    It's so simple to understand with minor linguistic skill required.... anyways. Yes. That is the case. And this thread is to question if people experience the same problem and this being potentially a bug that can break limbo in a bad way. Maybe potentially a fix as well.

    Sadly no feedback on that, but now that I have some more clarity on the question I asked originally, maybe someone might have solution. Who knows

    Personally I think duality should have its small delay before you can use your skill again though. When you're switching form like that, most likely its because you feel the damage shouldn't be used by mend/maim and should be used for the other one. That means you're almost kind of forced into using it in a different form urgently... like emergency heal with mend when your life is in danger.

    Overall, removing duality delay is a great QoL change that should happen anyways... Maybe we can even see something done with the fusioned state we see briefly when duality is activated. Mend + Maim. Sleep + Damage vulnerability. Defense + Ability STR. All the goodness.

    And I think it should be something by default altogether, the augment idea you have of course. It just seem so obvious that it should be like that

  3. Hi! I'm sorry to have check the thread so much later. I thought I worded that out clear enough so I just need the answers later

    Anyways, @(PS4)JimsonWeeder explained cataclysm exactly as what I think it does, so no inconsistency there. My problem is that I can't hurt enemies in the rift or cataclysm while I myself is in cataclysm.

    I believe it is not a flaw in my gameplay since I'm perfectly inside a max range cataclysm and I can't melee enemies frozen in there (and the fact that they're frozen and I can't use my weapon means we're both in the rift, right?)

  4. After reviewing the ability without killing myself out of anger of how annoying that thing is when you're not the limbo in control, cataclysm seem kinda buggy.

    And before anything I know stasis make your gun death trap (I mean just remove the "trap" part, will ya DE. It's more lethal. Consider it a buff) and melee still work

    Anyways, cataclysm supposedly create an area which is always inside the rift. Even if you try to rift to material as Limbo, you get instantly rifted back into the rift when you're in Cataclysm.
    Consequentially, that also mean as long as you're in the radius of cataclysm, every entity in there is on a same plane, thus being able to hurt each other. That is... not the case. Most of the time.

    If, in case I didn't miss something and Cataclysm "supposedly" work as I described (everything is rifted) and Limbo is actually suffering from a bug, it should be looked at since it's probably 90% reason why Limbo shouldn't exist in co-op play. It's really unfair for the Limbo player to be limited to solo if they want a piece of mind. He's so cool as well :(

    So many responses trying to help the dude even when you know how ignorant and self-centered his arguments are. I even gave up half way reading this thread because holy hell there's a lot of responses. Shame that some efforts can fall on deaf ears

    Still, Octavia being a more flexible Loki just feels like low-effort (who am I kidding the Octavia kit's design is amazing) power creep

    Well, when this action is negligible with a proper mandachord setup (I set my mandachord with constant notes so you can't miss the beat. Ever. And you're constantly refreshing invisible either at will or slide attacking, while still invisible...)

    The reason I say she overshadow him is because they are fundamentally different in a way that if loki's kit include A, B, C then Octavia's kit include A, B, C, D, E. I would not mind if a frame has just C overlap or nothing overlapping at all but still insanely strong...

  9. Nope, I'm not the one comparing them.

    Why? I'm not confident in my experience with both of them. Speaking solely on statistic just feels baseless to me. So I think I'll try and ask of more experienced player that have more playtime on those frame and their different alternating playstyles compare them... to see who is better than who at which role, which objectives, etc...

    I started the thread because Octavia to me feels like she's threatening Loki's role in the roster (power creep). I'm not for nerfing any strong frame, but it's a different case when frame B's kit is overshadowing frame A's kit at so many things. (Being strong and completely overstepping a frame's role is different).

    Here's my argument just from my little playtime with both and how they operate (My mods are very standard meta setup, except I can set speedrun setup for Loki)

    Just Octavia's 3 (specifically its invis aspect) to me is overshadowing loki's entire kit. Not just his 2. Here's why for me:

    - Decoy has no reason to draw aggro when your entire team can be non-aggroable (refreshable on the run, effectively infinite invis)
    - You have no reason to have a(n extremely) shorter duration invis that can't be refreshed when metronome... you know.
    - You have no reason to make one teammate invincible for ~10 second when nothing shoot at your entire team
    - You have no reason to disarm everyone except for increasing CO's effect a bit if nothing is shooting at anything...

    Sads.

    I've played around before dec 2017 a bit (roughly 60 days now) which is really close to you, so I can really compare myself to what you're thinking. Nah.

    I'm a hoarder pretty much, I've gotten every non-quest-bound frame (not prime, which also 3 prime frames, but I only use bansheep and sold valkyrp and miragep. Explains how i get the slots for all those LOL), unlocked almost every nodes in the star chart, working pretty far into focus (although not Quills rep, Cetus kills my laptop lol), unlocking more and more weapon (mostly for MR fodder. I'm trying to find my favorite weapon to use. Full forma-ing pretty much all the m e t a weapons so I can just focus and finding an enjoyable playstyle.)

