  1. hi. I don't know if this was posted before but I think I would be really neat if we could use glyphs in PvP.

    those things works best in arena type maps not in linear ones (like the majority of pve ones are) and I do believe the core concept of the thing comes form older PvP games.

  2. have you even tried getting the new stuff? it seems to me the new keys drop quite often either from syndicates or mission rewards after which you can upgrade them for a better chance at the part you want. i was able to get almost all the new prime parts already, one or two runs for each part after i got the key for it. compared to the old system i find it a bit less time consuming and certainly more fun/diverse.

    hopefully not. some of us collectors spent a great deal of plat acquiring those cores. i would consider it fair if they were converted to legendary maybe.

    the lower one is the old model for dark sword/dagger. the new ones look like the split sword. they were updated a while ago before the split version was introduced.

    the stream showed the dark dagger model without a doubt. 

    that being said i still wish for a split sword rakta release instead of a dagger for which we already have a mod from veil. it would be the hek mistake allover again.

    the amount of clicks and screens you have to navigate is too much now for things that change stats. focus, arcanes, modding should be all in 1 menu.

    now you customise your mods, go into appearance to set arcanes, out of arenal and into another menu for focus .. its all too convoluted and unnecessarily complicated

    that would only happen if you face 1 enemy. but in real gameplay at high level you are surrounded and being shot at from multiple sources so enemy scaling is really unaffected since you will be killed regardless. it would maybe allow you to use your skills and survive in a different way. as it is now you either cc lock or die with full shield/health/iron skin on from a random non telegraphed shot while parkouring.

    what's so bad about being 2shot anyway?

    this! needs to happen. it will alleviate much of the senseless 1shotting that goes on at higher levels. imho this is one of the biggest flaws this game has at this point

    it's not. it's a dual dagger with a new dagger stance that doesn't fit it.

    still i'm with OP on this one if they are sold in a bundle they should logically fit. finding out they don't after purchasing doesn't seem right at all to me.

    the animation adds ~2s so you can finish the puzzle with 1s left to spare and still fail. they need to fix it so that the time added by the animation doesn't count because it shouldn't.

    this happened to me a few times. and it's definitely not lag.

    and here is the confusion. you are comparing something that cost plat (a digital resource proprietary to DE, not real money), with something that cost real world currency.

    even if real world currency can be transformed via DE into their digital one exclusive to their platform, the reverse is not possible and i may add plat can be obtained without real money. it really is not the same thing

    also many others like myself obtained those helmets for free from alerts.

  12. we have been asking for this ever since they introduced arcanes. hopefully they will listen this time but it seems to me that the devs have 0 interest in reworking the old arcane helms at this point. they are neatly swept under the rug and provide a nice plat sink for new players.

    with this in mind i propose an alternate simpler solution i already made a topic about a few days ago.

    i think that building on the current mechanics will be easy to implement and we actually have a chance at seeing it happen within our lifetime.

    add a permanent distiller for plat. fits well with the current pay or grind model and takes very little dev time. plat flows, and players have more of a reason to buy cosmetics. win-win.

    that exactly what i meant with my p.s. in the OP. and i think at this point the reworking the way old arcane helms work is out of the question. therefore i think building on the current distiller mechanic will take the least amount of dev time and really solve this outstanding issue once and for all.

    i am willing to pay more for fashion abilities so i'm not asking for a freebie here. imho monetizing this aspect of the game can work really well but if that is the reason for the limitation i'm sry to say it's not working well. hurrah i buy/have all the syandanas and arcanes but i can't really use them and like the look of them at the same time. doesn't make any sense to me... why? what's the reason behind this distiller cost and can it be paid in a different way?

    again ... this is not about them being accessible or not. that aspect is not being discussed here as i don't really have an opinion on the matter. i already have multiple copies of all the arcane enhancements i want at this point.

    this is about being able to match my cosmetics regardless of arcane enhancements. having a permanent distiller for plat (if sales is the reason for this limitation in the 1st place) will make everyone happy with minimal effort i think.

    i have enough arcanes too understand your quarrel... The difference is I understand why DE doesn't want you too switch them at a simple push of a button.

    i also understand that if I want too use the same arcane in multiple scenarios that all I have too do is go and get another set which in reality is not all that hard.

    if my luck is low on rolling the arcane that I need from said Raid then I always have the option too buy them from other players. 

    And let's be honest here if you have it like you say you do then making plat should be just as easy for you as I find it.

    i don't think you read my 1st post. let me explain. i already have multiple arcane sets (just counted the maxed installed ones to 22 with multiple other less desirable ones uninstalled) . i already did what you are suggesting and i'm telling you it doesn't work at all well. this is not about acquiring arcanes, cosmetics or plat. this is about fashionframe really.

    can anyone give me a good reason for this limitation? because tbh i don't understand it. like i said i spend thousands of plat on the subject and instead of being rewarded i feel punished for it.

    i agree with not be able too switch them at will! Put your best arcanes on your favorite sydanas and choose wisely on the arcanes you put on your character helmets. That's pretty basic

    the 2 arcanes/slot limitation is there to keep power creep in check

    power will generally take priority over fashion which is why i have a problem with the current system really. i'm forced to use syandanas that don't fit aesthetically in my view. all the limitation achieves in doing really is taking away from my investment and enjoyment of the game.

    you obviously don't have enough arcane sets on your cosmetics to understand

     

    the thing with having multiple cosmetic choices is you can mix and match them according to your wishes and themes. therefore choosing "a favorite syandana" doesn't apply. and if the point is to choose a favorite syandana why buy the other ones?

    that's all well and good if you have few arcanes and cosmetics. but if you have almost all of them like me it's a real pain and practically impossible to switch to heart's content even with 4 syndicates maxed.

    i agree that the previous iteration of arcane mechanics was worse but that doesn't make the current one good enough. i wish that were the case. if i didn't have a problem i wouldn't speak about it.

    why is the limitation there in the 1st place anyway? cuz if it's to encourage me to buy syandanas and then not let me use them that's a pretty crappy plan.
