  1. Did both resource booster and chance booster.  Ran Nuovo.  Must have gotten over 50-60 cells in one 30 mins run.

250 oxium per run on Kappa with Nekros.

Warfarmers all over the galaxy are jumping in joy!!! Today's harvest was the best one yet!

    XD

I thought you couldn't desecrate oxium drones making nekros not really much more useful for farming oxium.

  2. Honestly they'd be better off releasing a MK.II version of the founders stuff. Doubt they'd bother just to avoid the bitter tears.

Lato and skana prime are currently radical redesigns of their base counterpart.

It would be more suitable to have the re-release use the stock lato and skana skins and slap some orokin stuff on it. Not saying make them inferior or ugly. But to definitely have a distinct difference between the two.

Another possible compromise, simply release weapons that have mirroring stats and give them some other look outside of the orokin/Prime effects.

Also, the "give us perma forma + catalyst + etc blueprints" are hilariously silly. Only likely to see that for some insane 200+ package. Even then, they want to drain your wallet, not give you a sustainable way to never pay again.  And Getting that much compensation for such a small detail is just a pipe dream.

Not to mention the epic freakout the rest of the community would have. It would be like Tourette's tidalwave, a tawdry torrent of terrible taunts. A cavalcade of convulsing crybabies creating constant conflagrations. It would be bad.

  3. It's impossible to get 90 cells at Mimas on 35 minutes.

The cells would only start dropping at 30 minute mark with resources boosters.

I did 45 minutes and got 18 cells at the most. (I posted in the forums earlier this week after running Mimas 10 times in a span of 12 hours)

And there were two people in the party with boosters.

This is not true not even remotely.

  4. You're the one who brought up Activision/EA.

DE isn't going to re-release the Founder's program, they're exclusive. I've accepted it, don't worry. Doesn't mean there isn't meaningful discussion to made about the future of videogames and exclusives.

I'm anti-exclusives, and while it's a shame DE backed themselves into a corner with their wording, it doesn't mean we shouldn't be talking about it.

Rhino Prime is an upgrade over Rhino, even more so than Ember Prime was an upgrade over Ember. Is this a good thing, or a bad thing? Should Excalibur Prime be buffed, be altered, be modified in any way? DE doesn't seem to interested in going back to balance anything, so the likelihood this would occur is slim, however, if they would ever want to make the design choice that ALL Primes are now UPGRADED versions of their successor counterparts, then where does that leave Excalibur Prime? He's locked behind exclusive/paywall, so he gets left out, and... that's it? Same with Lato Prime, same with Braton Vandal. Just because their underpowered currently doesn't mean that's an acceptable reason to give up.

I wouldn't be as concerned with this whole matter if they were strictly cosmetic, but in the case of Boltor Prime and Rhino Prime being UPGRADES, there is a disconnect between older Primes and modern Primes.

A fix I proposed in another thread is to give Founder's a Syandana, a skin, something on top of their current bounties, so they can feel they truly get their exclusive fix. Then, Excalibur and Lato/Skana can be re-released for the public.

As a Founder, you get your exclusives. You supported the game, now you have an item you can display proudly to show it. I'm sure some Founders bought it for the Excalibur Skin because they REALLY LIKED IT and hoped it'd remain exclusive forever. But, shouldn't Founders bought the package simply to support DE, not over trivial items? Give them something to replace what they lost, make it grandiose, make it spectacular, make it unique, but don't make it linked to game play.

Yes I brought up EA/Acti, and you are the one who twisted it to something that it's not. They aren't denying people anything out of meanness, to increase their pre-orders in order to sell a game that is untested or unproven, to increase their profit margins, to cynically shut out a used game market. They aren't locking content on a disc behind a small patch that you have to pay 20 dollars for, they aren't pre-selling you content that may not come at all or be worth even it's "discounted" price. They aren't putting up trailers that misrepresent a product. None of the things that I was actually focused on have been done. Still you've been slighted so their actions are indefensible.

And yes it is true the founders should have supported the game to support it, but next time you buy plat then it should be fine with you if they give you half or none of it? Everyone knows that plat sales how you support DE so they can keep making the game, as long as they do that then it doesn't matter if they fail to give you what was promised in exchange right?

  5. Let's be honest here, keeping content away from players is a rather Activision/EA thing to do, isn't it? Not only are there closed-beta weapons out there that are unobtainable to players, but to put content behind a limited time paywall is... Well, Activision-esque? Just like... day one DLC, but, now you'll never be able to play on those Call of Duty maps that came with your Gamestop copy.

