yeah but how can you tell? it's not like it was blue before and then became white after it was completed

Because I looked in the lines between the junction and the pathway to the next planet.

    they aren't, notice i have selected a mission :)

Realized.....it.....just...now....Anyway, if it's just that, I disagree, It's perfectly visible to me.

I use the lines around the junction to tell me about the nodes.

This may be so but having a dedicated key will yield more control. It may be different from Controller compare to mouse and keyboard, but at time (on console) I want to be able to sprint and turn without barrel rolling. An example is when doing JV. I normally can sprint through all 3 nerve sections, but if I ever happen to bump into a wall then all hell break loose. A slight correction to the left or right and I'll barrel roll and clip into another wall. It's frustrating to fail because of wonky mechanics and not because my lack of skills. Is it true that SotR bring about separating AW controls from Normal controls? The restricted key binding is hellacious for me during AW.

AT the current moment bindings are bugged...You cannot make two seperate bindings for archwing and ground combat.

I'm not sure about having dedicated keys for this, due to the lack of buttons on the xbox one controller...I know that you are on PS4.

If only I could bind the X1 and X2 buttons.(Keypad addition.)

Odonata, and Odonata prime as A-Ok.

    Slightly slower, but do-able.

Being on console I have not gotten a chance to try AW rework, but I did read several feedback threads and watch a few video of it in motion. From what I can tell, it will help to either have a few extra button/key binding for specific purposes. For example, akin to flight controls there should be a key for

    • Barrel rolls
    • Inverted roll? (maneuver during dogfight in which a jet quickly rises, stalled, flip backwards, and is now behind the pursuer)
    • A "correct" orientation key. Press it to immediately "straighten out" your orientation as oppose to it being automatic.

It may even help to make all weapons projectiles during AW but have the zoom button be lock-on instead. You can cycle target by pressing lock-on button. Introduce a mod that increase bullet travel speed (like terminal velocity). Of course, this option will be different for sniper-type gun such as Velocitus.

Barrel rolls can be done while using afterburners+sprinting to the left and right.

Inverted rolls, or reverse flips can be done going backwards and using afterburners.

Correct orientation key..is well, I'm not 100% where that is, but I think it's not ingame.

I'm not (sometimes...only in big maps), but normal 'walking' is too slow, and sprinting is relatively fast. like I said, it's a new system, I still need to get used to it. I'm surprised myself that I got a bit sick too XD

the weird thing is, when I played the rush mission with my itzal, it was a bit 'clean' no major facewalls and my turns were kinda on track, but when I played the elytron, which is slower, I kept bumping into things. and I think they buffed the afterburner a bit too, it's way faster than before

They changed the sprint speed I think, I'm using hyperion thrusters on my itzal, I might need to test odonta and odonta prime for their speed.

  6. I've told this time and time again, don't use afterburners in corpus hallways. They drasically increase the amount of drifting in space.

Though, I'm not sure about if you are using them.

I'm not sure if you are, but I don't bump into everything as you say in archwing rush.

It took me 2 missions to get used to the new movement, but once I did it's great.

Also, I'm not sure why everyone is getting sick with this new movement, I'm not even remotely close to getting sick.

  7. 1) Nope, void tear is good as is. No tileset, or complete replacement of enemies. (In other words, the current system does not counter act the lore.) It's quite dumb.

    2) Endless and Objective should not be forced by relics themselves.

    3) Not a void obsession post. The void shouldn't be a selective nuisance, nor should it have a always tear.

    4) Making one relic system obsolete for every other mission. Multiple Drops for Multiple relics.

    5) Isn't that what we have? Even though you are saying that it should be changed as a visual UI, for a rubberband that's stretched inward, it's practially the same thing as before, except more selective? It might not be.

    6) I think it is...but there should be a cap.

  8. If your camera is bugged, that's the issue.

I'm not vomiting on archwing at all.

    2) What do you mean, tips over? Are you taking damage from explosives? Crashing into walls?

    3) Flying fast because turning is upside down is slow??? It's not, space archwing has the same amount of drift as before. It's not as slow as everyone says.

It's tricky, Archwing is drifty in space. I've hit the top many more times when turning upward. in a \_/ pathway.

Archwing has four speeds, Walking, Sprinting, Afterburner walking(Bugged version), Afterburner sprinting.

Afterburner sprint has a drastic decrease in turning up and down, to me that is.

  9. I honestly didn't like the style beforehand. It was long, boring and instead of seeing the rewards we got at the end, I got more and more disappointed.

Solar rails were broken, they weren't fun and they caused more problems than fun.

Capture was the same too, it was boring and repetitive. Seeing how many credits you could get in a hour was a joke, honestly compared to doing sortie or lors, that wasn't very intriguing, (42 million credits)

And as I've read, you don't play sortie? They give cores and credits.

I don't know about you, but you seem to enjoy long (Endless) missions that (may) give mediocre rewards, like seeing credits increase, and solar rails.

Complete opposite of me. I hated all three. So of course, I disagree.

I don't know if DE will change fissures to increase the rarity of relic rewards on survival the longer you go.

  10. Great post, I Agree with most of your points, however there is something I also dislike about this update, you cannot choose a regular mission when playing onto a special alert node.

Though, I have to consider, is this really a bad change? It doesn't affect me or anything at all. After all, void relics are optional, and other things are too. They don't consume as much time, nor do they have a huge impact.

It's not a great change, but it's not a bad one either. It's mediocre at best, let see how this plays out.

(Note, Steve on twitter agreed that the market had problems.)

  11. Let me just be honest here.

The new void system...is just as grindy (not as time consuming) as before, but far more forgiving and far more intriguing.

You grind for relics (Aren't hard and very quick)

You farm for void traces (Not even hard at all, somewhat quick)-(getting 11 per mission. So don't focus on 100 bonus refinement.)

Then you use the top tier bonus for refinement (and get lucky) and get the reward.

Don't be shy to use lower tiers of refinement.

The only thing I could say to farm for...Is ducats, it's going to be lowered, but more is better right?

Yeah, but the problem is, afterburners now give you far less control than they did with the old system, so you just end up crashing all the time. They're only really viable for an open space. Not closed spaces or in missions where you have to make your way through specific points like the hoops in the MR 20 mastery test.

Well...true. I use them in short bursts, it gets time to get used to (It helps me beat all the others in the archwing rush(Race) mission.)

  13. What? your camera is wayyy to close.

I'd like to mention that Itzal's drones don't block the view, but makes the camera pazz out.

Not for me, it's perfectly solid on mine, or I haven't noticed it.

It's slight, but not very intrusive, I guess it's the camera's placement that's causing the issue.
