I recently discovered they don't need a toilet and  i think it's a great power.

Lol unless a game is a hardcore survival game.  Food, sleep, bio break, etc. Aren't a factor.

Technically the operaters physicsl bodies don't matter.  As beings of the void. As long as thier minds and wills remain they can make whatever body they please.

I've always wondered how long the tenno live for and one day wont they all be dead due to old age? Or will they go back into cryo sleep when they get oldish so they dont have to worry about mental degradation or passing away

The operaters bodies can die infinitely but their minds are part of the void.  If their will is strong we could be like vor.  Our minds will go on forever and can simply create a new body at woil if we choose.

Or we could be like harrows operater and go insane and be consumed by the void.

  3. The operators are beings of the void.  Over time and gaining control of the void means they can be infinitely powerful.  Take on whatever form they want at will.

But the power is a double edged sword.  Loosing control of it will kill us and all around us.  The more we use the greater the strain and risk.

The chains of harrow is what happens when a tenno taps too deeply into the void for centuries.

The harrow quest, both dream quests, the sacrifice, and umbra excaliber all give us lore dumps.

Even void corrupted vor gives us insight.

  4. either way its a game.  My fellow players, geeks, and nerds.  Enjoy what you enjoy fashion frame and customize as you please.  The larger variety and freedom of choice we have the better.

There are a plethora of skins, animations, and syandanas to tinker with.

  5. I personally have no beef with nightwave. I like them better then alert and its easier to complete them now then when they first started. If players want they can stretch them out.  Its not really a issue.  And its a good thing we got this mini intermission nightwave.  So we can still get key resources from it.

Poster maybe warframe is just stale for you.  Go play a different game.  Do something fun in real life. Find a new hobby.  Learn an instrument or skill.  The internet has an never ending number of things to do.

  6. As peoples photos have pointed out chaps don't cover the butt and a long coat has a slit.Having dangling cloth that could get stuck on stuff well herding dangerous large animals would be a bad idea.  More then anything mesa's design was made to look cool/sexy.  Its marketing 101.  Mesa has a variety of skins if you don't like her showing off a shapely butt.  We have a plethora of syandanas to cover her butt if you wish.

Choose a different skin then toggle prime parts her butt becomes less obvious.  I personally love her prime skin just the way it is and want to see her fine rear end well playing.

The best thing about game is when we have actual choices.  Mods, deep character creator features, transmog,, skins, etc. Collect the skins and choose whatever we like.  Everyone wins.

So tired of people pushing agendas or crying about "its too sexy".  Its a game we have options for a reason.  Don't go arguing for realism when games are not meant to be realistic at all.  Attractive characters and trope fantasy armor is there because its appealing and sells to the market.  A good game design should allow everyone to have freedom of choice

Consider the difficulty of animating cloth and moving parts in game and the clipping issues they create.  Its perfectly fine for games to have attractive characters with a wide variety of options to tweak them to our individual tastes.  In fact its expected in this day and age.  Games which refuse to make things look good or have deep customization have failed to meet the standard.

Look at wisp and her butt.  When people panicked over her hip sway we got a cloth that sorta covers her but up.  But this cloth clips with most of the games syandanas and looks awful.  By using her agile animation set alone we run into even more clipping.  I admit her hip movement was excessive when it was first shown off.  But look at what bigger issues came from her new butt curtain.

Because we have 2 animation sets per frame that can be opened up for use on any other frame.  De had an easy solution.  Have her agile animation have more hip movement then her noble animation.  IF players don't like either they swap out the animations to something else.Make her butt curtains a optional thing like what we see with nekros or valkyr.  Players can choose to cover her butt if they like with a long syandana.  Why take a chainsaw to the issue when you only need an exacto knife.

In regards to fantasy armor tropes.  Often the characters exist in a world with magic where the laws of physics as we know them don't exist.  Armor is thus magical in design.  Regardless of how much it covers or doesn't it creates a magical shield on its user.  Said shield absorbs hits and regenerates naturally.  Meaning the fighter must dodge, block, and parry to give the magical field time.  The lighter you are and more easily you can move the longer you'll survive against the enemies who are the size of a building and trying to hit you with objects the size of a bus or magical spells.

and blunt answer marketing 101 sex sells to everyone equally.

  7. As others stated caches and ghouls are the only ways to get extract till more nightwave stuff. Which to be fair sucks since the drop rates are bad.  But once we get more nightwave seasons and you can again mass farm medals and you can exchange medals for extract.  I suggest stockpiling when you get the chance as we get more seasons.  I stockpiled extract, reactors, and catalysts.  For players that have been playing and grinding for a long time the only use for the medals is literally extract and reactors/catalysts.

I personally feel like the medals for extract is a better system then how they where alert rewards that where only up for 45 minutes.  Most of the time i would be asleep, at work, or just away and unable to do said alerts.

As long as there isn't too big a down time between seasons I think this system works better for the game in the long run.

  8. As others have said I don't think it would work well.  Due to balance issues, ping, and more.  I personally wouldn't hate the option even with the issue so long as it was a simple toggle.  I don't generally enjoy pvp in games so having the option to opt out of it is a good thing.

But really with all the other stuff happening in the game and issues others have mentioned with pvp.  I don't think working in pvp would be worth de's time.  I would rather they work on more deluxe skins, major patches, prime accesses, maybe overhauling operators so they have better customization, etc.

I don't consider pvp content to be something worth while and worth de's time.

  9. All i have to say is I am super excited for mesa prime access. The warframe model looks great as do the weapons we are getting. Can't wait for redeemer prime.  All around I am excited for the patches and things coming in warframe especially as a console player.

I generally like mesa as a frame but outside of her deluxe skin the rest of her other skins where just meh to me.  But this takes the cake.  She's amazing keep it up DE.

I hope we  get something as equally as amazing for her accessory pack.  And ideally i cant wait for more tennogen stuff on console.  I need the new titania and equinox skins from tennogen round round 14 (i think) on console.

Still drooling over and can't wait for titania and nyx deluxe skins as well.

Gosh i hope when we get equinox prime access shes as stunning as mesa prime.  All and all happy i got into warframe and generally its a fun game to play.  If i had to pick on something about the game.  I would say the operator customization and utility needs more attention.  Perhaps as time goes on we can get more in depth options for operator mode

Again good work de and keep kicking arse.

  10. So logically it makes sense to me that building a decent amp for Operator mode makes sense so i can do worthwhile damage to edolions.  However I don't understand zaws.  They require even more farming of rep and materials then crafting a decent amp.

Yet as far as i have been able to gather are not a weapon for operator mode and stat wise are not really any better then a primed and formad melee weapon on ones warframe.  So can someone explain to me why one should grind and craft a zaw?  Wont it function the same or worse then my normal melee weapons?

  11. Same can't log in.  I was literally playing the game a few hours ago and poof can't log in now.

Hopefully its just a simple goof on the servers and not say a hacker or something. Given i'm not the only one a hacker is unlikely though.