They are significantly different circumstances and if you can't see why then there is no hope for the future of this conversation. You choose to frame it in the way that means an injustice to you, the way I frame it is also a choice but I feel my arguement is stronger. It comes down to which is more important to you. Having a few trinkets or being able to trust DE in the future. I would gladly give up the former that I possess in order to ensure the latter.

  6. I don't know, a lot of people have been pretty level headed. At least, on the pro-rerelease side. It's mostly on the Founder's side that we see people jerking their knees in reaction to such 'injustices.'

Players supported a game that they hoped would become profitable on it's own, but refuse to share their toys?

Isn't that like... supporting a game for items, not for the game itself?

I think that's the fundamental misunderstanding. It's not about you not getting our toys it's about DE keeping a promise. I know all you see is "aww cool stuff I don't get" and don't give 2 hoots about a promise made before you even knew about the game (could be wrong about that detail it's just for arguements sake). However, there are some reasons you should. Honesty is something that the game development industry seems to lack as a whole. I say seems here because its hard to filter out Internet rage vs. reality with this subject but it definately seems to swing towards the dishonest part. What you are asking is tantamount to demanding DE join the ranks of Activision/EA who are hated with some pretty solid reasoning. It's not something I want to see happen and I doubt is something anyone really wants to see happen.

The first deception is always the hardest, the ones that follow simply flow as water.

To bring it back to the OP's topic yeah it may be hard to defend now but there was a time when many of the issues that make it so didnt exist.

  7. I feel like Tyr Regor would be the most appropriate rework, if we're tying Melee 2.0 into it. Maybe he could be this crazy melee boss, although it doesn't really fit his role as a scientist all that well.

I'd like to see some Corpus love soon, mostly for Anyo since he's just so... well, random. The Jackal's pretty great to be honest, I don't think it needs to be touched. It's got its own arena and its most certainly unique and pretty epic for new players, it being their 2nd boss.

I'm assuming a new infested boss or infested boss rework is gonna come with that tileset as well, and be the new boss for Eris. Maybe an updated Phorid, since Phorid gives the 'Saviour of Eris' Achievement despite not being Eris's boss anymore.

I think the infested stuff will be a new planet or something. Though, now that I think about it I have no idea why I think that.

  8. Why will you stop?

    - the removal of infested nodes

    What will make you stop?

    - the removal of infested nodes

What is your biggest problem at the moment?

    - no infested nodes, rng, no so much to do... since no infested nodes

    What must change?

    - infested must get their nodes back

Good news the infested are getting their own stuff.

On topic: If the devs keep going at it like they are I do not foresee a time when I will quit. I'll take hiatuses now and again to play other things but will likely always come back. The way I see it is that this game has been in development for a little over a year. Average time for a game seems to be approximately 4 years. Seeing the process as a player with constant build updates has proven to be endlessly fascinating to me. That and I'm not susceptible to butt-hurt nor do i become overly attached to anything. If something I love gets nerfed to near uselessness I find other things to love and wait for it to be changed again or not, either way it doesn't bother me.

The key is realistic expectations and the knowledge that I am not every player and because something I want doesn't get done doesn't mean DE doesn't listen to the community.

  9. What about shotguns? They haven't been addressed at all despite being a point in the last topic!

Wait, what? So it was on a hot topic (a collection of issues brought by the community and organized by the community directors to present to the devs) and you expected it to be fixed? What ever gave you that idea? That has never ever been the history how these things work. On top of that we havent had a tenno reinforcement for 2 weeks because of melee 2.0. Not trying to be a jerk but your expectation was a little unrealistic.

the problem with giving better stats to primes (i cant believe DE did not foresaw this), is lovely in practice, but there is a special prime frame that the majority of the players will never get.

so, for those who payed, would be a better version of a frame than the F2P players will never have.

i would love to have excalibro prime, i understand why is exclusive and even defend the concept, but if this is implemented those who spended money will have a better version of the original, and that is a kick in the b****.

Hate to break it to you but Excalibur prime has a higher shield recharge rate. Not by much at all but it's there.
  10. If people are willing to pay high prices, then I don't see the problem. How exactly is it extortion if the person doesn't have to buy it? They are on the trading channel because they either don't have the time to farm, don't have the keys to farm, or aren't a high enough level to manage doing T3 runs. If they aren't willing to put in the time to remedy those things, then they deserve to pay a premium.

You also have to consider how much time some of these parts take to get. I just finished building my Rhino Prime, and it took me 12 40 minute survivals to finally get the chassis. That is roughly 8 hours of playing the same monotonous mission. Had I known it would have taken that much time, I probably would buy it for under 150p. That's like half an hour of work.

