A compromise would be something like EQII has and it's broker system.

Since Warframe limits trades per day by your MR rating, the broker system fits nicely. In EQII they don't have an auction house per se. You have to travel to whoever is selling A/B/C item if you don't want to pay the 20% tax on items. This ensures people will visit their halls and show off their decorating skills.

Warframe has the clan dojo as a "hall" and a trading post for trades. Just switch out the trading post to become a vendor machine, instead. Since it's limited already to X amount of trades a day, it can become your salesman crate.

It ensures people will visit clan dojos.

It keeps the system as it basically is already.

BUT allows offline trading (and saves people looking at the trade channel and the nightmare it has become!). The filtering is needed BECAUSE OF Riven sales, and it either needs a channel all to itself (and one people can shut off if they're not buying/selling Rivens), too.

I think this is a great idea.

And for the offline trading part, it won't hurt the game because:

    • Trades are limited
    • You can only place so many items

I say if there is any sort of marketplace implemented in the game, later, then it should be something like this.

  2. Orokin Cells aren't that hard to find, I have a good amount myself. You just have to go to planets that have them (I think Saturn has some, I'll have to check when I am in game).

You can buy the forma 3 pack.

Like everyone else said just start building them once a day or so. You will be sitting on a forma throne in no time.

Formas are normally used on frames, weapons, etc that you main or really enjoy using. For Example: Lets just say that you don't like using the...Braton Prime. If you don't like it, you might just max it's mastery, and move on. You more than likely won't add a forma, because you aren't going to use this weapon very often.

As for the 24 hours, and how you can only craft one...

I would like the ability to be able to craft some more at once...Maybe you have to buy the blueprint with platinum, and the option to buy the bundle will still be there, just in case you need quick formas.

  3. I think it would be pretty cool to have some of those decorations in our ships. Of course maybe on a smaller scale, so it can fit in the ships.

Maybe they can add a ship or two that have an extra room for purely decorations, and floof storage.

Warframe was an idea before even then, although I can't remember specifics.

This is true. It has been around longer than most people may think.

Warframe has been around longer in concept(first under Dark Sector), and in product. The concepts started around 2000

Dark Sector has some of the early concepts of Warframe(Tenno, Glaive, Lotus Logo, etc). Dark Sector was finally released, in 2008, after having some struggles for years. The game had some success, so the Warframe concepts+assets were taken further and made into the game, Warframe. Warframe was finally fully released in 2013.

  5. I have also played MMORPGs for 10+ years as well as many other games for most of my life, including a lot of them where you have to level up ( including multiple skills etc).

It is also your opnion. It is supposed to be a simulation, since it is a test, and since you can find the practice test (which are also simulations).

It doesn't exactly slow you down, or hinder you. You just have to get through to the next level. You also don't have to do it if you don't want to.

You aren't tested all the time, it is just something that comes up.

If enough people want an option to surpass it, then I am fine with that. I think it should be increasing amounts of platinum as you go higher in Mastery.

I will still do the tests, without wasting my precious platinum.

Now I am going to go play Warframe shortly. I hope it works out for you.

name 1 MMO or for that matter video game that allows you to use their well-implemented auction houses/equivalents that use premium cash shop currencies?

    OSRS or OldSchool RuneScape.

Bonds/Memberships can be sold in the market(last time I was on it was 3-4 million for one), outside of the GE you have to buy them with irl money. So the only way they are on the market is because someone spent money.

Trove did too. In Trove you can buy the premium ingame currency through the well implemented marketplace, for flux ( a common currency earned ingame sort of like credits from Warframe). You can also buy them with irl money if you wanted too.

  7. I am for a Marketplace added to the game.

If you look at games like OldSchool RuneScape, you can see that the GE/market, has been around for years, and it is amazing.

Warframe isn't a small game anymore, so I think it is fair to implement a marketplace.

There should be Mastery restrictions for:

    • Getting into the Marketplace (5-10?)
    • Selling/buying prime/warframe/weapon/etc items should have the same mastery requirement as when you can equip them.
    • Also plat, if it gets included into the Marketplace. If it does there should be a platinum Mastery requirement(12-15?)
    • You can only sell/buy for the number of trades you have left that day.
    • Certain things could have a limit bought per day.
    • Should have a credit tax automatically.
  8. I disagree @BigCountry2015

I can easily see the timer, sometimes I don't even look at it, I just do the test.

Well the enemy is generally close by, so it isn't difficult to find and eliminate them.

I would think that 20+ MR Tests are more difficult simply because it is for that level of a player.

I still think the tests are fine the way they are, and don't see a way they can be changed.

  9. I got Excalibur Umbra pretty easy(quickly too), I maxed him out and moved on. I also got Garuda in a week or less(pure grinding), but that is beside the point.

I am almost at Mastery Level 15, currently working on Zephyr Prime.

Also I think the way Mastery Ranking is, is just fine. Like others have said you can practice before you do the actual test.

IMO the tests are pretty easy.

