  1. It looks really awkward, when you disarm a heavy and all they're carrying is a stun stick. Replace that stun stick with the Jat Kittag so there'll actually be a downside to disarming them/a cool challenge to fight a heavy with the Kittag.

Why would you EVER want a DOWNSIDE to using your ultimate on an enemy?

  2. I've always wondered what warframe would be like if its' enemies weren't classified based on the weapon they used but other things such as armor, hp, etc.

So for example, lets say there's a basic grineer rifleman class which could use one of three grineer rifle-type weapons. Everytime one of these guys spawns, they'd have a chance at getting any one of the weapons in the rifles group, along with armor and hp variation. Maybe they would have medium armor and medium hp since they're just the average riflemen, or something like that.

Would be pretty cool imo but that'd be too much work. There's better things to use time on.

  3. Personally, and I'm not trying to start a nerd war here, but:

-I think 2/4 spam is just the result of having an ability be mindless instead of strategic.

It's not that I really care if you do it or not. I get agitated when people that spam 2/4 mindlessly think they're better than players that actually utilize their skills when/where they're needed. Nukers are nukers, I get it. But it shouldn't be so bland that the situation boils down to "Alright, the best frames are X Y and Z because their ultimates do 40000 damage, while the worst frames are A B and C because their ultimates aren't damage based/don't provide a gamechanging alternative (a la trinity)"

Now, this is where most people start getting butthurt:

It's not that I think some weapons are better than others. It's just that some weapons are at their best more of the time than other weapons are.

Basically what I'm saying is, to demonstrate: the BoltorP has better damage than the BratonP, and that's only because the BoltP has travel time. Thing is- travel time is irrelevant in most cases, because even if the tile you're currently in is even big enough that travel time would matter, you can simply hold W. Easy fix for something that has such a high superiority over the BratP.

Then there's shotguns. They've been getting a bit of love, but meh. You need to get in someone's face to be considered "at your best" with a shotgun. You can be far away with the BoltP, deal with a little bit of leading enemies into your bullets, and you'll still be considered "at your best" (assuming you can aim), not to mention the damage per shot/second difference, which is way too damn high.

  4. I think the fact that they can only be obtained from alerts is a better argument than the age of a weapon

Well, to be perfectly fair, the older frames are mostly farmed from bosses but they're not as extravagant or up to date as the newer frames are (mesa, limbo, mirage)

  5. Mesa supposedly already has a passive..gives her slight benefits to all guns, including extra ammo and stuff like that.

    EDIT:

    Firearms Proficiency (Mesa Passive)

+1.0m Punch Through bonus on sniper rifles.+2 extra pellets for shotguns.+5% additive damage for rifles.+15% projectile speed on launchers.+10% fire rate on dual pistols.+20% reload speed for single sidearms.+20% extra ammo for bows.+20% strafe speed while aiming (zoom-in).+15% health bonus without melee equipped

I'm not sure if these still apply though. Hopefully someone comes in with some testing to see if it truly works. Easiest way would be to test with the extra bow ammo.

    EDIT#2:

Little fun fact- Mirage has a higher agility than all the frames (she rolls, climbs, etc faster) and Zephyr has increased aviation (higher jumping, better air control). So passives DO exist in warframe, believe it or not- it's just that this one isn't so prevalent. Infact, it could be removed for all I know.

  6. Kinda weird place to put this topic..Fan concepts? xD

But yeah, her ability is toggleable and basically makes the enemy disposable immediately after the MC wears off, assuming you've dealt enough damage to whatever you're controlling. What I would REALLY like is that the MC'd enemy would actually fight instead of standing there contemplating the meaning of life.

  7. Personally,

I would combine Banish and Rift Walk. Tap to banish, Hold to change dimensions.

Replace his 2 with some type of damage or CC ability.

His 3 should be passive imho, or grant a greater damage buff. It's just not worth using right now, as most people have noticed.

His 4th should give him some type of "live more than 3 seconds gimmick" while in the rift, because unless you happen to sacrifice some essential part of your mod collection for a shield/HP boost, you're still gonna get turned into swiss cheese in the rift regardless.

  8. Where in the menus, exactly? I just clicked through all the sections of the incubator and didn't see any mention of permanent death. Screenshot?

But I can't fathom why anyone would defend this feature. It adds absolutely nothing to the game. Am I expected to just pay for everything again?

What do you mean by 'wasting plat I wasn't scared to lose'? Should I expect my plat purchases to vanish suddenly without prior warning?

Did I ever say the exact words "Permanent Death" were in the menus?

If you live a life where every single fact needs to be babyfed and you require handholding, you shouldn't be playing games.

You don't need a screenshot to show something very logical and obvious.

Or maybe you do. And for that, I'm truly sorry.

You wasted plat, and it's really your fault. I'm personally not defending the feature, but I'm not attacking it either- it's a simple concept. I don't care about it, I've stuck with my Carrier for a while now. Once you acquire a kubrow, this fact should be buried in your memory somewhere- "If I don't take care of a virtual animal, this virtual animal will virtually die- along with all expenses used on it."

    /end

  9. "I paid plat for the imprints. I paid plat for the pattern. I paid plat for the egg. I paid plat for the rush. I paid plat to potato it."

First mistake- Wasting plat that you were scared to lose.

Second mistake- Not taking three god damn seconds to check out your Kubrow's features. It's LITERALLY in the menu in large font. Check your incubator's menus.

    Third mistake- Expecting a refund.

However, I do think a revive button (plat or X credits) would be nice to have.

  10. I have a thread with a rocket sentinel that I called "Harrier." It would be like a mini fighter jet plane with a harrier engine type propulsion system. It would/could use a mini gun for ground targets and have air to air missile for flying targets.

    Marry me. Right now.

  11. Whenever I used to run a hek I'd keep the damage maxxed out on it and rely on either my melee or secondary if things really started getting heated and I needed to start proccing everything.

But, some of my friends do status builds. It's personal preference as far as I'm concerned.

  12. Oh man, that's such a hard question.

Vauban sending random enemies flying to the point where I can land in an arrow to make them fly even more..

Or, Limbo rifting enemies (and occasionally, teammates)..

Or, using chaos as nyx and dancing in the middle of a crowd?

    ..Damn. Really hard question.

I'd have to say vauban though, only because the last time I used him, it was for skeet shooting. Pretty much right after the devs did it.
