more races from there)

    Anyways thanx for everything K-drive but I really want to cruise the OV roads =(  I want them to be races so we get waypoints.  Driving the roads yourself is hard to do without constantly checking map.

    Well in a devstream after tennocon when the rest of us first heard of kuva liches they were driving around in their railjack as they explained Kuva Liches.  And they used their railjack to board the ship their Kuva Lich was hiding on....     But it sounds like if we are getting kuva lichs NOW that they can hide anywhere...  which is less cool.  I always thought flying around in railjack to get to them would always be part of it based off that devstream.

    In addition, the ‘heaviness’ of an attack will have a measured difference on the amount of Combo Counter it increases. As a general rule, lighter, swift attacks will give lower additions to the Combo Counter than slower, heavy attacks will. Swing for the fences, Tenno!

    They didnt mention weapons...

    I thought we were getting weak/strong melee attacks but we are not..   normal melee works exactly the same but then you can perform those new heavy attacks.  Guess we wont be spamming R3.  

  5. A 4th syndicate just slows the process down.  In fact you really only need 2 as the 3rd even though it will not mess with the other 2 still has to be farmed seperately.  

    The only things you can NOT trade for from other syndicates are capes and sculptures.   So as far as archwing weapon parts, syndicate weapons, mods... it doesnt matter what syndicates you take.  Go for the ones whose statues or capes you want and just trade for everything else..

    Once you do not care about weapon, aw weapons, augments what are the benefits of syndicates?  Well the best thing about them after that is being able to buy Dragon Relic packs.   These are a great way to "try" and get your hands on new relics super fast/early and the hard to get ones like axi.   Now if your saving up for the next new set of relics a 3rd syn is great.  But once you buy the dragon relics and have to farm more standing with your syndicates the 2 synergistic ones are the easiest to grind standing on because they feed each other.

    You can work on one while the other gets 50% of the standing(or more or if you wear opposite emblem).  Once you get to around 80-90k standing you switch to the other and while you are grinding standing for them your first will max out.  So you really if you do it right you max out 2 syndicates for the cost of one.   Your 3rd school doesnt get anything from all that, so you have to grind standing for that one seperately which is a stupid waste of time.  Just blow your syn pts on the first two and start the process over again.  If your actively trying to get relics....

    Once you have all the new primes and your getting ready for next set of relics then by all means,  max out your third while you wait.  

    The 4th syn is just a dumb waste of time because even if you just use the 3rd syn to level the 4th that makes it SLOW grind.  If you try to gain standing on the 4th directly then you screw up your first 2 syns(and if you try to fix them then you screw up the 4th). 

    So in terms of using sydicates to get relics 2 is all you really need,   a 3rd is just nice to have at the beginning of a new relic release,  not so much during.

    Now if you want the sculpture/cape from a 4th then I would only use your 3rd to pass 50%+ of the standing on to the 4th so you do not damage the first two.  Thats the ONLY reason to get a 4th.  That relationship will tank whenever you work on the first 2 so you will not be holding it anyways...

    I was nuts and ranked up all 6 so I could get every sculpture decoration lol.  Massive waste of resources for so little bragging rights lol.  

    Like I said 2 synergistic syns is all you NEED.  You will waste less resources,  2 is the fastest way to build standing so you can buy whatever.  a 3rd is a little helpful but definately not needed.  4+ is a waste.  

  6. hmmmmmmm....  dont know how I feel about that idea.... Dagger vs Hammer... daggers have less damage, less reach, and now will build less combo?   Is it just going to be a massive disparity or will they have any advantages?  I recently got Dual Kamas Prime for my nekro and they are alot faster than my old guandou staff but I notice alot of hits do not register or do damage.  

     

  7. It seems like we might need to screw around with our controller layouts with melee phase 2 to get them to work right and feel good for us on consoles.   So I would just like to re-iterate my idea for the ability menu buttons.   Would be great to have added functionality in the next patch.  

