You are correct on the cap and the input lag.

it just cap fps on your monitor refresh rate

Well, when I tried it out sometimes the fps would fly up to 100 for some reason even though im using a 60 monitor.

Secondly, is there any impact on performance at all or is it just a fps cap?

  2. Your main objective imo is probably the star chart. As in, doing junctions and such. The junction requires you to play the main quest which will give you plenty of enjoyment of the lore and a very useful mechanic that goes a long way to end game (eidolons).

The dex sybaris can carry itself to lategame. For the contents in the star chart, it's no problemo. Weapons was a problem for me when I started. Must be nice. Dex dakra can mod for your exalted blade as well.

On the exalted blade note, in order to utilize your warframe for effectively, look up to do orokin derelict vault. It'll give you essential mods. You can also snoop around in trade and sell them for an ok amount of plats. Although until you get energy bubble or energize (which I assure you you won't have for a pretty long time) you won't be using your ability that much

Plats side, relic runs for prime part will carry you far enough for extra slots.

Potato, look out for dev streams because surely there will be potato alert for the grab.

  3. Right so I never used vsync because afaik it's a fps cap that goes along with your monitor refresh rate

I was messing around with it the other day and put it on "on" which after that, my frame sometimes go past the supposed monitor cap (60) and a slight amount of input lag.

What's the effect of vsync on 1> performance and 2> quality. Performance-wise particularly with effects on fps and its stability

There's also an "auto" option. IDK what that is for.

  4. Mesa is bae. And because she's just strong I guess. She's one of the room clearing frame that's less potent but more comfortable. You can play her as a weapon holder as well as shatter shield just doesn't give a fucc. Mod for a critical pistol and you're set.

Other than that Titania is highly enjoyable for me personally because archwing gimmick with the god slayer dex pixia is pretty fun.

Inaros is your friendly neighbourhood weapon carrier. Forget about the frame and just go around shooting stuff. Vitality + gladiator resolution, 5k health.

Equinox is a very quick and potent nuking frame with a Maim build. Enjoyable if you just want to speed through a corpus or low grineer mission

Octavia is down right broken with being a VERY strong buffer (if you consider both defensive and offensive and even energy she gives, she competes with resonance with its massive offensive boost, no problem). She's also the queen of afk camping, if you enjoy that. Basically THE strongest frame in the game imo.

  5. I mean realisticly as long as it works for whatever purpose you're trying to do, it's kewl. Some of these build looks confusing to me as to why it's that way (I'm just a meta b!tch that mod stuff that makes my life easy) but can't help in the first place because there's no context to which build is meant to do what.

4 ability per warframe, make that 3 usable per warframe and you can push out roughly 2-3 builds per frame for different purposes, even then you can make it pretty niche and unique by yourself.

I'll also comment on the broken continuity in one of the screenshot *chuckles*

  6. With the balance change having mr requirement organized to get a better progression, it would also means stronger weapon have higher mr requirement.

Riven mods, being band-aids for nonviable weapons should then adhere to the mr lock (as in dispo gets lower as weapons have higher mr requirement)

It's like giving less food to the more obese kid

    Does that make sense?

Either that or work on fixing the "popularity" thing because we all know it's bull

  7. It's ok. Your volt is *kof* as strong as you behind his shield and you're the "designated" dps so no problem.

Usually I run only with stretch, and that makes 79% range. If you think that's low, it's more than enough. Volt shields are like rallying flags, and they generally stay close together.

If you feel like it, throw out augur message for augur reach. It's whatever really. Eidolon health is easy. The shield is always the problem.

Edit: My chroma build is BR TF Intensify AMessage for STR. NM PCont for DUR. Vit for Health. Stretch for range.
pflow is irrelevant, using madurai or unairu

  8. I'm pretty dried out on what to do. I'm lazy to invest my time in something that takes longer or involves just idling around (ostron, trading, etc etc)

Suggest me a few ideas of what to do.

