  1. After experimenting several survival, either infested or corpus or grineer, this specific mission on mars, feels like its unbalanced or bugged.

     

    Why?

    Because its more hard to get true the first 10 to 15 minutes then to stay after that.

    Not because of enemy difficulty, but because of life support capsules.

     

    In the First 15m "lotus" or the game, is dropping so few life support capsules, that its almost impossible to reach 10 or 15m.

    Wile this appends, because of the delay of when each capsule is given, every-time you activate one, your at 10% less oxygen then the last time you activated one, until you activate one with 10% oxygen, and the next one will not come in time for the survival to continue.

    Also, during this 10 to 15m, so few enemies appear, you can not get enough personal life support caps (those little caps enemies drop) to maintain or rise oxygen levels.

     

    In other survival missions, and after the first 15m in this mission, you finally see enough enemies to kill, therefore, they drop allot of those little caps, and you can finally maintain or raise oxygen levels.

    In fact, after the first 15m, you start to noticed 1, 2 or 3 extra main life support caps that lotus as dropped, making the game sustainable for as long as you can fight.

     

    But with this bug in Ara, even though you get few enemies and easy to kill, its very hard to reach those 15m.

    The best strategies I saw, is to turn on life support caps before the appropriated time, when oxygen levels are still at 70% or higher, you have to immediately use them, so it gives enough time for lotus to deliver the next one.

     

     

  2. I have noticed this bug quite a wile ago, seems like carrier sometimes just keep catching all items in the map, even though your ammo or energy bar is full.

     

    It's more noticeable with energy orbs, after using an ability it keeps sucking all orbs, and doesn't stop.
    Most times I use another ability just to force it to stop, since after it the carrier realizes energy is full.

    Meanwhile, all orbs have disappeared, and obviously this energy doesn't accumulate more then max energy, nor all the excess orbs reaper, feels bad when you really need energy and then all is gone cause of this bug.

  3. OMG, I've been all day saying bad about nekros, how he is useless and how I hate him, why? cause of guys like u.

    So u use nekros to sith back and do nothing? thats why shadow of death is a bad ability, it causes mass confusion, blocks other players to move or shoot, wile the nekros is doing... nothing.

    Really hate this ability and users who dont know were or when to use it, really hope it gets changed, cause more and more I prefer to see an nekros player dead then to see him "helping"

  4. Nekros is a frame I hate to have in my squad, spamming and blocking and mass confusion all from shadow of the dead.

     

    As for when I used it, yah I loved it, still some of his abilities were not worth as I usually find in every frame, desecrate never saw results; terrify didn't help; shadow of dead I used it as less as possible, cause I hate when ppl use it, so the same goes if I always use it.

    Soul punch the ability I used the most, and felt it was the best, let ppl get used to it, and soon players will see it more worth to use soul punch then spaming shadow of death

  5. Lol, they probably didnt forseen those 2 abilities conflicting xD

    Send a support ticket, as an bug report, cause that needs a change.

     

    Although at the moment that conflict is better then the problem I have, when I use absorb, the sentinel isnt protected, so every-time it dies.

    although I dont tottaly support ur ideia, I think its a sugestion... no, it should only protect nyx and the sentinel, this is not an ability like the one trinity haves, that makes everybody and every sentinel untouchable for a wile.

    Although if it is changed to protect anybody who jump in the bubble I wouldn't mind "come buddies, ur safe here" :)

  7. Shadow of the dead is BAD! So bad because ppl dont know how to use it, after allot of missions with a nekro teammate, I only saw 2 users, use it correctly.

     

    1 - if in defence dont use it around the pod, but in passages and doors were enemies come from

     

    2 - overcrowded by enemies? does nekros decide to create even more chaos, by spawning more npc's? yes he does! and look at the result, all team mates are dead, cause nobody could control the mass confusion.

     

    3 - ur allone, overcrowded, and ur nekros, it feels like a good ideia to use shadow of the dead to save my &#!, but the animation is so long im dead by the end of it.

  8. Shadow of the Dead!

    One of the worst abilities currently in game!

     

    This ability of nekros, as already been talked as been a copy of Nyx ability, and therefore not being very original.

    But for me its an ability, that isn't helping the team reach a goal, but actually when this ability is cast, it seems that nekros is doing his best to see all team players dead and too lose the mission.

     

    Nekros is a frame for advance users, or it should be, cause nowadays ppl just like to play with him or have a nekros in team, witch I think its always a bad strategy, cause ppl seriously need to learn how to use it.