  8. I thought Kuva Liches were tied to new railjack stuff.  But they didnt say jack about railjack in last devstream.....so will that be in next update or not(The old Blood)

    Anyone understand what the heck you do to get Grendel??   You get keys from arbitrations? Or you get the keys from somewhere else and goto arbitration to use them?? 

    Has DE ever gave an explanation for the Leveria or whatever,  the museum/art exibit for different warframes thingy?  I dont get its purpose.. Seems like dev time could be better spent elsewhere...

    Any opinions on heavy attacks using alt fire button??   On console thats R3...  and they said weak attacks do not build combo very fast so we have to spam heavy attacks.  So we are going to have to be clicking R3 craptons??  That will not work..   but if we change alt fire button for melee then it will also be changed for guns...

I do know it.  Watch last nights primetime and she stated it explicitly.  You get ur cat back.  Master T in Cetus has the cure....  they just havent explained exactly the process of making a vamp kitty but it should work exactly like a helminth charger kubrow.   Have the virus when you go to make a new pet and use the virus instead of making a random pet.

Nekro is boring as hell to play.  His 1-3 need total reworks.   Actually Terror would be pretty damn sick if they just changed the direction enemies ran and reverse the augment/power so that they would move SLOW towards necro un-augmented, and FAST if u augment.   Shield of shadows is just not squad friendlly,  the shadows needs to not interfere with vision/bullets.  I hat single target abilities especially when you have to aim them.  Soul Punch is beyond stupid because it ragdolls enemies.   It should be a seeking ability that hard stuns ones target,  maybe if you kill the target then everyone in X radius is healed or gains energy or something.    Desocrate is perfect but it would be nice if it was immune to nullifiers/bubbles/being shut off by enemies...   Roid hunting with him sucks and he is also one of the weakest looters in the game now...but makes up for it with range/body parts.

    I never used atlas before his prime dropped.   I like his petrify..  his punch feels weak tho,  rumblers dont last long enough/do enough damage its just a tiny distraction(I like the AoE petrify it unleashed but range is very small.  His wall would actually be super cool it 100% grabbed aggro of everything in range..  I dont know how it works but ony some stuff goes for the wall lol.  But I try to use it for crowd control and to bunch enemies up and when it works like that its awesome.  

    Petrify needs to have visible zone to see where petrify will hit,  Like nidus this ability has an angle of effect but you have no way of WIDENING the angle...I would also like energy color outlines on stuff turned to stone just to help see the victoms lol  Rock foes out on PoE is hard to see.  Rumblers should be like octavia ball?? run around smashing the ground dealing % damage to enemies.  (x2 damage if enemies are petrified).  Or rip out the rumblers and just change it into 360 degree petrify with more range call it shockwave,  Atlas punching the ground anmation.  I would love his wall to get cranked up.   100% aggro draw, force enemies to want to melee the wall they get bunched up.   You could recast to blow it up and deal damage to everything nearby and or petrify them.   Rockslide needs to have alot high base damage and NOT ragdoll enemies.  

    Valkyr is nice as is.  Hysteria, Warcry,  Scream.   Only her zipline sucks.    But having said that she could definately use more offensive cast abilities.  Warcry is on/off,  Hysteria u save until you need or have a large crowd.  I use Paralysis scream to hunt kavat dna/smash things/ suck enemies into melee range.  But I also use a different build for Ewar when I wanna focus on supporting squad.  But she doesnt really have abilities to just dish out damage.    Maybe if zipline would pull enemies to YOU instead of flinging them at you or you to THEM.   But I think zipline should get canned and a new ability added.  

    Garuda's was cool but her self damage for energy has a horrible ratio,  her passive that gives her damage bonus when she is near death is probably way to low.  From 100% hp to 50% hp she should get a damage bonus of 1:1 %.  From 50% to 1% health it should be like 2-4:1%   The more damage she has taken the stronger she gets and when she is near-death she is insanely strong.   I think her blood altar deserves more base range since its immobile.  Conversely you could make Garuda stick an enemy on her arm spikes and carry them around with her lol so her healing is mobile.  

