what if i told you i've never seen a Rick and Morty episode? even if i continue to see memes related to them everyday?

It's ok, I'm not intelligent enough to comprehend those memes either.

Do people really care about the Quit Stat in the profile? Oy vey. It means absolutely nothing.

All the quit stat largely represents for me is how many times I aborted an acolyte mission, namely violence when first farming for maiming strike. But DE decided make the drops identifiable only upon completing the mission so if you didn't get your desired drop you could just quit and rerun, without having to finish the mission.

  3. As of now, amps dish out void damage which is only really effective against senitents. And until we get a bigger sentient update, namely when they become a real faction like the corpus/grineer, a melee based amp is useless as the amps we have now do get the job done just fine.

Still I'd defo like to see it in the future.

THEY WERE DESIGNED TO APPEASE CASUAL/NEWISH PLAYERBASE

Warframe is a business at the end of the day and appealing to newer players is good for the longivity of any game. However I do get that this can be to the behest of veterans as we often feel left out and neglected in favor for making it more accessible. Now raid are going it's even more difficult for vets to call a place home and while DEsteve stated prior to the release of PoE that Eidolons were going to be specifically tailored torwards vets, it now seems quite the opposite is in fact happening.

The game has always had an issue with 'endgame' but I felt they were on the right track with raids, even if some didn't run them religiously.

Transmutation should let you pick one buff from your riven and then you can re roll other stats like I got riven for vectis 128 crit chance but plus 58 zoom so if I can use Transmutation to lock crit chance and then re roll other stats that would help lot as trash rivens mostly I turn them in too endo or credits

This.Transmuting rivens just gives us another whammy of RNG to contend with. Instead of the Transmuting rivens we should be able to 'lock in' that one specific stat form being rerolled. To balance, we should only be able to lock in just one stat per riven, thus giving us a choice. This still preserves the core RNG of rivens all without making it any more laborious to get a desired roll.

I don't even transmute normal mods because I don't like the RNG, so I'll be damned doing it to rivens.

  6. I'm wonder if farming these eidolons will be worth the effort. I mean riven transmute sounds interesting, being great for people who a metric ton of crap rivens, but otherwise...meh. I'm farming eidolons for the solo purpose of coverting shards into standing like others, so I'm hoping that the new eidolons to be dropping some seriously juicy shards for focus conversion. If not, I can see myself sticking to farming the teralyst.

It would be funny (and sorta thematically fitting) if Rumblers are petrified when inside Nullifier bubbles. Less work on the animators' end if they'd just pause them like some CC abilities. Having Rumblers lose health too if they stay inside the bubble gives a bit of urgency for Atlas to rescue his buddies, and reason to use Petrify to heal them up.

Of course, needing to babysit tough rockmen isn't fun. I hope the Rumbler AI at least recognizes the Nullifier bubble as a no-go zone and throw rocks at them to shrink it.

We all know by now that implimeting competent AI isn't their strongest suit. It seems that DE really wants this atlas rework pushed out sooner rather than later and improving AI of anything in this game *cough chesa kubrow* takes time. It'd certainly be nice to have some improvements, even if not to these levels.

I never played Atlas before, but he keeps getting more awesome. I got to get him!

I think what could be done to remedy this that when the rumblers make contact with a nuller's field they collapse, as per. Then reform when out of a nuller's field, as long as they is enough time left on the ability. This would address the rumbler's AI being that of a rock and not having to recast the ability whenever there's a scambus/nuller around.

If DE was to balance this, just reduce the maximum time you have rumblers active for.

i'm more miffed that they changed it because of harrow than a genuine balance change

Me too. This rebalance feels more like a rushed out nerf, before players could catch on it being vastly op. However DE could of given the plasmor a 'soft nerf' meaning that with the plasmor paired with lasting covenant, headshot damage would remain as is now. Without harrow's aug would see the plasmor back to pre-nerf.

It feels DE give little thought when rolling this out, and was easier for them just to outright nerf it instead of considering any other options, what a shame.

