Limbo, Volt, Mesa, Rhino/Chroma. I know a lot of people will say "Wisp" but I don't see her offering as much to a hyper-optimized team. A casual team sure, but an optimized team can move faster and CC harder with Volt, and Volt's shield combos with Roar/Vex Armor for massive damage

Hmmm, good point.  I hadn't thought about volt using the vex buff to cc the sentients.  And yeah, although wisp makes you fast, the burst of speed from volt is much more for moving between condrix.   Although the constant health buff and regen from wisp is nice, shields give you basically a free life with gating.   Can't remember the last time I used his 1 but doesn't that now have an aug for an extra 100% electric damage when cast on teammates?  That's be nice.

    I'll try this, thank you.

  2. I run ground and I've found the most efficient way to get points is to do 3 different flotillas in each session.

The first two flotillas, you do 2 runs - the first to 17 and the second you go to round 9.  That gets you 5k points for the full bonus should the flotilla complete enough murex.   This has never failed to happen for me yet as for the first two there's plenty time for the flotilla to complete.

On the third flotilla you do two full runs of 17.  This one can be tight for the flotilla to complete so you don't always get the bonus but if we're sending enough kill codes it usually makes it.  It all depends on there being enough space teams here though.

    From all of this you get 5k + 10k x 3 = 45k for three flotillas.

You need a pretty sweaty team to do all this but I've managed it a few times with random players in recruiting.   Best squad set up I've found is slowva, wisp, limbo and a high dps frame, chroma works well once his vex is charged and because there's usually 3 players right together dps'ing the condrix all getting his buff.   Wisp is awesome for killing the sentients - just cast breach surge every time they spawn in to stun them and do a ton of damage.   A bit of range on wisp is therefore good, you don't need max strength.   With the other three getting a huge buff from chroma the waves go damn fast.

Time wise 27-30 mins for 17w and 15 mins for 9w.  By the time you leave relay, re-invite the squad and move to next flotilla that's about 50-55 mins for the first two.  That should leave you with roughly 75 mins on the third, ample time for two full runs.

What's your sweatiest strategy for max points?

When u will play with a flotille where its more space squad u will understand

I've seen both, plus it changes over the course of the session.   You'd have to limit ground and space teams and that's not a good idea.

It's unfortunate,  but most players do not have fully ranked railjacks

  4. Nah, I enjoy the game.

If you think nothing will ever change in 4 years you're kidding yourself.

Melee weapons got an (almost) universal buff.  Ember can nuke whole rooms but you actually have to play her now.  Plague zaws are still op, even with riven nerfs (and I have good rivens for kripath and keewar).  Limbo is still op for SS, it just doesn't make the whole game afk.

It's an ever evolving game as it has to be.  The meta has to change from time to time or boooooring.

If you want to play a game that has no evolution and is static, then yeah, maybe wf has run its course for you.  Or maybe you need to take a break.  A well worn line on these forums, I know, but possibly good advice nonetheless.

  5. Just wanted to say thanks to all the PC players for suffering through what sounded like some horrible bugs so that we console players can get a waaaay more polished event.

I've been running ground missions pretty hard and racking up those points, fastest time for a 17 condrix run so far is 27.17, marginal gains still to be made.   In all the runs I've done I've not really had any bugs!  A couple of host migrations but that's more likely caused by the host's crappy internet.

Despite all the doom and gloom in the forums about the event, I'm really enjoying it.  Not to say I won't be tired of it in a month of course, but as someone who really never enjoyed eidolons I'm loving the opportunity to get all the arcanes I've always wanted.

Anyway, thanks again pc tenno, your efforts are greatly appreciated.

  6. Not a problem imo.

You see a wukong with a bramma in 2/3 missions?  Really?   I done maybe 20-30 missions last night and never had this once.  Saw plenty bramma's ofc, but it's a fun weapon.

Let players play what they want. I don't support nerfs.  Plus it's only a problem for a few minutes.

I was doing hydron last night with a mirage using acceltra with a bright energy colour.  Was honestly hilarious, couldn't see squat and so much camera shake it was like being in the centre of an earthquake.  Didn't bother me a bit and the mirage was obviously having a ball so all's good.

For some weird reason, I've never really considered those mods in any of my builds tho.

They're 2 of the strongest mods in game!  With condition overload u have the holy trinity of scaling damage.

Don't get hung up on just having the biggest numbers possible on your stat screen.   Learn the best damage types to use.  What status and crit actually mean.   What your combo counter means.