    But

    Trust me. It is. Still. So. Far. Away. From. Being. Done.

    Helios can use em to codex complete but it doesn't give the bonus rep and can't scan synthesis spots on a target.

  12. This might seem like an extra $&*&*#(%& question but are the synthesis scanners capable of filling codex like, a codex scanner. Also when heliosp use it is it the same (I know it doesn't give rep. sads)

    Why this sound $&*&*#(%& is because I we all can just outright buy enough codex scanner for the entire game (lol). But I like the absolute infinity of the sol-battery synthesis scanner instead. I'm that kind of person (sadly)

    E: Maybe more clear on the question: Can the synthesis scanner functionally work as a codex scanner?

  13. Intriguing datas. Well, whichever way finisher work, the comparison (between different finishing speed) still stand true, and is still an unnecessary complaint on my end... I made the dagger to be fastest as epidemic vessel anyways, if I can get it. Dagger is still pretty bad either way. I just want the only merit to it get stronger.

  14. This is something really petty and mostly QoL to rant about but here's something anyways.
    I fully acknowledge this. It's majorly petty.

    The fastest dagger in the game right now is a zaw dagger, with 1.25 attack speed. Gild does not change this.
    And if you know anything about daggers, Covert Lethality is pretty much the only thing holding them up.

    Now I was leveling a Dark Sword for MR on adaro with equinox, simply because it's 29 and I can't be bothered to do Hydron. FYI it's base attack speed is 0.833. The finisher prompt on that weapon. Is. Higher. Than. The. Mother@(*()$. Zaw. (Which takes an obnoxious amount of time to get if you're not too far into cetus rep, which take even more time just standing around fishing for rep...). Now, it's not instant kill per se, but unless it's a Nox, something obnoxiously good against melee finisher, A simple, no forma broken war (best of swords) which you get for free, with free catalyst and everything. And it's faster than the Dark Sword. Can pretty much down anything on the star chart. Even sortie, albeit maybe not on eximi. Which if you're on sorties, the last thing you want is get in people's face unless you're practically invincible or just absolutely invincible anyways.

    So in conclusion, the swifty swift weapon that's meant to utilize its one shot capability really nice and quick is slower than something not too far behind. Major sed. So sed. And petty. Sorry.
    Daggers aren't too bad just straight up damage btw, due to their insane stances with multihit and multipliers on every hit. But honestly, if you want damage, so many more can do that.

  15. What's your opinion on this? Personally for me Ordis is (by far) the best character in the game. He's just too adorable and lovable and adorable and lovable. I said that twice. I wonder what's with storywriters always making great AI characters...

    First time (maybe the only time) Ordis narrates your missions (for me) is during The Limbo Theorem and it was just so, so, so, so, so, so fuckin great. It's just.... amazing. If you love this adorable orokin mass of data, go do that quest.
    And let's be honest here, I  h a t e  Lotus' narratives with a burning passion, and I'd really rather the samurai old man or the tsundere cephalon to narrate for me at this point....

    Generally sentinel should survive for vacuum / emergency shield so I avoid weapons on them but I guess that work as well. @-@
    Besides, I did try to test the damage of EB, and at sortie level this can handle stuff no problem.

    I wish they'd buff his 3 to be more defensive because his 2 is the only lifeline that's way too inconsistent because of the OBNOXIOUSLY long cooldown... RJ atm is something for clearing the trashest of trash mob, even then the LoS thing is all jerky and the target limit is more annoying than you think.

  17. Bug: Artemis bow hitbox is extremely glitchy and does not hit the enemy on the reticle or indicated visually by arrow trails. Including targets I put to night night, line up nicely on the reticle and still, won't get hit. It is 17 arrow lined up on one charger's face. For a frame that either kill a @&#(&*@#$# before the @&#(&*@#$# kills you, my god it's annoying.

    Replication: Hit 4 and start shooting

    Bug: Navigator won't let you slow down your projectile. Not sure about the speeding option, but the one that matters is broke. Please.

  18. A lot of materials dug up about pure elemental weapons tells me that the element mixing is done as if the weapon's element is added last.
    Well, it's not hard to imagine but there's not a lot of confirmations on how 4 elemental mods mix with this (apparently you get 3 mixed element, can't remember where I read this)
    E.g. it's easy to tell that elec + tox + cold on S&A prime will give you corro + blast, and that IS the case.
    But will heat + elec + tox + cold produce rad + viral + heat  or  rad + viral + blast.
    Just got Condition Overload, must say it's quite radical. Totally having a blast. I can see how this mod is so viral. Extra lit I must say.

    500 is an exaggeration, but it's probably somewhere around the entire magazine. I know it has a weak point but not sure where. Yeah, it was a no forma VHek, still pretty fuckin solid though so you can't say it's not still absurd

    Also, hysteria is pretty different from a melee considering I wailed on that *@##$ with melee for 3 minutes after I running out of ammo as well. The build was pretty close to the one I use as an exalted melee vessel
