  1. Definitely on our 'must fix'. 

     

    Some helpful info:

    Any maps worse offenders than others? Consistent in certain scenarios or it just 'happens'!!!!? 

     

    On the PS4, it still happens once a while (but much better compared to when U15 first hit PS4).  There is only the outerspace interception map, but the capture points and asteroid/debris field spawn location sometimes make them more susceptible.

     

    Wouldn't a simple fix be just to delete the code that does the forced extraction?  Just have the warming ordis message is good enough.  If a tenno insist on going further out of bounds, just make him hit a virtual wall (like in trench run) or just respawn him at the map boundary.

  2. On another note, I've been trying for the longest time to get the Automatic Trigger arch-gun mod.  I've run well over 50 corpus exterminates and sabotage missions on venus, mars, jupiter and neptune, killed tons of carrier (purple) drones, but have yet to see the mod drop.  No one seems to be selling it on trade.  Is this drop bugged?

     

    If anyone has got it on the PS4, can you post to confirm?  I don't want to waste any more time grinding if it is indeed a drop bug.

  3. PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! So many lost mods and so much anger...     :'( also couldn't the boundaries be extended or the overly large asteroids just be removed since they are essentially not needed? Or moved behind the spawn point of the enemies if just for the sake of them being asthetic?.... so frustrating

     

    Yes, this still happens but not very frequent now.  Back when I posted when U15 first came out, it was a 100% occurrence.  Now, some enemies still get pressed up against an asteroid now and then.

     

    If you can, try not to go round the asteroid to the furthest end just to kill it.  Stay on the other side and use Odonata's repel or Elytron's warhead blast to kill that stuck far away enemy.

     

    But yeah, DE should still fix this.  The logic could be simple.  Eg. if an enemy ship has not moved in 15 secs, respawn it next to an interception node.  Probably only takes one line of code?! :)  DE, how about hiring me.  I can work for peanuts!!

  4. IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON SYNDICATES STANDING:

     

    Coming today in a Hotfix:

     

    Although we couldn't include all the recent Syndicates changes from PC, we were able to include the boost to standing gains. You should now see a significant increase to standing gains after each mission. The rest of the Syndicates changes will be coming in the next PS4 update. 

    I've updated the OP with this information. Also, this hotfix included a minor performance tweak. 

     

    Much appreciated.  Took me a while just to get to 5000 for the next rank in Steel Meridian.  After that, the Ancient Healers death squad came after me.  I was playing Oberon then and thankfully, his Hallowed Ground negated the health drain!  Eat lead, ancients! :)

     

    Any rough ballpark dates on when we can possibly see the next PS4 update?

  5. Well that's a wrap, I'm nearly done I have one Archwing left to level then I'm stuck waiting for another update. I was hoping to reach M18 but I'm gonna fall short. As for Syn ...

     

    Is it possible to reach MR18 on the PS4 with Update 15?

     

    Personally, I don't have the Gorgon Wraith and Twin Vipers Wraith since I missed those, but have all others possible on the PS4.  I still need to level up my Elytron and Limbo, but even then, I may be just short.  From the wiki, 810000 points are needed for MR18.

     

    Perhaps with the Rathbone and Velocitus in 15.2, MR18 may be feasible.

  6. Thanks for the heads up, ill be sure to send you the pictures I have later. I'll also include pics of them getting stuck outside the map boundaries (making it impossible to complete them)

     

    I've played Archwing Erpo interception countless times now and finally got all the parts for Corvas and Onorix.  Here're my observations:

     

      * Stuck enemies happen 100% of the time in interception. At the end of the round, there is at least 1 (usually 2 or more) enemies stuck in near and far away asteroids or ships.  Some just press against the side, and some have half their bodies in the rock, some in the tiniest crevice you can find.  Just play one interception round and you'll see.  Repeatability for me is 100% when playing solo.

      * The forced extraction happened to me about 3 times because of the above.  Grrr.....

      * I've stopped playing interception with randoms, because of host migration issues.  The few times I played and someone left, the mission just failed or hangs.

      * 4 interception rounds for one reward part?  Talk about pain....  Please, can we make it 3 rounds instead?!

      * Picking up obs and mods are a pain too.  Can we make the detection pickup radius bigger?

      * Reviving someone is an exercise in frustration sometimes, since it is so easy to blow past them and hard to stop exactly where they are to press the revive button.

      * Flying into an object causes us to bounce back. Can we make that bounce shorter or eliminate it?  Quite annoying.  On land missions, we don't bounce when we sprint into a wall!

      * Rare archwing mods don't have the yellow glowing marker?

      * I've leveled up my Odonata to Lv.30, yet in my Profile, Warframe, it is still greyed out.

     

    Some other general bugs for me:

      * My 'challenges' list seems to be reset everytime I start a new gaming session.  Eg. I build one item in Foundry and the 'Scientist' challenges pops up to say I have 1/20 items built for the challenge.  Sigh, I have built thousands of stuff built already.  Same for the Stealth kills, Hats off corpus challenges.  Keeps resetting each time I play.  Grr....

      * As someone already pointed out, kindly remove the items from Profile, stats, that PS4 users will never be able to get (or will we?!!!).

     

     

    I know there was a rush to get U15 out to us console owners.  I'm somewhat disappointed that it was not tested well enough, esp. for Interception missions.  Hopefully you can get the fix out asap.  Thanks. 

  7. Yes, I would like this too, especially as a PS4 Warframer, since there are some weapons that pre-date the PS4 launch which have been retired.