  10. This plasmor nerf has come just now because of harrow's lasting covenant augment. And in a way I can see their reasoning as it would become a new grossly op'd meta by abusing the plasmor's headshot arc, thus giving a near permanent massive crit buff. It was bound to see it's end like the mirage spamular, and other metas before it...

But my issue is here that DE never really battered an eyelid for near 8 months until lasting covenant, and I'd rather that they don't sink into the mantra of rebalancing weapons around an optional mod aug as it affects many other players who don't use or have harrow. I also feel that they is an acceptable window of time to nerf, rebalance a weapon and the plasmor's had been gone for quite awhile now.

  11. Guild Wars 2 nerfed and ball's up many endgame builds when they reworked the trait system, which was about the time I left. DE in contrast has really nerfed weapons that needed it such as synoid gammacor/simulor, not systems. If you heavily invest into weapons and combinations that appears to be grossly OP then that is of your own volition, especially if it is on the verge of become a new meta, like mirage and simulor spam was.

The only way DE could massively eff up is if that they rework IPS/elemental damage system to the point that it becomes entirely something else, with little regard to what players have already invested in. Unlike ArenaNet, DE is quite considerate so I'm hoping they exercise that judgement here.

  12. I came to Warframe from the back of Borderlands 2, and was looking to scatch that loot based shooter itch. I honestly didn't have high hopes, but saw it was f2p so I thought why not...4 years this April and I'm still going strong despite one or two hiatus. Best thing personally? I'd say the gameplay. Addictive, fast paced. Watching those numbers pop up as you happily slaughter 100s and 1000s in a myriad of different ways is still super satisfying.

  13. I'm getting a 2-3 second hang when I use the startchart in the liset, entering and exiting it. General performance on the liset is awry, especially in the loadout, mod screen...I've tried verifying cache and nothing is amiss there.

  14. Out of curiosity is anyone using nvidia's current driver? (Now the last driver.) Because it added a SLI profile for warframe. I've had a custom one made through inspector for years and never had performance issues like this, besides when U14 but that was expected...

I'm going to role back to the 384.xx drivers as they've been reliable when issues have occurred with other games, and my custom SLI and will edit post if any difference in performance is noted.

As others stated slash doesn't honestly need to be changed impact and puncture just need be reworked to be able to stand along with slash

Pretty much this, buffing Impact and puncture to bring it more inline with slash makes perfect sense. My biggest worry is that DE is going to over complicate the changes, resulting in a system that nerfs slash and doesn't address the current issues with IPS. I wait with bated breath to how elemental damage is going to work with IPS.

I know that there is no way of knowing when The Sacrifice will be released. Can any of the Tenno out there with more knowledge of past episodic releases speak to how long the wait has been in the past after a teaser quest like the one with the new orbiter room?

Spoilers tag just in case someone puts spoilers in this thread.

After the wait war within quest, waiting for the sacrifice is penuts.

Okay lets look at a few nerfs since you said they didnt change anything meaningful.

Ash 4 got changed. It was a huge nerf but previously it would lock all players out of killinh the affected enemies for the duration of ashs ulti, which he could spam.

Tonkor got self damage. This just brought it in line with the rest of the launchers. It still out performs most of them.

Simulor nerfs. This weapon negated the need to use anything else. No self damage, massive aoes, annoying noise, a lot of ammo, and synergised perfectly with mirage. After the change i see many other previously unused weapons being used and enjoyed.

Gara nerf. The nerf gave limbo and frost their niches back. She still has scaling damage and is still very team friendly with her 90% dr buff. Does need her ultis numbers looked at though.

So far the nerfs have mostly been warranted. Except for the valkyr ones. Those were just silly

You lost me at valkyr nerf. Staying in an ODD survival for 2 and half hours without little to no consequence was ridiculous. Valkyr's hysteria nerf was very much warranted, and I'd even go far as saying that Gara's wall nerf is in the same vain. It's also funny that nobody barely mentions how Gara is still 'broken' despite her ult nerf.

  18. The thing that urks me about this syandana the most is that is looks out of place on a petite warframe such as mirage prime. It is basically noru prime 2.0, however the noru looks better on her than the abbera as it is less bulky but clips or sits weird on her like most do atm. Mirage prime needs a syandana pass.