The OP used the words extortion and force in order to build an emotional response in the audience. It's a nice tactic employed by news outlets and politicians who lack logical arguements. It's an open market led by supply and demand and people who don't participate aren't affected at all. In honesty I see no problems with trade as it is.

  11. Same stuff as Ash Bladestorm, will look cool but in the end of the day M2.0 wont change much. Dont expect it to be super viable because powers and range weapons will still have an edge over melee.

Simply because anything with range can kill your targets before you. And as i see it, you will need unmodded Skana to do combos, as you might oneshot mobs with your first strike anyway.

I think you may be confused as to the nature of the topic being discussed.

  12. Kogake's pretty usable already though

Fury + Berserker + True Steel + Organ Shatter + Pressure Point and proceed to go Jojo on everything in sight. Slap on other elemental mods as needed + Bane of whatever for best damage. I like to use Blast since it gives ragdoll on kill and the punches send enemies flying away even on regular attacks

Sounds awesome but you made one error. Not jojo, fist of the North Star. Respect the true master.

    ^_^

  13. Except that he's NOT. By all accounts we have so far, the Tenno that we have now have NOTHING to do with Hayden Tenno in the past. Check out Ember's lore, as has been said OVER and OVER; there's no technocyte, there's not Hayden, there are children sent (by accident or purpose we're not sure) into the Void and are twisted by it.

Well there are actually ways to reconcile all of this. You assume that embers lore can only be interpreted only one way. You assume that there's no technocyte there is nothin that would prove this. You assume the children became the Tenno. Why? That's not stated that's not even implied. They could be the first Sentients there's just as much evidence to support that.

Ultimately you and all the clan who claim that DE has stated there is no connection to DarkSector are dead wrong. Steve stated we will begin recieving details on the connection beginning next month. Sorry guys the Tenno are technocyte infected humans who aren't affected by it.

  14. One thing that comes to mind with this new melee system is actually staying on target long enough to complete a combo. Right now, if I'm standing right in front of an enemy and attack with my melee weap I might get 2, 3, possibly 4 strikes in before I have stepped too far past the foe and have to turn around to engage them again. While it's not a huge inconvenience, it currently makes it so that melee is only good for a few strikes before getting out of reach, because they will typically hit a lot harder than you do.

How does DE plan to account for this issue? Is there going to be some kind of target lock feature that would allow for the player to remain engaged in close quarters with the enemy while their melee attacks go off, or some other system to prevent sliding around and missing?

If you look at the new animations you'll see that they are adding a stagger element to Melee strikes. If it works how it did in the animations the enemies are forced back keeping them the same distance from the player. There is already a sort of lock on in the game so with the two combined it should work out quite well. They even said that things like this are essential to making Melee work. It seems to me that they have their heads on very straight in regards to this so I wouldn't worry too much.

Give the console peas- I mean, players - access to buy a founder pack for a limited time.

Reasonably speaking, if I were a strictly PS4 gamer I wouldn't dump money on microtransactions in a PC game in hopes it will eventually find it's way into my PS4.

DE gets money, PS4 users get Excal, PC users have no reason to whine. Everyone wins.

The problem here is that a considerable amount of the whining comes from the pc community who are in the same boat. Your solution would fix nothing on top of creating a subset who can then say "see you re-released it for them that's not fair" and they would actually have more of a leg to stand on than either group currently does. Plus it still breaks a promise DE made to the founders.

Which begs the question of why its acceptable to sell on the PS4, but thats a topic for another day.

It's a completely free download for anyone who wants it, all money spent is completely optional. Which begs the question why is it ok to use misinformation to construct an arguement?

Excalibur prime needs to join the ranks with the other primes on ps4.

No there is no NEED for this.

I am very excited about Rhino Prime. Great job DE listening to the players. Also I hope the Migration from PC never happens. PS4 servers already have seen many connection issues. Introducing a bunch of players, before upgrading the servers would be detrimental to the game and will cause more problems than it is worth.

If you add Migration from PC to PS4, then add an option to migrate back to PC. It is only fair.

Other than that I am very happy with update 12 and I have noticed a big improvement in server stability since last week.

There are no servers it's peer to peer. Does the ps4 version work differently?

  15. I tend to give away mods if I have extras and someone in mission says they have been having trouble finding them. If someone does this it's ok to see if they may have a few other mods you need but be polite. Also never ever go begging for plat from a generous soul. I had this happen and next time it does the person will get nothing.
