  1. I like general idea, since it seems to be laying the framework for some sort of tiering/progression system amongst weapons, but it should be a logical upgrade (Latron -> Tiberon makes a lick of sense) and not just there for the sake of extending build times.

Basically my feels as well. I was perfectly down with how you sacrifice a nikana and some resources to make a dragon nikana, makes sense using the weaker version of the weapon to craft a more improved version of it. But as it is de is just using it as another wall for players obtaining weapons.

It's a mindset I really don't appreciate to be perfectly honest, I don't know why DE thinks they need to continue adding more and more walls to the game when the community always protests against it.

It's happening with frames (with the last four the walls for obtaining them have escalated one after another) and now its arrived for weapons as well, and if I'm being entirely honest I don't think this is going to be the end of it either. Just as we are seeing with newer frames and them being locked behind bigger and bigger grind walls, so will weapons. And not because they are stronger or superior to predecessors but merely because de likes it that way.

  2. See DE isn't a chain restaurant, it's more of a niche cafe. DE is not relying on a huge customer base, they're relying on the small group that refuse to eat steak anywhere else. Yes,they WANT as many people as possible to eat there....but they're also aware that there is only a select group that TRULY likes their steak....It isn't about getting EVERYONE it's about keeping the ones that enjoy being there. You can please some of the people but not all of them....so you work with the people you do please and try to get more of those.

I will enjoy my ice cream...but your coloring book is on fire and melting your crayons...

if that's the case, appeasing to the consumers would be all the more prevalent since smaller scale businesses rely far more on customer loyalty than larger scale ones do. and do you know how loyalty is acquired? by actually pleasing the customer and caring about them.

the basics is, if you don't care about your customers then your company is bound to fail.

  3. Not to mention that the Platinum making it to you is really DE's only responsibility to you as a "customer". You can EASILY find out if it is worth BEING a customer BEFORE ever buying Plat...That is the great thing about F2P games. That restaurant isn't going to let you try the steak to see if you like it,you either buy it or don't...those are the ONLY options. Here you get a Starter frame, you get armaments, and all kinds of other things given to you to see if you WANT to be a customer. Basically DE gives you a piece of steak and asks if you like it. If you do then you get more. If you don't you're free to leave after enjoying your free appetizer...And even then you don't actually have to pay for the steak...you CAN make it yourself to your taste if you like...all for free if you choose. If you like it.

under that logic this game would quickly die. as a company that thrives off users enjoyment and fondness of their product it hardly needs explaining how badly it would go if de was just to say "screw all" to the community and focus absolutely nothing on the users experience/enjoyment.

they certainly can do that, it is well within their rights as you are such a fan of. but it is also flat out stupid and would quickly drive warframe to the ground.

  4. dont agree with your view. At all. We need more of these kinds of enemies, not less. Stuff that just wont die and drop loot when you look at it.

but i wasn't objecting to a difficult enemy? in fact i said it was greatly desired that the game added more challenging content, its just the nullifier in their current situation are not the correct answer. they aren't challenges, they are simply limiting, which is certainly not a desirable aspect in any game.

  5. -Pain

    -Grind

-T5 keys (have a 0.000002% chance to drop from the new void exclusive assassin, stalker prime, who only appears in T5 missions)

-Fomorians become a weekly event, rewards for killing them is 10.000 credits (gg relays)

    -Excalibur nerf

    -Trinity nerf

-Radial Blind removed, replaced with Super Slide

-Radial javelin replaced by RNJavelin, has a random chance to spawn 1-3 javelins that deal a random amount of damage, requires line of sight

    -Trinity removed from the game

    -Nova nerf

    -Rakta Ballistica nerf

    -More broken PvP

    -More broken PvE

-Forma has an even higher chance of being a void reward

-Formaing a weapon/warframe now removes any installed catalyst or reactor, and they have to be reapplied whenever you put forma on it

    -Archwing prime

    -Archwing nerf

    -Archwing enemy buff

-J-3 Golem boss, includes invincibility phases, can only be fought once you craft the Golem key, which requires J-3 coordinates that have a very low chance to be rewarded at the end of Uranus interception (and only if you stay for 30 rounds or more)

-Mesa parts have a lower chance to drop

-New unbalanced frame that makes older frames completely irrelevant

-Invasions and outbreak changes, now you must complete 20 missions in each to recieve the rewards

-Swarm Moa's insect cloud changes, now completely blacks out your screen and can only be removed transmiting it to a teammate

I think that about sums up my expectations...Im pretty sure im missing a few but it seems okay for now

    Cheers

seems like someone has the right idea. cheers to de, may the nerfs be ever bountiful.

  6. can't we all just agree de needs to rethink how the nullifiers function? the playerbase wanted a challenge, and while sure de made and attempt it was a poor one and ended up a cheap gimmick that really only robs players of options instead of merely raising stakes.

the fact that there are only one or two viable means of handling a nullifier shows just how much of a failed product it is for a game that is so dedicated to offering a broad variety of gameplay styles.