I can split up a bigger goal and work slowly as well. Worked well for the whole eidolon - focus business. I'm happy I don't need to touch that S#&$ again (until I eventually decides I'll touch that S#&$ again just to complete everything)

(Irrelevant) I also apologize to everyone I inconvenienced with my S#&$ty rig while I did all of the eidolon stuff. Dc'ing sucks for me as well. I just needed to get that out (hah)

  9. Mod~ your~ weapons~ (and frames)

You got the dex sybaris with free catalyst so weapons and slot availability isn't an excuse. Mods mods mods mods.

Ask for some free vital stuff like split chamber. Orokin container give some nice essentials. Orokin derelict vault is absolutely needed for a good warframe build

    Wiki for drop tables.

    etc etc

  10. Arcane in loadout

    Raids are gone

You sit near a lake for 50m fishing

    You kill overgrown trees

You make stuff that requires stuff from withering your life away fishing and stuff that drop from overgrown tree to make killing overgrown trees faster. Repeat the cycle.

You get focus from killing Dolans. Which make killing Dolans easier.

    Uninstall recommended

  11. Errrmmm so, I want to get this straight. How many Brilliant and Radiant shard do you get every hydrolyst capture? It seems I always get 3B - 2R but I got 4B - 2R a few time for some reason (first time was when I notice the shards count when converting focus, second time was on the screen reward)

Alternatively, I was drunk so correct me. I just want confirmation.

    Love, Cheese

  12. Polarizing stuff is mostly to your freedom. Here's some suggestions

Excal has the freedom to use either steel charge or corrosive projection. I think if you want less forma then go with steel charge, although my logic is that 1> you're not always in exalted blade or attacking with your melee and 2> chromatic blade is INSANELY strong, which to the point that most enemies are too weak, and at the point where enemy have some resistance, cp generally works the same or better than steel charge for its armor stripping effect ; and so it's why I'd recommend cp. Besides, a dash polarity always is more flex than a V.

Think about different builds you have. Don't polarize the same mark over many slots. Excal I think is more V and - because the D you get at the start can fit in pretty much the only D mod you need which is vitality or pvigor; Vs fit in strength mod and pcont which is needed for an efficient build; -'s will fit in augur mods, stretch and efficiency - very much needed for your survivablity by spamming stuns

    and augment won't save you

I don't get your point. The augment is literally what you're proposing, with a bit of cc.
Did you seriously just veto yourself

For the stacking half you proposed, nova can get 17 null stars on one cast no problem.

  14. It's ideal where it's at imo where you can recast it if you want with an augment. If you're in a mission where your life is on the line, generally you're priming them to slow, so your survivability isn't all that bad. Augment is like an optional increase in your survivability. You can't blame anyone if you're speedva on a hard mission and die instantly the moment you lose a few null stars

  15. After playing around on hydron until max gild, void strike boost either the piercing shell or the grenade explosion so it's kinda tricky to get the most damage. Any tips on where I should position my operator and reticle to get the most out of shraksun during the shield phase (3 eidolons have different sizes so if you have some variation here and there I'd be glad to know). Prism is granmu sadly. Suck with void strike hahah.

  16. You have a lot of liberty of what you want to do. TBH firstly go to the warframe wiki and just check everything you want to know. This is the baseline, warframe isn't transparent to players at all, at least in-game that is.

If you have trouble with credits, there are missions on every planets called dark sector (look up on wiki as well, you know the drill when you don't understand stuff) that gives you respectable amount.

Burn duplicate mods for endo or excavation rotation reward (not sure about the second one).

Look up how to do orokin derelict vault because that's where you get your best mods...

Look up a few prime sets that you feel is available for you to work toward then sell them for plats for more warframe slots, etc etc. Weapons, frames is all to your liberty. Mods are what makes them them. Although as always, Rhino + Hek is always THE newbie meta.

Look out for potato alerts and invasions as well, those are extremely useful.

I don't quite know what the hell I did, it just went by really quickly then you have your own freedom to do the what ever the hell you want pretty quickly.

Some mods are more abundant than you think, ask for players if they can give you because I'm sure someone is sitting on top of 100 split chambers or something (lol)
