I joined a DSC for the first time since the update, all I can say is this is without a doubt the worst PVP I have seen in a game. Hell I'd rather be under geared and have what I have, even against people with better gear, than for it to be this terrible.
If you are so worried about balance... I would rather not get to choose anything and have everyone in a conflict have exact duplicates, anyone for some, Unreal Tournament style Instagib? Anything would be better than the current whatever you are calling it.
Remember this is coming from an old diehard PVP fanatic when I say, "This game has no pvp worth mentioning, or at least not currently."
I'd love to see some real pvp in this game, maybe even some CTF, seems like it could lend itself well to that. I'm just going to be thankful, there are plenty of other games I can get my PVP fix in, cause Holy Moses PVP here is atrocious.

Yes it is. You just said it was. Serration is exclusive to those that have it, Excalibur is exclusive to those who have it, because just having something makes it exclusive unless everyone absolutely everywhere had it. That's what you said. So then Primed Chamber is exclusive to those that currently have it. Those people can be absolutely anybody. This award isn't even event exclusive. :P
Arguing semantics is in no way productive. When we say exclusive, we all know what we really mean.
No I did not! Trying to put words in my mouth, is not going to change anything I've said. Perhaps you should go back and actually try and comprehend some of what I have written before replying.
If you can currently obtain an item through game play, it's not exclusive by definition. Serration would fall under that category. I'm not sure where you got serration from, as I never mentioned it, but none the less I took time to explain.

Do you not know what Timed Exclusive means? A timed exclusive is when it's exclusive but only for a certain time, hence timed exclusive. Warframe was a timed exclusive until it came onto the PS4.ANd Primed Chamber is a timed exclusive as it will re-release
Do you? If you mean to say Warframe was exclusive to the pc at one time, which it was, simply say that. You could also claim that during a closed beta, since it's a limited number of players, and not open to others, yet lasts for a certain period of time, that it qualifies as a timed exclusive. However it's not in a closed beta so that does not currently apply either.
Now as for primed chamber, adding a timed moniker to exclusive really doesn't work since it's exclusivity has nothing to do with time at this point. You either got one by winning, or by other means, or you did not. You currently have no means by which to obtain one at the moment through game play. Of course you could after they re-release primed chamber say that it was once a timed exclusive because at that point in time it would qualify as such, but that time has not come yet, has it. Not to mention it would require speaking about it in the past tense, after said future event takes place, which would be kind of silly but ok.
Now that we have come round robin, currently we are left with primed chamber being exclusive, which it currently is. The game itself currently is neither exclusive, timed exclusive, limited edition, or anything else along those lines. However certain features or items in said game may still be not only all of those things, but also exclusive to a particular format.
PS remember folks all Cognac's are Brandy's, but not all Brandy's are Cognac's then again with today's loose definitions that may no longer be true.

I'll put it in Simple words. Just like Warframe (the game), Primed Chamber was a timed exclusive.
I'm literally rolling on the floor laughing. Simple maybe, but not currently correct by any stretch of the imagination. Warframe the game is still currently available in many formats. In fact for the game itself to be considered a "Timed Exclusive" it would require there come a time when only people currently playing would be able to play, and no new players would be able to start playing. It's much more likely that in some distant future it will cease to exist rather than meet those criteria.

Technically it was re-released due to those players who run it from the Raffle. And DE also stated the only sacred items will be Founder's, everything else can be re-released. So everything would be Limited Edition, but only Founder's is exclusive. DE has considered re-releasing P Chamber and even given it away, but they absolutely denied Founder return meaning they know what they want to keep exclusive.
By the way you do realize that limited is technically a synonym for exclusive don't you?
There are limited number out there correct? You cannot currently obtain one by any means during normal game play correct? If you answer yes to both those questions, then the item is by definition exclusive. Is that really to hard for people to grasp?
So... by this way of thinking, everything is exclusive, just not very exclusive?

So because DE said, we are going to what, change the definition of exclusive?
It's good on literally one gun and isn't exclusive. It'll come back sooner or later when DE feels like re releasing it.
Also, DE uses the term exclusive to denote that something will not be re released.
The fact is Primed Chamber has not been re-released yet. That alone, in and of itself, makes it exclusive. Even by DE definition of the word, which apparently changes dependent on whom you are speaking with.
Just because you tell people you are going to re-release something again at an unknown time and date. Does not magically change it by definition from exclusive to non-exclusive, you actually have to release it again first for that to happen, even then the manor in which you re-release may only make it less exclusive, but still exclusive none the less.

First off! If you had read my entire statement, you would have noticed I never said primed chamber was exclusive. I was clearly making a blanket statement about exclusive items, that was being argued in the above posts. Granted the thread title mentions primed chamber so I can see how it could have been misconstrued.
However! Now that you bring it up, maybe we should discuss semantics. Primed chamber was released as a reward to 100 people and possibly some lucky transmutes. To date Primed Chamber has not been re-released. Therefore until such time as it is actually released again in a manor that enables it to be obtained through normal game play, it's actually exclusive.