I don't talk about builds outside DMs tho. Because very time I do, it gets me some heat because people don't really like my views on how to mod frames. Which also means pretty much come up with builds all on my own (I usually don't use 'pro builds' either).

And for example with Nova, the way I mod her, she isn't really tanky and the way to change that goes against my ideas for how to build frames.

It's your frame and up to you how to mod it, but if you don't like to take advice or have your builds critiqued, there's not much anyone can do to help.

For nova, get the augment mod for her first ability, that's it really.   You can do a slowva build but that depends on if you want to slow everything down to a crawl - generally not appreciated in most pub missions unless for something like interception.   Definitely don't use a slowva in survival or defence lol.

You're the one saying you have trouble with higher level content, probably 60+ by the sound of it.   That isn't high level tbh.   Maybe try and find an experienced player in game who will talk you through some builds because if you want to feel comfortable doing arbi's, I think you'll need to take some friendly advice and maybe try making a few changes.

    Up to you though.

  9. Tank frames are great, the three you listed are among my faves.

Face tanking bombard rockets only gets you so far though.

Nova and banshee can also tank btw, while at the same time giving insane damage buffs, especially banshee.

Put a balanced build on banshee with decent efficiency.   Then use her 2 and her 3.   It can get a bit silly.

I mainly have Grace and Energize to put on my frames. My other arcanes are mainly those I bought from Onkko or Zuud.

I don't own either of those so you got one over me there.  You don't really need them either.

Move away from rhino.  His iron skin becomes a crutch and if you don't notice it's gone, you're dead.

  11. Practice.

You say you don't go solo past Jupiter.   Go further and test yourself.   That's the only way you will learn, you can't rely on being carried through everything past level 30.

Go to one of the higher planets, choose a dark sector survival, take nekros and your best melee.   See how far you can go.   You'll probably surprise yourself.

  12. Let's be honest, inaros is the laziest frame out there.  Just a walking (massive) pile of health.   He's boring af but ideal for all those who want to play the game while watching Netflix.

Inaros players telling others to "git gud", ha, what a laugh.   Go do 2 hrs in mot with banshee and no arcanes.

  13. According to the financial results posted by Leyou, they're supposed to be releasing a new open world this year.

Dunno if duviri will count as open world or if we're gonna get an infested planet.

As for longer term, wf will last for years, despite all the negativity on the forums.   I've taken a couple of breaks over the last year as have many of my clan members, but we all keep coming back.   There's just something about the core gameplay and movement.

DE know possible to put back the old melee system please

DE will definitely read your post, take on board all the valid reasons you gave for changing things and we can expect a full roll back of every melee change from the last 6 months in the next mainline.

So, from looking at these accounts for Leyou, not de, the following should be noted.....

Group revenue was down by 12ish%, mainly due to a drop in revenue in warframe.   Note, revenue does not equal profit.

Total group profit for the year ending 31 dec 2019 was down by $20 million.

During the year admin costs(primarily staff costs) were up by $15m and marketing went up by $8m.   There was also a significant swing in currency exchange income, going from a profit of $6m in 2018 to a loss in 2019.  These figures are for Leyou, not de.

While wf has undoubtedly not performed as well in 2019 as it has in 2018, there are NO actual accounts in this document for de as a separate company.   All the figures given are for the group.

I can't see any financials in that document that deal with de specifically.  All the figures are for leyou, the parent company.

Only mention of de was saying revenue increased by 1.something % over the same period the previous year.

If, im wrong, tell me the page it details de's accounts as I'd be interested to have a look.

  17. So, looks like de completely missed the mark with the amount of grind AGAIN !!!

A 3 condrix run gets approx 90 creds.  A bronze arcane at r0 costs 1k.  So roughly 11 runs for 1 r0 arcane.  And you need 21 of them !!! LMFAO

So, they've quadrupled the price shown on the dev stream.   Where are the de defenders now who were saying "b.b.but it's a dev build, rebecca said it was still to be balanced..."

Not gonna lie, wf is my main game by a country mile but if those prices/rewards are right, this sucks the big one.

  18. What I want to know is, do you need to have a RJ team and a ground team already set up in order to play?

Or will it be that you just choose if you want to do RJ or ground, then join a pug team for your choice and you get matched randomly with the other team, be that rj or ground.

I expect waaaaay more people will want to play ground team than rj.   I can see a bottleneck for match making being a problem.

    Think it looks fun though.

    power

    And MOOAARR POWER

Becoming as powerful as possible, adding a power cherry on top then drizzling it with power cream.

I want some things to be challenging but mostly I like to relax and just annihilate my enemies.

To create builds that make my frame omnipotent

    And look cool doing it