    Gara's wall sucks for defense.  Needs to be a sphere.  When part of the wall breaks it should make whole thing shatter and blender enemies like Shattering Lash.  Gara as is, is better suited to offense than defense.  But I am good with that, she is hella fun to use like that.   But maybe if you made her wall a sphere you could then give us a wall augment to turn the wall into a defense only ability where its unbreakable like before so we could use gara for defense to.

    But yeah Nekros I think is the most deserving of a rework.   I really like atlas.  Atlas Prime is super cool looking,  super tanky,  petrifying enemies makes him feel pretty offensive.  He could just use some tweaks to make him even more fun.   I slapped some Lua Unairo lens's on him so he is what i use to farm unairo focus so I am using him alot right now(cuz that school was still locked before atlas prime lol).  Now im gathering focus to unbind my first waybound(in unairo).   I love his wall being good for a tiny bit of defense and crowd control.  I love tanky/melee frames the most but Atlas feels alot more fun than valkyr/garuda.  Nidus was my latest tanky/melee love and its super hard to compete with his Larva.  But atlas's wall is a cool alternative/different feeling.

I dont see a prob for permanent ghoul bounties..  I wouldnt make 5 just 3 so they take up a single row... is the Nittain Extract the reason this is being asked for?  I dont think DE want them to be permanently in there...  but as a rare reward props to whoever could farm tons of it from that......   Making those weapon blueprints available to newbs is prob the reason they show up so often.....

    On the other hand with plague star....totally dont know how the rewards work anymore.  After they nerfed Ember I stopped doing it.  There 2 different poisons to use, some people are scumbags and leech/dont help.   You have to waste resources to make the poison.   If they took that part out it might be alot more fun to run.  It needs some more rewards than plague weapon parts and arcanes and forma....   (maybe add in normal zaw parts for weapon types we dont have now...like nun-chucks, dual daggers, whip,  ect. ).

    I wish ghouls showed up in alot higher numbers while doing regular bounties.  Would make them alot harder and or alot easier depending on your frame lol.

    In my opinion...Eidolons require way to much prep.  As laggy as hell as Profit Taker is and as buggy as hell as Exploiter is I can have fun running those any time I want... Eidolons are only  there during the night,  require waaay to much crap and teamwork.   It would be nice if they got split up into individual fights.  It would be nice if you had access to those missions 24/7.   If you take an eido bounty...it takes place at night(with a time limit??)...even if its daytime out..

Challenge wise it was fun.   Sorties and tridolons are the only things I dont want to mess with.  The index challenge I do not understand.  If you didnt have to do 3 back to back index shut outs I would totally love the challenge.  There is a challenge to do 8 rounds of ESO....you do not have to do all 8 at one time in that one.... thats an elite challenge.  So I dont understand why index has such a dumb requirement.   (I think they may have removed the elite part of sanctuary...and just made it regular sanctuary...)

    I hate challenges that force me to spend resources.  Gilding,  Forma'ing,  Apothics....  I am greatful gilding took a dirt nap,  and I am greatful forma and apothic use are being reduced to just 1... that should make it alot less painful.   (You could also have totally reworked the crafting requirements for apothics instead of reducing the need... then they would be less painful to get....)

    Please make an easy challenge to fight Teralyst..  Vets can carry an army of noobs through that fight.

    Lore Wise I thought the ending was a huge let down.  I was sure we would be fighting Kanga or Arlo at the end.  Arlo wolfs out...but instead we fight some random zealot dude...boooooo/wtf....   At the end of Nightwave season 1 I thought for sure we would fight Wolf in that captura scene you guys built....that was a huge letdown but atleast it ended with us fighting wolf.   Season 2 had a cool end fight but it just wasnt against the enemy being put in our face the whole time.  Season 3 better have a cool boss fight (similar to nw2 or better) Vs the actually focus on the story...   Otherwise Season 2 was pretty bad ass.  Around epi 3 I knew things were not going to end well.   That was cool how it started, Arlo and his lackies popping up to revive people and fight by your side and then the switch gets flipped..  