It's pretty clear just from reading this thread, that exclusive items only serve to bring out the worst in people, and isolate new players. I've never witnessed it be anything other than toxic to a games lifespan and player base.

I'm kinda concerned people think a good Nekros would not use SotD , first off it has plenty of uses but the best part is you get to desecrate your shadows when they drop, how exactly is having more to desecrate bad.

I'd let her choose which she could get easier. Excalibur Prime,or Primed Chamber. Two things I would love to have, that I can't get.

Ordis just needs more things to choose from when talking, currently he feels like an AI that is lacking on the Intelligence.
The UI is OK. A bit much like a cheap console UI IMO. I'd like to see a way to still access the full star chart.

This makes me not want to log in. I like that all my kubrow share the same body type and are snow white with no markings if that has changed I will be very disappointed.

This really doesn't bother me in the least. I'm patient if I have to kill Feral Kubrow for a month I will, it's not a big deal.
Now a few things on the other hand that I do find annoying, silly, aggravating and upsetting. Having only started playing recently. I will never be able to complete my collection. Excal Prime I wasn't around to be a founder or I would have, great an entire frame, I CANT GET! Prime versions of the two extractors, again I was not around so, I CANT GET THEM! A few weapons again I was not around so, I CAN NEVER GET THEM.
Primed Chamber, Aviator, EMP aura etc. Just three of the mods I have no chance to get through game play or farming /grinding, Granted I really only want the primed chamber, but it would be nice to have a complete collection. I have no issues supporting games I do it all the time, but 500 dollars of plat for one mod is silly and that's if you can find someone willing to sell it. Did I mention all the arcane helms?
Quite simply exclusive should be cosmetic only or trophies for the Dojo, Anything more than that is annoying to new players to say the least.
Another complaint NERFS and not what you may be thinking either. The constant nerfing of AI opponents I find a bit silly. Osprey, Arc traps, Feral Kubrow, etc. etc the list is getting longer all the time. Do people really find all this absurdly challenging? IF they dumb down much more it's going to be boring as hell. I want bigger challenges, I want to be able to attain all things in the game even if it means grinding countless hours, not be forever kept from getting some things because I didn't start playing at the very start.
I just do not understand the complaints about grinds and farming, at least it is attainable with some effort unlike the things I want that you simply just can not get period. 100k stabilizer? 100k is chump change for a pack that will last you a week.
I would gladly farm everyone in this thread a complete set of kubrow mods, if each set I gave away, would get me one of the things I CAN'T GET.

They have some pathing issues and are easy to lose track of which should be addressed..
The real problem is all of them are missing the most important Kubrow mod, because some one didn't put it in the game. What mod is it you may ask... "Fetch" what does it do? The same thing Vacuum does but all Kubrow should have it, Heck I see feral Kubrow all the time picking something up and carrying it home, but you are telling me I can' train my Kubrow to fetch things I need for me? That's silly!

I'm disappointed about this change to say the least. It wasn't really infinite as stamina could still get you, all it really did was remove the ability to do some really interesting advanced parkour, say run up a wall, change direction run along the wall, stop and run farther up, there is no way to change directions on a wall anymore, it is kind of boring compared to what it was.
I give this change a big two thumbs down.

I play the game and plenty of things matter to me other than how DE uses terminology. For instance my three sons one of whom just graduated from college they matter to me.
This is not an argument about the meaning of exclusive. I know it's meaning! This is an argument that people can't get primed chamber among other things because they are currently exclusive.
There is currently a set number of Primed Chamber(I don't know the exact number) in the wild. Buying one in trade chat does not change that number. So unless you can tell us all where primed chamber can currently be obtained in game, it's exclusive by definition, regardless of what anybody says to the contrary.
They should have just given the 100 a trophy for the Dojo, and avoided all this nonsense in the first place. Exclusivity of mods in any form is going to cause issues and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand that. Doesn't matter if it's only good on the Vectis it's a matter of principal.
It would be like DE telling people that if they jump off the Empire State building, wind currents would magically whisk them off to some land where all their dreams come true, and people taking it as fact no doubt falling to their death, because they lack the ability to think for themselves.
If DE wants to say we are going to re-release primed chamber that is all fine and dandy. If they want to say we aren't that is all fine and dandy. However if they choose to say, no that is not exclusive we will (date unknown) release it again. Then hold up buttercup! I have some issues to air, because it means until said unknown time it is actually exclusive, which means in turn they either willing or unintentionally through ignorance just lied to me.
Say what you mean... Just do not expect me to follow like a lemming, if what you say, and what you mean, directly contradict each other. It's insulting.
