  1. Was listening to the podcast:

And something that I was thinking about for a while (and was mentioned by you guys towards the end) was the ability to make your sigil a lot smaller and be able to place it on your syndana or helmet... etc.

Also quite excited for syndicate melee weapons!

What would be even better than that would be a filter kind of like we have when browsing mods for instance (with the difference that it would show any message containing at least one of the terms typed in the filter).

included in original post, thanks for the comment!

  3. Minimap warframe heads are too multicolored and confusing.

    1.  We don't need to differentiate between primes and normal warframes.

    2.  Too much detail in too small an icon.

    Suggestion

Make an icon for each separate warframe (if you are so adamant about keeping the differentiation on the minimap)

Some of them already have perfect icons for some of their abilities.

You remain incorrect and won't be able to prove otherwise, unfortunately, so I don't know what you're trying. The fact of the matter is, gameplay can very much have quality of life improvements. Changes that improve gameplay to handle better, much like any quality of life change. Leaving Survival whenever is quality because Defense has it, some people need to go early and others want to stay. Friendship doors block people out of nowhere and needlessly act as a speedbump for gameplay, ruining quality of it. There's often roll buttons in flight games, what Archwing works like now, and without, it's a bit awkward to fly through areas diagonally, the ability to adjust that, of course, being quality.

I'm sorry you don't understand this, but it is a basic concept, and it's an inarguable fact, so I'm sorry for your loss.

I predicted you would answer like this.

You are practicing what is known as a literal understanding of an idiom or a figurative concept.

You are saying I am wrong because you understand the literal words of QoL.

To use a hyperbole, I will give you the phrase "Lemon Party".

    The literal understanding is:

    lemonparty.jpg

But I suggest that you don't go look up the idiom of what this actually is.

QoL has an idiomatic meaning in gaming.

QoL increases convenience without affecting gameplay.

You can say I'm wrong over and over again, but you're only saying that you don't understand the difference between literal and figurative concepts.

What is the definition of A REAL GOOD ASH?!

One that builds for Duration instead of just range efficiency and strength

What's the definition of a Warframe Duche?

Someone that tells others how to build their frames.

You're incorrect, but you're free to copy whatever you want.

    I don't copy, I quote.

QoL are not gameplay changes, that is why they have a category of their own.

QoL is getting indoor plumming, or a washroom inside your house.

It just makes it easier and more convenient to do what you were doing before.

Here are some examples that are NOT QoL suggestions.  They may still be good suggestions but they are NOT QoL.

How 'bout this, give us back the old blue circles and differentiate them with the players' number like player-set waypoints.

If you need a way to tell what Frames there are without opening the menu, put the Frame (name / head / whatever)
by the Player List on the HUD (BTW, the "Show Player List" option should be on by default, what the Hek).

Tiny pictures moving about the minimap just don't work too well,
and bigger ones easily obscure things that are a lot more vital to know.

This would be best, but the heads are just ugly, and contrary to what people are saying, not very recognizable.

Icons are a lot more recognizable because they have less detail.  You can get an idea of the picture a lot quicker than the heads.

For heads you have to look carefully and try and figure out the perspective.

Icons are instant, even if you don't know what frame it represents, you can see the 3 lightning bolts easier than a strange volt head.

And they can all be the same color. Colors confuse things a lot more...

  8. Detailed post, but many of these suggestions are not QoL

QoL does not change gameplay, it only makes it more convenient to do what is already possible.

I will add your relevant suggestions to my QoL post too

Yeah... No. I would be far more confused if the symbols were replaced with ability icons.

    I'm sorry but

    volt_shock.png

is far less confusing on a minimap than a volt head

I aggree there sicne i often mistaken a mesa or rhino icon for a mission or focus icon also, and i find them, more distracting overall to be honest.

This way they could stay the old warframe blue color too, less confusing.

We honestly don't need to differentiate primes from standard frames. (in the minimap)

  11. It was a nice idea to put warframe portraits in the minimap, but I would have rather had ability icons.

To be honest the faces look a bit tacky.

    WarframePowers_670.jpg

    Maybe their most iconic ability.

Rhino's Iron Skin or roar icon is nice

    Trin's blessing

Volt's Shock and Speed icons are nice

Mag's magnetize looks like magnetic lines

    Ashe's shuriken is nice

    Ember's fire blast

    Loki's invis or radial disarm

    Zephyr's vortex icon,

    Hydroid's puddle or ult,

    etc...

Glaring issue would be translating "point and click" to controllers on PC/consoles for your whack-a-mole idea.

Agreed, the cursor (Reticle) would have to have a larger size on consoles to make up for the difficulty of point and click.

But essentially, when shooting guns, you are doing the same thing.

  13. DE Scott tried to do what many people were suggesting and he said it ended up like "World on Fire" with Ash shadows.

Bladestorm used to be a single Ash before the previous rework.

The idea with providing shadows was to make it a stronger ability.

I propose that we don't rework Ash.

Rather we just have the game figure out an optimal camera angle, and show the ability in its full glory.

Alternatively, you people that want to make this ability active and not a "Push 4 to win"....

Make it a whack'a'mole minigame.  Where this optimal camera angle lets you click on enemies and spawn a shadow on each one clicked within the time period.  I'd rather have the first suggestion but this is the only valid alternative I can think of that would preserve the ability's potential and maybe even give it the chance to spawn more shadows if the player is fast enough with the point and click.

That's kind of the point though. If they collapsed the void and thus destroyed it, the fissures actually don't make sense at all. If they simply pulled part of the void out of the void, then the fissures actually could exist like that. Problem is that it's not like the given loot and loot options simply up and vanished ether. If they're going by this standpoint, they should have just simply killed the tile set under the grounds that it's simply not accessible anymore and it's where we don't see that the corrupted are coming through from the fissures. You can still source loot drops to the fissure ones as well.

Lore wise, Fissures are broken fragments of space that must be repaired.

Think of it like a puzzle that was put together wrong.

You have to use a relic to break the puzzle first, before it can be properly reassembled.

Once the fissure is repaired, the relic reveals an artifact that was contained within it as a by-product of the fissure repair.

You are also left with void traces that can be used to modify other relics.

  15. The idea is:

The relic that You bring will reveal an item hidden within it.

You don't know what item it is until it's probability function collapses to reveal what it was all along.

We have the ability to influence what the item is by entangling it with other relics (quantum entanglement) or using void fragments to adjust the probability function.

But in the end, the item will be revealed to be what it always was but was unknown until we looked at it.  (like Schrodinger's Kavat)

    #SchrodingersKavat

  16. I have done the second dream a number of times with newer members.

Every single time, I see the skybox in the moon properly as having the void at the start of the mission and the earth at the end of the mission.

But whoever is hosting the quest, sees the skybox as the earth at the start and end of the mission.

This is a very minor bug, but, it hurts the immersion and lore of the mission.

Sorry that I never mentioned it earlier but I expected it to be fixed without having to mention it.

    Wow !

You put some thought into this .....
Add suggestions to this list ppl
With the Sortie  25 Cores Curse ..... I would suggest they are kept but other alternative rewards available as well. Some rarer materials  ... Cryonic, Telluruim etc
Too many of anything would not be helpful ....

This reeks of an account that was created solely to bump the thread.

Regardless I'll add your relevant suggestions to my thread:

    Properly Quoted of course.