  10. Does this happen when you're in your ship? If so I have had this happen before. To get where I want(also fixes it), I just open the menu, and select Navigation for the map, or go to Arsenal etc.

This happens but not very often for me.

  11. I think each frame has a job to do. I used to main one over the other, but I find myself playing with more frames for different tilesets, and instances.

But if I have to choose:

Saryn Prime, Nezha, Rhino Prime, Garuda

    Weapons and Sentinels:

Ignis Wraith, Prisma Twin Grimlins, Destreza Prime, and a Kavat or other companion.

  12. I play Warframe on a laptop, integrated intel gpu + i3 (need to upgrade lol).

I use an xbox one controller(most of the time) along with my mouse and keyboard of course.

I have all my graphic settings at the lowest possible setting, so I can play the game. I have problems loading into Fortuna, and sometimes other places but that is about it.

Make sure to turn off Windows Defender(you shouldn't have more than one antivirus if any), and keep an eye on your processes through Task Manager from time to time. Windows update, superfetch, and similar processes will hinder your gameplay. Make sure to keep background processes to a minimum, so like don't have youtube, spotify, 20 tabs on google open while you're playing Warframe.

(Don't forget to turn said processes/services if you need them)

  13. Play style is on the preference of the player. I think Saryn is perfectly fine.

I have even seen frames that I don't exactly prefer being used to their advantages, and the way it is done is efficient. I think it is okay.

I think a player should play as any frame they want. Personally Saryn Prime is my favorite frame(also my 1st prime), and has been for a long time. I find her play style to be very useful, and it is something that I simply prefer.

I have been trying out other frames too, other than Saryn, so I can gain mastery(almost at 15) and see what else I like and so far my 2nd favorite has to be Nezha.

It is just all in how you build the frame, what mission you're doing, and how you play.

  14. Some players may appear AFK in fortuna, because they are still loading into the area. I play on a laptop with an integrated gpu and an i3 (occasional rough connection too), so I usually load into the 2nd, 3rd, or even later bounty in Fortuna (and yes I play on the lowest settings possible). I have had people get extremely annoyed and impatient, and I've explained to them that I'm not intentionally AFK. I even closed out the game once, so a player could keep his loot. So if you see me or another player appearing to be AFK, we may just need to get an upgrade.

  15. @Varsuk I have all my settings at the lowest possible setting, maybe try to lower some. It could also be, constantly searching Windows processes(or anything running in the background), your internet connection, Windows Defender, connection, etc.

  16. I think they would rather spend their wonderful riven money on a bundle or something else.

I would imagine players would do the same kind of sabotage on warframe.market or ingame chat? But if they did this on the market, you could grind for the item and sell it for more profit if it is being sold at a higher price. If it is lower the market will correct itself after some time.

Also I'm not saying they should remove trade chat or Maroo's Bazaar, I just think it would be great to additionally have a market system.

I think Mastery Rank trade limits are good, and could be used for marketplace limits. They could also have an items limit. So you couldn't just buy excessive amounts of rivens, or prime parts a day.

There should also be a credits tax or something for placing an item for sale, and buying. Just like there is in trades.

Yes, and a higher sale was made. Making this integration would mean prices will be posted up for everyone to see, and would not fluctuate as easily unless you have the Platinum to nudge it from a set amount. Thus easier for the rich or crafty to manipulate.

    So no,still don't like it.

Nothing wrong with that. Yes it would be for everyone to see, and I disagree.

Warframe is not a small new game. It has loads of players, new to veteran. It would take a good amount of people to seriously ruin a market item.

Like I said anyways, markets do fluctuate. Chat trades, marketplace, auction house, in any of it there are going to be ups and downs.

Auction House requires a huge investment into the economy of the game. From either +/- the resources for crafting to the drop rate of the item, this would put a strain on the DE team. I have seen games struggle with this and to this day cant get a handle on it. When you put an economy in the hands of its players ( more encourage in this sense) you are asking for market manipulation and fluctuation with your in-game currency.

Market crashes and then the rich get richer and the poor stay poor....

There are plenty of games that don't struggle with their marketplace economy ingame. I think this is game is big enough to handle a marketplace.

Just think people use a third party site (warframe.market) for some of their trades, and the economy is still fine. So why not implement an official marketplace?

The market can go up and down, that is just how it works. I have seen prices go up and down naturally, anyways. Supply and demand.

    21 hours ago, Teliko_Freedman said:

    I don't like it.

I used a similar system in Phantasy Star Online 2.

By setting a low price you can make your listing show up in every search and become the new standard price. Which hurts the whole bartering aspect of trade chat.

Then there are some people who set a higher price, and buy out all the lowest prices below. Making their price the new lowest, and they have plenty more to resell at new price as a result.

So, no. Not interested in this idea.

That is a possibility, but that is still happening ingame. I have seen players offer a price in chat, then not too long later a bunch of players have it at a lower or higher price.

The same thing could happen on warframe.market or anywhere ingame.

A good example of a stable great game economy is in OldSchool RuneScape, and it has a live marketplace.