     

    Rebecca recently posted that something special is coming over the holidays, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!  Maybe she'll hint at it in today's Primetime.

  8. I don't think I understand the Ability changes. If I had all my Ability Mods maxed out pre-update, shouldn't they still be at max rank in the new system?

     

    No, your abilities will be max'd only if your Warframe is at Level 30 going into the update.

     

     

    Just saw the 2 new trophies too.  Kinda funny. :)

    - Polarize this: Polarize a Weapon, Sentinel, Kubrow or Warframe

    - Polarize that: Reach Rank 30 with a polarized Weapon, Sentinel or Warframe

     

    Still at work, but hoping to try the new update tonight.

    I'm sure the info will come out by tomorrow together with an official announcement.

    We should be getting those, plus stuff from 14.10, plus I assume stuff until 15.1.2, plus new trophies.  So expect an uber long announcement list!

     

    To be honest, I'm a little afraid.  A change this big is bound to have problems no matter how well it is tested.  I expect the PS4 forums section to be abuzz with activity on Thursday!

  10. So we're not getting the Syndicates? ._.

     

    How can we not?  It is part of Update 15.  Since the build was submitted early last week for cert, my guess is that we'll get everything up to 15.1.2.  You can see what each update includes here: http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Update_15#Update_15.1.2

     

    As far as I'm aware, PS4 will not be getting the latest syndicate changes (ie. post vivergate, standings cap, 15.2 updates).

  11. Correct. If your Warframe is maxed, its abilities will also be maxed.

    Another question.  From your post:

    Since this update has been out for the PC for a while now, shouldn't the 'specifics' be determined by now?  If so, could you elaborate?

     

    I'm primarily interested if I should rank up more ability mods now (using their duplicates) in the hope of getting a rare fusion core for them, versus leaving them unranked and receiving common fusion cores for them.

    The question I have is for the new change where abilities level up together with the Warframe.  So right now, ALL my warframes are at Level 30.  When U15 is live, does that mean that ALL abilities on all my warframes will be max'd as well?  (Even though say, my current highest slash dash mod is unranked).

  13. Is there a PS4 or general thread discussing the upcoming changes in U15?  I noticed Megan announced it for XBOne already for abilities.  I saw the ones for PC, but they are no longer actively being discussed.

    I think I have the ability slots removal selection understood (from Rebecca's apples/bowls analogies).  Still not liking the 8 slots deal but will have to live with it.  Grrr....

  14. Will this update include new trophies?

     

    I'm 99.9999% sure it will have new trophies (usually 2 new trophies per update).  Seeing as how U15 is a big update, the question should be how many new trophies?

     

    As for the time it takes, I have this feeling that the cert will take longer than usual, primarily because the cert team ay Sony will probably be finding new bugs in this huge update, which DE will then have to fix, send for re-cert etc.  Let's hope this does not happen too much.

  15. Thanks for the update news.  Hopefully it includes everything up to 15.1.3.  Are you sure you worked out all the big bugs?!!

     

    Gotta take more snapshots and re-arrange some polarities on my warframe now lest they be stripped off for no reason.  I hope there will be another update info thread on what we should do to prepare our warframes for the 10 to 8 mod slot change too.

  16. Yup , been meaning to call DE Steve out on that one as he publicly admitted they messed up for U14 with bundling too many updates together. Cue U15 and even a more prolonged wait. Empty promises sure help a declining PS4 community. I have been to these post before and I have been the one posting "come on guys, it is just the new chat system, lots of people are on" etc etc.

    There is probably some business decision on why they are doing this (save cost, console development cycle impact, etc), but we will never know.

     

    With a slew of titles coming out this and next week for console (AC:Unity, GTA V, Far Cry 4, etc), I predict lesser console participation until U15 arrives.

  17. I mentioned in another thread that it would've been nice to get 14.10 update out first to give console owners a little something extra to do, but DE seems intent on bundling everything into Update 15, so we just have to wait longer.

     

    Also, I believe it is almost the 1-year anniversary for the PS4 Warframe release.  I don't expect anything from DE, but I'm hoping to be surprised, even if it is something small like a weapon skin.

  18. What about U14.10? DE Steve said that when they bundled Breeding Grounds into U14 it was a mistake. I dont think they would do that again.

    Like the other replies have said, the Primetime yesterday more or less confirmed that U15 will be submitted for cert sometime next week.  Then we'll have to wait at least a week more for Sony/MS to approve it.

     

    Personally, I would've like to see 14.10 first.  Gives us something a little extra to do in the meantime.  Yes, it is a small update which is probably why they decided to bundle it into U15.  Hopefully this won't bite them in the behind again with unforeseen delays.  Seeing as how U15.1 is 'sort of stable' on the PC, I think they are going for this for the consoles too.

     

    Last warning: Make sure you take screenshots of your favorite warframe builds!  I've read that people had their default polarities stripped by the script when downsizing from 10 to 8 slots with the new system!

  19. The latest Call of Duty was just released on PS4 too, so I would expect Warframers on PS4 to decline.  Personally, I have GTA V on pre-order, which will also be released on Nov 18, so I'll expect other people might start playing that too.

     

    Also, I think DE will be making another mistake in bundling 14.10 into U15 (like they did when going from end U13 to U14.  DESteve, are you listening?!).  If they released 14.10 on PS4, it will help existing PS4 players have a little something extra to do in the meantime.
