LarryYourWaiter
Hello, where can I find info on the upcoming changes to melee? Specifically, what’s happening with (primed) Reach? I hear people talking of the changes but can’t find any info directly from DE. Is it hidden in a forum thread here somewhere?
0 tobascodagama
The info we have so far is just stuff pulled from dev streams that may well have changed since then. Honestly, just forget melee 3.0 is a thing and get on with your life.
0 LarryYourWaiter
I’ve seen it alluded to that reach will give a set distance rather than a %. This would make it more viable for shorter weapons while maybe scaling back the distance for polearms and similar. Wondering if I should splash out and buy parts for this prime vaulted weapon I’ve always wanted... some extra reach would make it a lot more attractive for me. 0 0_The_F00l
There is no official thread with specific details. most information is estimated using comments made in devstreams and some developer workshops.
0 kamyung
Melee 3.0 is a total game changer so try not to buy expensive mods and well just prepare yourself to a totally new melee mechanic