    Overall season 2 review....the rewards were freaking awesome.. but I really hate how pathetic prestige credit rewards are.  They need to give ALOT more like 75 creds per win.  Also add Forma to the store for 75 credits.  The orokin reactor/catalyst/forma are great rewards for pushing until the very end.   Perhaps add Aura/Umbra to the store for (150 credits in current system.  or 375-750 credits if u gave us 75 creds per rank.   

    Me personally I do not like the current pacing.  I would love alot more challenges per week/day.  I liked season 1 alot more in that respect.  I like having alot of stuff to grind through every day.   But that made people feel like they HAD to grind that much.   So you reduced the amount of challenges and made them worth more.   I think there is a middle ground.  Give us a ton of challenges but make them worth enough points so you do not have to run them all, maybe only half.   Hard focus on daily activities.  

    Cant wait for season 3!!  Getting a 3rd Umbra forma and then having to agonize about which warframe to spend them all on... I was so close to dumping them all on Ember but then u announced rework and she is totally different =(.

  13. It would be cool if buttholes who already maxed out all their focus schools could divert all that focus into tokens to give to others to help them max out their schools =P.  

    I dont know about adding stuff yet...  They are just dipping their toes into uni medallions and I would say they are a massive fail right now.  They do not come often enough and they dont give enough.   (feels like the whole purpose of uni medallions is to bypass eidolon fights since those are so NOT fun.   Orb spiders are very fun in comparision.   I would rather them redo the eido fights than add dumb tokens to bypass it).  But from devstreams and primetimes they have talked about adding different value medallions.  

    I would gladly use 72k worth of medallions everyday,  compared that to finding 1k once a week lol.   I think work needs to be done there.... 

    I dont agree they are making it easier to gain focus... I guess your talking about Lua lens.  But they are screwing up stealth mechanics to make grinding it that way harder.  Not using stealth to grind takes waaaay longer.   I dont see any future in being able to grind enough focus daily to buy uni medallions to max out the daily standing in other stuff....   Seams waaaaay easier to just get the standing directly.  

    So focus for standing.....not really a fan...  we also have all these new modes.... if they want to add cool new things to obtain they have plenty of places to put them without having to use focus to buy...

    I would like to see more focus schools added.   I would like more stuff to be unbinded....  I'd like to control the abilities I have access to alot more.   For example Zenurik.  Zen has a killer nod that draws enemies to you while you hide in void.  But to get to that node you have to go through a node that deals damage to stuff near you while you are hiding in void.  Those two skills go great together....But what if I dont want to deal damage and just want to pull enemies??  Cant....   Likewise once you max a node out it costs whatever it costs and you have to permanently take that into account.  You can never decrease the ranks on nodes you maybe dont use or want(if you use any nodes past an unwanted one).

    But yeah expanding the current focus system would be something I could support.  Im not maxed out on anything but it would be cool to see more operator stuff.

    Your right about Magus Husk being operator.

    The second one looks like Magus Rejuvenate.  It heals your warframe while you are in operator mode. (not void mode)

    Magus Repair from vox solaris heals everything within 20meters  by 20% while you hide in void(and is awesome!!)

     

    Bei inaktiver tranferenz = operator mode  (just spacekid,  not hiding in void)

  15. Any endless map can be used for leveling. Sadly 4 man squads get the most XP because they spawn more enemies, higher level enemies.  If you can get 4 people to be in affinity range even better because then and only then do you share xp from each others kills.   THats why Hydron is a crutch, there is always people there,  the map makes it hard to be out of affinity range.   

    I prefer fighting infested though.  

    Relic Fissures are a nice way to get affinity to.  People usually stay clumped together.  And i dont know the enemies seem to be worth more xp than normal.  

    You DO NOT have to use hydron.