    I've seen teams after teams fall cause of nekros users always spam shadow of the dead... so... we are in tight spot at defence or protecting a hostage, or we might even get overcrowded by a faction, what does the nekro player do? He spawns more npc's, like the battlefield isn't already a mess, he decides its a good idea to create even more chaos.

     

    I'm not an expert of nekros, and I've seen ppl trying to teach and make tutorials of how to use nekros, and for all players that are new (noobs) or even for players who never used nekros, they need to take a serious 101 class for nekros use.

    This is just a little tip, if u are in defence, don't spam the shadow of the dead right next to the pod, were all the team mates are, and were a clear view of the pod and the action is needed. Go spawn the shadow warriors next to enemy spawn points, or in doors were they come from, or in strategic passages were they have to pass to reach the pod.

    It may be a good idea, if the developers, change the spot were shadow warriors are risen, instead of around the nekros, make them spawn were he is pointing at, just like loky can create is hologram far from him, or even vauban trows aways is little gadget that spawns the bastille.

     

    For personal use, if nekros is in a dangerous spot and overcrowded, but yet he doesn't have team mates to help him, this ability feels like a good crowd control tool, but the time it takes for u too spawn them (the ability animation), is the time u take to die.

    So yet again, this just confirms the many problems this ability causes.

     

    Feel free to call me a nekros hater, as long as u leave serious suggestions and critics.

  9. Hey guys, dont know about arrow ammo mut. Shotgun ammo mut got in saturn.

    The wiki as info about riffle ammo mut, and at least in lilith europa I can confirm it dropped for me.

     

    Now, Pistol ammo mutation, theres no info at all out there, if anyone finds it or knows were, please share the info.

I feel positive about some aspects of this idea, but then right after I see the major problem in it, "stealth" its the big elephant in the room with this game, everybody talks about it, and even devs say they want to progress on it. But Im simple skeptical about it, because if u look ate the type of maps they are building, and the way the enemies go around the map, ull see none of this was made to ever be played with stealth. Cause theres simple no place were u can hide, or move within the shadows.

    As an example, look ate the splinter cell maps, they are bigger, and have more spaces were u can hide, or go around to stealth kill, in WF ur stuck in little corridors... just saying that "stealth" is a big lie in this game.

     

    About blocking, I also agree with get rid of it, or don't, I don't care, cause I don't ever use it, I pushed the button twice just to see the animation, and that all I ever used it. So yah, needs to be changed as something usable.

Hello, since last night, when they deployed the latest update, I finally saw some changes in multithreading, now I can turn on more graphic settings and the game seems to keep up and respond on time. Still might be far from using all of enhanced graphics, but still even my graphic drivers might be old to even support them all.

    Good to see progress.

    I feel this option is ambiguous for me, I have 4 dual-core processors:
    With the Multi-Threading ON, I tried to use all graphics options, the game got really slow... and got back to my usual low settings.
    With the Multi-Threading OFF, I turn on all graphics options, and the game even though slow felt like it was handling better then when I left multi on.

    In the end I play with my graphic settings low, but still, I feel better performance with the Multi on.

    Other graphical issue:

    When I started playing the game, it came with some very strange default presets, it was on a so low video resolution that graphically the game didn't look so much impressive, and it was a little slow.
    After I increased video resolution to an abysmal size, the game got allot more crispy, obviously, and it also performed so much better, very fluid and fast.
    To shorten this: higher video resolution = better graphics and faster performance.
    (first game I ever saw doing this)

  13. Hey all.
    Have u seen today's livestream... yah... they still want to mess around with stamina.
    They may have fixed it, but it seems, they want to return to that model, even though with different ways, they say we are used to it, and the player must recognize that such ability comes with a cost.
    And seems to me the first U10 without the fix, was more then enough to see that this game without our big stamina, is a big mistake, boring, and no longer ninja.
    Who want to play a game were every 3 seconds of sprint your character ends without stamina? Is that ninja? no.
    So yah, me and other players never really seen the importance of stamina, but it is so fundamental in the core concept and fun of the game.

    This blog may have started before the fix, but still, we need to keep an laud voice about this, cause changes are coming, and this seems to fundamental to be lost.

  14. recent change? Maybe u mean the change when U10 was launched, after that, there was a fix on stamina.
    Because as soon as they launch U10, stamina would be spent very fast, like 2 or 3 seconds, and it would take longer time to recharge.
